I only saw this wonderful video of yours today ... Wonderful! A medicine for the spirit, both the cruise to places I have only visited by motorbike or car, and the documentation of a job that seems impossible until it is finished ... What a satisfaction, very good! I hope one day to be able to sail to those places and then go down the canals to the Mediterranean Sea with my next boat. Definitely a Nauticat. Fair Winds to you and your family
1000 uur. Toen ik het begin van het renovatiedeel zag dacht ik : " weet hij waar ie aan begint. Eenmaal alles los en open ,kun je niet meer terug" Wat een werk en wat een vooruitdenken. Al die details...wat een talent ! Respect hoor Guido.
Thanks, Guido. You’ve done a very nice job of showing how special the Netherlands is. In this one you are at my home Marina here in Stellendam. As an Australian living in the Netherlands I spend a lot of time pointing out to people just how unique the Netherlands is, and I use Australia to highlight the difference. The Netherlands is just 46,000 square kilometers large. That is 2/3rds the size of the smallest Australian Island State (other than the ACT) Tasmania. At a population of 17 million the Netherlands is 2/3rds the population of Australia’s 25 million, and yet at $0.925 trillion the Netherland’s GDP is 2/3rds that of Australia, not to mention 2/3rds that of Putins’s Russia, the country that wants to dominate Europe. Amazing place, amazing people. Thanks for the video.
No,the only movies and fotos are a once a year thing, its an overvieuw off the past year. First the trips, without masts on the nearby channels and waterways ( ghent/ belgium) than with masts the seagoiing trips ,the second part consist the renovation of that year. This winter the two gangways are renewed( parts of subdeck plus new teak . The mohahany surrounding ,bowsprit, and some mechanical isseus. You will sea this this year film in oktober. Next year its the final winter off renovation, than hopefully trips with the boat to far away destinations.
What a beautiful piece of footage - lovely places and a great production. Thanks for sharing!

Great quality work and very informative. I’m about to undertake similar work on a 1976 Nauticat 33 so this is very helpful.
I also think to take off the masts and ride along the rivers :)
