Merry Christmas, Joe. Lovely gifts from the family. I'm wishing you all good things in the year to come. Enjoy the rest of the holidays. Thanks for what you are doing here on your channel.
I will reread some Christie's story about poisonous puddings and strange death's, hopefully all will be around Christmas time. And I will definitely enjoy...
If it's available on streaming I'm the UK, I recommend the movie Red One. It's a fun action Santa movie that everyone from my teen to my septuagenarian dad enjoyed.
Happy Christmas + Boxing Day! Hope you enjoy your time with folks in Derbyshire. I’m always happy to hear a review of a Trollope novel, especially one I haven’t yet read. “The Sleepwalkers” is on my never ending list of books I’d like to read (eventually). Best wishes for the New Year!
Merry Christmas to you and yours! Ah, we kind of had a similar Christmas Day! I also watched Cindy get her comeuppance with my mother! As for reading, I have treated myself to a lot of poetry and literary criticism for the next few months!
Cindy's actress plays the part with such a tireless malice that I don't think anyone sane of mind would fail to lend her a thwacking if a shovel came conveniently to hand! I'm glad to hear Eastenders still unites the nation!
@ Ha! I stopped watching Eastenders avidly around ten years ago, but my mother still does, so I tune in from time to time; especially with such big storylines! But who wielded the shovel…
You make me want to keep trying Trollope. Barchester Towers was good fun and innovative writing but lightweight. What is his most serious work? Or, is his appeal lack of seriousness? Merry Holidays to you Joe!
Totally delightful.
The review of Eastenders.😂😂😂😂

I love He Knew He Was Right! I’ve read it twice. Jemima Stanbury might be my favourite Trollope character.
She's stiff and priggish, but I sense she'll bend with the wind as easily as even us dire atheists!

Let's say 48. 48 eggs are in the jar

Happy somnambulating whenever you do get around to it!

Mr Glascock. You can always see him coming.
@@Szaam I think you need to credit Alan Davies! That one was as predictable and obvious as the dangler in question 😉
@JoeSpivey02 you're a QI man too I see. I almost got away with such flagrant plagiarism.

@ shovels do not require male levels of supernormal strength, so I think it might have been Ian’s mum Cathy!
@@JoeSpivey02 Ooh! Kathy is a good shout! My guess was Kojo!

The Way We Live Now.
Generally, one reads Trollope for entertainment. 😉
Trollope doesn't lack seriousness, but he did well to strip the airs and graces from his chin-stroking!
