Am I right that the door animations are going to be slowed down a bit Mathijs? A great effort and congratulations on producing a great add on, that Aerosoft will reap their rewards from financially, and deservedly so.
I think they would also look a bit smoother if the prop disk was a bit more transparent. It is quite dark at the moment which makes the transition more striking.
This aircraft is one of the few that are essential for MSFS in my opinion, I'm counting the days down to release, and it's getting released just 5 days after my birthday, a very nice birthday present from my in laws. Thanks for the preview filbert.
Yes, these two are fantastic airports - payware quality really. Search flightsim.to for superspud (the guy who made them) - all of his stuff is worth having.
Looking damn fine. Even the prop animation isn’t that bad as unfinished as it apparently is. That landing looked pretty hard, passengers might need a smoke after that! :p
Great aircraft, shame that they didn't update it for p3d V5 even though you can use it in P3d V5 :P - I like flying this and while I do have the p3d version might get it for new sim....
@@janreidarstorelvmo1293 Surprisingly, in the Kodiak you had to pull a circuit breaker to increase the sims performance because one of the instruments was using a ton of processing power. Some just like to completely turn off any glass and use pure steam gauges which I understand when you only fly VFR.
@@janreidarstorelvmo1293 it can be useful to disable specific systems (e.g. GPS or the standby indicator of the Kodiak tanking performance). Also, i love flying the DC6 with random CB failures, since it requires me to pay much more attention to the systems, instead of assuming i'm flying a perfectly safe plane
@@FilbertFlies It's a shame to hear they weren't that popular. Airport reviews were what drew me to your channel. I always appreciated how in depth they were and they often helped me make an informed decision before purchasing. Gotta do what's best for you and the channel though so I can understand the decision to drop them.
@@haggu_ I agree with that 100%. I have a YT playlist called "Filbert reviews" and still go back to it frequently whenever I have some spare money to buy an extra airport. Haven't found anyone else who does the reviews in as much detail, which for me was a real drawcard.
The prop animations will be worked on this week.

I can't believe that aerosoft made the Twin Otter for MSFS. Looking foward to buy it
Me too!

I'll be buying this plane and the cessna skymaster. Very excited.
Nice looking aircraft! Looking forward to adding this to my collection!
Thank you for this beautiful video! I think you hit the sweet spot for a beta preview, not too long and not too short ...
I keep going back and forth on this one after our discussion the other day. I have a feeling it's going to be added to my Caribbean fleet. ;)
FILBERT IS AMAZIN
Awesome video boss must consider getting it when it releases!
Brilliant Video Filbert this is a Brilliant review!!!😎
You’re so lucky you got to try this beetle build. Can’t wait
Great video, thanks got the airport links. They look very nice, must have! 😊

Nah, you got confused cos of the up slope of the runway 😉
@@FilbertFlies ah huh, a likely excuse.
But srsly, that runway slope came up real quick on you. Unexpectedly steep!

Finaly
Haha, I know, I know. Life got in the way of getting this out! ;-)
This plane looks really great! Just curious, can you remove the gps and do the circuit breakers work?
Unfortunately not, to both, at least in the beta. Not sure if there are plans for this in the final release build.
What do you need simulated circuit breakers for? Just curious :P

When are you gonna start doing more Airport reviews again?
I'm not sure I will to be honest. They're very time consuming and not that popular. I'll probably stick to doing a quick review of them on my streams.
