I think of that conversation every time someone dies. It has stuck with me all these years.

I really hope that the mother made it to live a good life from that moment on. Her story touch me very much. So awful to loose a child that way.

Focus on the daughter you still have who needs you with them in their life today and tomorrow. Please think of them. It will help you heal. And heal your daughter who is still alive. Appreciate her, cause you still have her. Please, dear hurting Mom. I am so sorry,

Damn I miss Oprah.... Especially now that I am older and I cam appreciate the advice and opinion on life. I am watching a few episodes for the second time and some of them for the first time.... But i get something out of them everytime.... I dont do a lof the stereotypical "women" things but when it comes to Oprah I am definitely the woman sitting here with a snack 😂

There really aren't moments on TV anymore like the one with Jo Ann Compton... I really pray that this woman found peace. And I wish that OWN would start posting more episodes like this one.

No kidding. I've watched him throughout the years and it just seems like he's gotten caught up, to some degree, saying the politically correct things to say.

I think people should treat others well because it's the right thing, not because you have to "make them"

Dr.phil is the man with a plan. For everything. He has all these old sayings that are common sense, but people need to hear them. Dr.phil has sadly sold out these laters years along with Oprah. But success and money does it.

This version of Dr Phil shows his hillbilly accent, he's lost it now. During the Oprah yrs, I was tackling my late teens and Dr Phil I was tackling my child raising days. I couldn't have done without them!

Unless something is keeping us from letting it go, it is not good to take it with us into each new day. I am being still murdered, so I am still having to look for one person who is going to stop the man doing it. God will, but I need my feet directed and wise council.

I don't feel anything from the mother, no remorse for failing to be there for her daughter, I know. Cause my daughter was molested and I didn't know but as soon as she could verbally show and tell me what Daddy was doing, I just waited for him to pull up. I didn't have a gun, and I tell you what I did wrong, don't call nobody and think they will help. the best way to handle it, is to be the only one that ever knows, so there is no motive. I hate that he is the good guy, I was erratic is what they called a hysterical mother, who knew it was my fault he had had access to my daughter, I immediately got pregnant after she was born by him, who told me he was sterile. Then, after, I find out members of his family knew it had happened in his previous marriage and yet not one of them warned me for my daughter and no one ever was beside me in court. I fought standing alone of mankind. I wish I had known the reality of this world's corruption. How did I get to be the one they hate now and they both love the parents that were no where to be found or the cause of it. Or, I was already too messed up by life before they came and I didn't plan it either, I loved them both, and I did the best I could, way more than another would ever have done alone when I couldn't get help. People followed me out of court the day I lost trying to get my daughter back too, and the judge gave her back to her alcoholic father and a stepmother who had never wanted her. I smoked a joint at night, and so they took my children, . Then years later I get to hear the guardian ad litem tell me if I had not tried to get justice for my daughter, I would not have lost her. ????? am I am crazy? No, the world is.
