except Arlette didn't start this. lol. UA-camrs in the UK have been doing this for years, Nigerian and Ghanaian content creators started doing it too, THEN Arlette came out with hers. But I will say I do enjoy Arlette's version the most.

This has great potential. But need to work on production, angles, the flor of asking questions etc but it was just the first. Keep working 👏🏽👏🏽
In time some, time finds is limited, that’s why I didn’t jump in it.
The ladies were more gorgeous than I realized. Unfortunately, due to camera angles and lack of closeups I didn't find this out until the interview portion at the end of the show. ☺️

I’m liking the show so far, and I just subscribed to the channel.
However, if I’m going to keep watching this channel, here are some criticisms that I need to add.
Because Arlett’s hosting style is graceful, classy, and stylish, it’s difficult to transition to someone who is loud, dramatic and dowdy.
Just tone it down. Take the shouting antics out. This will bring balance to the show without making the watchers feel uncomfortable and have second hand embarrassment as if the host is about to get filled during a dating show.
We are looking to watch the guests and the outcome, not a host that can’t keep her religious antics under control.
The host can turn people on or turn people off.
I hope this helps if this channel is going to take off.
Additionally, as I continue to watch, the host’s questions are very shallow and superficial.
The host’s questions should not be so religious centered. Many Christians are divorcing because many don’t have balance in their lives as it relates to finances, sex, values, and more.
Asking what someone’s favorite scriptures and favorite Christian music artists are are so irrelevant.
Take these silly questions out especially the last question as if they are going to get married.
Also, redo the intro music.

Although Christian based questions are needed for this show to set apart from the rest, questions like favorite gospel artist and scripture can be saved for the date. But it's the host that needs to tone it down. I was offended 1min in because I thought she was making fun of the religion by being too over the top with the intro music

@leahknowsbeauty1168 I thought the same thing!! I was like "are they mocking God" because that is a BIG NO! Don't play with God and use his name in vain. This is a great idea but I agree, the music and the dance needs to go, seems like God is being made fun of. Only the 1st episode so it may get better with time but I do agree with both of you on all of your points!

Not to compare. But! This version was refreshing. They told their truth no to be a follower taken with grace. Great questions. Great answers. Slow to ask and slow to answer. I'm ready for the next one.... Geat to see all is not lost. There is hipe after all.

Some Christians are bigger critics against their own versus the world. RELAX. Pray for the success of the show... Just for the premise of magnifying the name of the Lord, if nothing else, as if that's not enough. Sure we have our thoughts but I'm sure MANY copycats of the original show will come out... Even more Christian pop the balloon Creators.

I think it's good for them to get feedback and do it better. Because this was not it. Very cringy. From the music, to the host, to the questions. It felt like a boomer or a gen X was directing this

Please watch Arlette pop the balloon format and take in consideration where she stand with the contestants and the camera person direction of photography. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get pass the first contestant. The best to you on your future growth and tweaking of the format. Best to you.

I agree, camera positioning should improve on the next episode. The structure was off, it seemed a little unorganized. The host is nice, and animated, but with respect… she was doing a bit much. As much as I love God, I don’t speak in parables in my regular everyday speech, just speak normal, we know God is the center of the show, that’s why we’re watching. All in all I think this show can be very successful with just a few changes.

Loved this! I subscribed becuae this version is quite lovely. People state what they do for a living without being vague and lying. The people are here to date and not tear people down and insult them and everyone comes off as intelligent. Looking forward to your next episode.

A Christian dating show, nice! Do rearrange the angle of the camera so that we can see the facial expressions when they are communicating. Also, asking about when they got saved is a good question! Keep that question always please. Please keep a fixed strategy because I noticed someone outside the video making a suggestion to the host. I also think there should be an extra mic, if possible, to be passed among the ladies. Did Erica change her age from 35 to 34? Giirrllll

I am a huge fan of Arlette pop the balloon, and I was looking forward to watching this one as well, but it is not appealing looking at the back of the man’s head. I can’t see his face. He’s blocking the ladies. The host is very entertaining I would like to see more.

Excellent idea. This was so funny. The concept is spot on and not silly like some of the versions. The only critique that i have you is the video angles . Outside of that i can't wait until the next episode.

I love this version of Pop the Balloon, but we need to get an actual camera person for angles. The guest man had his back turned the entire time against the camera, the lighting was very dim, and we needed better production. Other than that, the show is sweet, and I will keep watching.
As a woman of God, I appreciate it, but it's slightly cringy. I'm all for Christians dating, but it's the questions the host is asking that's off.
