I was just reminiscing about having seen this back in the day and how I had recorded it onto VHS - tape sadly lost and nothing to play it on at any rate. I love this performance of a stunning song.
i'm probably one of their youngest fans, but their music has always spoken to me, even when i was a child. this is one of my all time favorites! can't wait to see them in august!
@Dogleg987 Your comments match mine in a life affirming way. Someone else out there got caught up in this too. After watching it at the time, I got the album, and found the original a bit subdued. Grew to love it, in its own way, but to me this is the performance that brings the song to life
@Dogleg987 Same. I still have this on VHS somewhere, but don't have a player to watch it on! This performance is what got me into CH, at the age of 15. I remember raving about it in a letter to a girl I was chasing at the time, heheh! I bought Together Alone on the back of it, and like @kirkwallboy I found it a little lacking compared to this amazing version.
this is really an epic performance, very warm sounding like the album version.Neil just rules the planet
I saw it as Broadcast! A amazing version live !

You don't often see Neil jump around. He is enjoying all the percussion and so am I.
FANTABULIFIC to the millionth degree!!!! I LOVED this! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This is epically trippy and I love the fact they got the percussion in on this on.

The best
Excellent..
This was about the time Paul Hester suddenly quit the band and they had to draft in a replacement at short notice - Peter Jones I believe?
Correct. Peter has since, sadly, passed on.
