- A Brigham Young University - Idaho devotional address by Ruth L. Renlund entitled “Sacrifice Brings Forth the Blessings of Heaven”, given on October 22, 2023 at the BYU-Idaho Center.
Those were both awesome talks!! Thanks, Elder and Sister Renlund!
Wow! Powerful devotional!
How lovely Sister Renlund is - she touched my heart. I want to relisten to both of these talks. Thank you for posting addresses made at BYU-I so that we can all be enriched. In some ways, students get more meat than we are all able to get in General World Conference (though I am an avid footnote reader and find lots of meat there) because these kids have been solidly raised in the Gospel and have a greater depth of understanding already, in addition to being a special generation.
Thank You, 😂 dear sister, WE, all need more FAITH. WE, are SO Blessed.
Amazing. Worth a second and third listen!
My eyes are open and I will harness the full potential of God's power.
Man, I learned so much! Thank you.
This is an amazing and clear explanation of the covenants
I think I will be able to listen listen again. I loved hearing Pres Relund and the sister who spoke first
My gav line in the whole CHURCH
Ruth linda! É um prazer ouvi-lá. Sacrifício obediência se tornam parte do caminho da mortalidade, tem umas partes curvadas, e se torna leve com o Espírito .Acho que é assim que o Senhor faz .
wow.
the primary speaker is Elder Renlund. The video title should reflect this.
29:45 But if you live in a strict sense of obedience alone without understanding the reality that we need a Savior, Jesus Christ, then you will lack understanding of the full truth.
The Doctrine of Jesus Christ is for all of us to repent. How are the fruits of repentance manifest apart from obediance?
Didn't Jesus invite saying:
"If ye love me keep my commandments?"
-John 14: 15
The times I have enjoyed the blessings of the Atonement of Jesus Christ most, also are the ones that I have strived to be more obedient to His commandments.
Just as we do not understand that we need food until we are hungry, we do not know we need obedience until we have felt the call to repent.
