My mom said the lead singer looks like if Freddie Mercury "went down a different career path" lmao.
another one BLEGHS the AUUUUUU
Fuckin Chase... Hahah
I am glad you're watching this with your mom
xD
Like mercury goes on heavy Drugs yesterday
You can tell they're old school death just by the vocalists 'stache
I'd call that 70s porn star stache
remember kids, kyle from incantation did indeed have a mustache, seth said so him self.
HA! And the HM-2 pedal.
The K! Pit does it again; this was so sludgy and heavy we had to set the local cemetery on fire to keep the bodies from crawling their way out of the ground. Good times.
This is the first time of realized how beautifully disgusting their bass is. Very subtle.
its not beautiful. It's like a burst of diahrea fart. And it's awesome
GATECREEPER FUCKS HARD. Hell yeah. Lets see Power Trip or Turnstile please
Fuck Yeah
Power trip and gatecreeper toured together a couple years ago. I was there to see power trip and didn't know about gatecreeper, saw the singer from 'creeper at the merch table and thought he was the singer from power trip. They look identical in a dark club.
@@drakuntt holy shit that's sick
@@drakuntt That happened at show a few years back with Cattle Decapitation and Beyond Creation. It was a little venue and everybody kept going up to BC's drummer asking him to sign their Cattle stuff ahaha
@@drakuntt With Cannibal Corpse right? I was at the show in CLE and they killed it
seen these guys twice: once with cannibal corpse; then with exhumed. gatecreeper does not disappoint. and they are phenomenally appreciative to their fans. super nice guys. support this band - buy their records, sport a shirt. good music from good people.
Saw them in LA last year and they truly are phenomenal and connect well with the audience.
Same, they blew Cannibal off the stage when I saw them together.
@@thrashtildeath710 What!! Gatecreeper(American Entombed) is awesome but they're not in Cannibal league
Saw them with Full of Hell then on that Necrot/Gatecreeper/Exhumed tour (Judiciary opening maybe?) Such a great death metal band, for new and old fans like myself. Hails!
I'm gonna see them next month with Cannibal Corpse 🤘🏼
Glad to see a crowd that isn't just standing there holding cell phones in their hands.
I agree 666%. Folks pay good money, travel hundred's of miles, just to do what I am on my couch. A metal show is about experiencing a single moment you can never get back in life. I never understood watching the present moment through a little screen.
K pit’s live sound mix is god tier
The good old sound of the Swedish Death Metal from the 90’s. Shout out to Dismember, Unleashed, Entombed, Grave! Shout out to Gatecreeper!
ya Entombed for sure
Just hearing these guys , guess I've been too hung up on cattle decap and others..very stoked atm
You mean it's all of those.... by way of Bolt Thrower! :D
@@MrEquinoxParadox on point :D
Good blender

the real mvp
You’re a hero. Someone buy this man dinner.
Great work man... True Extreme Metal...
The vocalist look like a young Lord Worm...
Really want a GateCreeper/Power Trip tour down under
Horror From Below Guess so tbh. In Perth there's a pretty big death metal scene but yeh, not yet anyways
They did back in 2017 with Cannibal Corpse as headline , Awesome show when I saw that tour in NYC
Call it the Trashin' and Mustachin' Tour
Saw Gatecreeper, Power Trip, and Cannibal Corpse in Richmond, VA. That show was nuts
I saw that tour on cannibal corpses day off. Sound guy was a total fuck nut but it was a great show
From Åerizöna, Sweden?
Chase's vocals have improved greatly. They sound much more clear than the debut album era.
I think that's mostly cuz of improved mixing, his vocal style has not changed.
@@klabbegustafsson8605 his style has not changed but he has 100% gotten better at it.
@@puppetmaster8551 Yeah for sure!
the one that they won't post lyrics to..lol. I feel like my mans was just a groanin' and a moanin' but it still sounded sick.
You can hear the hardcore influenced in his vocals.
That’s one thing I love most about this band. The hardcore influence makes for an awesome blend of styles.
reminds me of despised icon at times :D
@@ccchase420 oh shit. I remember them.
The riff to "Puncture Wounds" is fucking SAVAGE.
I loooove this blend of doom and death, why have only slow or only fast music when you can have both in one!
The guitarist Eric Snuck me into the Salt Lake show because it was 21+
Sick!!!
their sound is surprisingly texture, profound and powerful! the guitars have a lot of distortion yet it is completely controlled and with great definition! Even the bass is very present, and it usually gets completely lost in Death Metal. I Adore it.
Incredible production on their albums (they've obviously had a clear vision from the beginning) but, also, the gang at K! did a damn great job capturing and mixing the details. For those who read this and haven't listened with decent headphones or speakers, definitely give it another listen with them. The aggression, the passion is right fucking there!
@@matthewfoster9816 couldn’t agree more. And they keep improving. An unexpected reality is one of the best sounding productions I’ve ever heard.
I’m late but being someone who has a few songs of theirs on an expansive playlist after watching this and truly taking in their sound this is an amazing description of their sound and style this shit is amazing.
Except death regarding the bass on human etc
No mud. All muck.
This is what I aspire to sound like on a vocal level. I absolutely love his mid range growl
Love em. They're like a pissed off Pallbearer.
This is one of their two doomy tracks off of the new album. The other one being "Absence of Light" which is a great track.
Listen to their sister band "spirit adrift" . Really good classic doom.
@@bustocream97 Ive heard "Hear her" which is awesome...
@@bustocream97 I wouldn't really call Spirit Adrift doom.
This is not even something that would have crossed my mind. I saw Pallbearer with High On Fire... Boy, did my brother, our friends, and I not enjoy them. Got hyped for some thrash, drank some... Pallbearer comes on and we were sedated. Will definitely check them out again, just because of this comment. Thanks for that. Keep being excellent, yo.
That snare drum is magnificent
Deserted is one of 2019s best if not the best 🤘🏻
Old school is still alive 💜💜
Please get High on Fire to do a set.
I would kill a man to see that
I lost count on how often I've watched this
This Band is perfection. Best Death Metal out there in my opinion.
That sounds like the guitar tone from Entombed's Wolverine Blues, love it!
Sunlight recording studio without Thomas Skogsberg but with better balance to it. Dan Swanö would be proud.
This shit literally sounded like this when I saw them live.. so sick
I don't understand why people give Gatecreeper such a hard time, they're fucking brutal
Anyone giving these dudes a hard time is a clown, Gatecreeper rules
Me neither LoL this is one of the best bands ever .. I consider their albums masterpieces ...not a song I don't like
Been waiting for this one! Just as punishing live as they are in studio. Side note: a Gatecreeper/Outer Heaven co-headliner would be a disgusting tour.
Saw Tomb Mold and Gatecreeper in Toronto was heaven lol
Add creeping death to the bill
They played together at st vitus a few years ago. Great show.
finally gatecreeper, aw man.....
Gatecreeper is the death metal equivalent of power trip. Vocalists even look alike
Gatecreeper rejuvenated my Death Metal taste
Same
Fuck yes...I grew up listening to entombed, grave and dismember in late 80s early 90s...this is 2019 and I feel alive with that sound from my early teens!!!
I like chainsaw guitar sound yeaaahh 🔥
Freddie Mercury is alive and sing for gatecreeper.
Chase Mason (vocalist) saw your comment and posted it on his Instagram story!!
“Comment about mustache” -someone who can’t grow one.
If Gatecreeper, Fuming Mouth, Tomb Mold, and Witch Vomit did a tour together, my life would be complete. Gatecreeper looks like they fucking BRING IT live.
The first minute of this was enough to make me go online straight away and get tickets to see them in Southampton in July. Immense….
How was the show? Gatecreeper rules live.
@@puppetmaster8551 It was immense. Seeing such a good, heavy band up close and personal in a small venue is the perfect gig.
Love the K Pit Concert series. Awesome bands and awesome venues. This show was cruuuuuushing.
Oh, and a special mention for whoever was at the desk for this. Nailed it.
Who disliked this??? Suffer drowning in quicksand!
this is beyond badass. keep making these
I've been living under a rock just discovered this band and omg THANK YOUUUUU. I look forward to seeing them in March!!!
THE KINGS!! THANK YOU FOR THIS!
I always thought the Vocalist, Chase Mason, looks like Glenn Frey from the Eagles from the 70s haha. Sick band 🤘
Dude. Totally.
Gatecreeper is raw asf, can’t wait to catch another show
Excellent!!!
They’re so amazing, glad I got the chance to see them.
I honestly think they harness the powers of Chase's mustache when they perform live..
I need a show like this right now in my life.
First track has definitely got some Entombed influence. Add a dash of Dismember and Bolt Thrower. Bam!!! You have a great recipe for Death Metal
Epic sound, awesome!
Thanx to Kerrang for putting these shows up. Can't wait to see Gatecreeper live myself. Awesome setlist and killer live sound. 🤘
Sound just as amazing live as they do in the studio...
Just discovered this band today through some random UA-cam suggestion, and so far, I am loving it.
Man, K Pit videos are always mixed well but this was next level. I can’t imagine they’re an easy band to mix either. Fucking love this band!!
Their mixed rule, this one and the mastodon one are both some top tier shit
I've watched this every day for a week now,so fucking sick
Never thought I’d see Gatecreeper on keerang
Gatecreeper rules, absolutely classic Swedish death metal sound. Makes me happy these dudes are from Arizona, cream of the crop out here
The Dive bar in My city has the most sleeper shows I wish I could see these bands in such a small space with all the homies itching to Push Pit.
Holy shit the drums always sound incredible in the pit!
I loved every minute of this, putting it in my rotation, Merch has been ordered!
Love this so much ✊
This is what I like to call quality Death Metal.
This sound quality is brilliant
Really well shot gig!
Wish they would have played Craving Flesh. Saw them in Birmingham, AL with Kamikaze Zombie, Power Trip, and Cannibal Corpse. I became a fan of Power Trip and Gatecreeper that night, and the show was awesome!
Man, first time hearing this band. Immediately takes me back 20+ years to that old Grave/Dismember vibes. Noice.
Great production,great band,kudos
these dudes are so good on record and even better live! that's a hard feat to achieve, huge fan!
That Dunable R2 flex though
It's a Gibson rd
@@gabrielguerrero7692 It's definitely a Dunable R2, styled after the Gibson RD though 👍🏻
Badass. That snare could NOT sound better!!
Such a tight band, this performance was impeccable
That HM2 sound is straight fire!
Heavier than the Earth's gravitational pull.
AWESOME. Come to Brazil!
Love the new album so much! ❤🤘
Groovy heavy death metal. It's been a while
Great band, even better people
Finally !!!
What a great discovery
Would like to see Creeping Death on here
'Sterilizing' is a song that should be in their set. Great mix & tones on the guitars.
Great vocals
man i loves me some old school death metal
Such a good band.
Uuuhhhh... Amazing band, The New Wave Of Old School Death Metal...
Gatecreeper is so damn good live! I caught them in Portland with Nails and Toxic Holocaust. Needless to say, it was a rowdy-ass show.
This may be the best UA-cam video I have ever seen. And I have been here since Nutnfancy was monetized.
Muito TOP essa banda! Não conhecia...e agora já sou fã!!! Vocal poderosíssimo!
This is pretty decent!
Hello from Scotland!
That Boss Metal Zone chainsaw tone is real nice
Sick to see these guys on here...
Sick show. Shot really well
Brilliant Band!!!!!
Just saw them on Sep 9th with Amon Amarth. They KILLED it! What a set, highlight of the night.
liked before before i watched
Always 🤘
Love these dudes! Born and raised in Arizona. HAIL
Just....the best
