Take the 4 to Brooklyn Bridge and transfer to the 5 train then at 14 street transfer between 5 and N trains and transfer between N and Q trains at 57 street 7 avenue for the Q to 96 Street.
Long Metro44 L. good idea and it might be better take 4 train to Bowling Green for 5 train train to 59th Street for a free out of system transfer at 63rd Street for Q train to 96th-2nd
+Long Metro44 L. Why don't you just take the Q from 14 Street Union Sq? No need to take the N especially when it's express from Canal Street to 34 Street Herald Sq, while the Q is express from Canal to 57 Street 7 Avenue. You miss one stop, and may have a chance of missing the train when you arrive at 57
Good point but for bowling Green to 96th-2nd there are 2 options 1.) 4 & 5 trains to Q train at 14th street (in system transfer like 6 train to Orange M train at 51st street to 96th-2nd ave or option 2 is 4 & 5 trains from Bowling Green then transfer 59th street for Q train to 96th-2nd ave at 63rd street (free out of system transfer
4:57 - it's not a (B) train changed to a (W) train. It's just that there are only 3 R68's (which is the car you were talking about) left on the (N) and (W) Services.
Very good video! You know there are three (S) trains, right? There's the 42nd Street (S) (the one you took in this video), the Franklin Avenue (S) and the Rockaway Park (S).
1 Train from South Ferry > Chambers St 2 train from Chambers St > 14 st L train from 6 av/ 14 St > Union Square Q train from Union Square - Herald Square F train from Herald Square - Forest Hills- 71 Ave
