Literally the best gig in the world, for a few years in the early 90’s they were untouchable. Great songs, great live reproduction, personality, craft, showmanship and fun... I miss them.
@@stevewatson8969 I like Time on Earth a lot and all the follow ups. But the magic that was there through Everyone is Here before Paul died...a little bit of it died when he did. Together Alone was CH's pinnacle. What a magnificent, inspired album.
Rediscovering CH during this pandemic and discovering amazing gems like this one. Such great music, musicians. Love the ease and camaraderie when they're onstage. RIP Paul.
I watch these videos over and over with pleasure, but just today this one had a certain emotional old fool in floods of tears - no idea why but what wonderful, timeless magic!
Everything about that night looks just pure magical, the joy they radiated.. and listen to paul with those beautiful harmonies #lovethis.... oh how we miss paul so :)
Fantastic stuff, In 1994 I was queueing up to see CH at Whitley Bay Ice Rink in the UK, a very nice security guard let me in to go to the loo and I managed to hear 'Catherine Wheels' being soundchecked. It was absolutely amazing. More of these please!! Great work Peter.
AWESOME! Anyone know what the songs about? Where can you get the TABS? When he breaks into "she's gone..." I STILL GET CHILLS then misty! Then the jazz outro usually brings me out a bit.
Anyone know what the first chord is?! It seems to alternate between one chord, and then an Em. But it's tricky to work out quite what he's playing. This sounds OK but I'm not sure it's right... E: 0 B: 1 G: 0 D: 4 A: 3 E: 0
Pauly singing harmonies? He was awesome. If I had a time machine.....
I especially love his harmonies in this song. His voice blends perfectly with Neil's. Beautiful!

I wish someone out there was making music like this now
sadly @@elizabethburns3928 even they're not making this kind of music anymore.

Possibly the best track on Together alone🤘
Beautiful song performed by 4 master musicians
Masterpiece
A beautiful gem of a song...vocals and rich sound + slide guitar.
Catherine Wheels is a good tune. I don't remember whether it was influenced by St. Catherine and her torture on the "wheel."
Love these Peter. ITs been awhile since the Time on Earth tour, I get my CH/Neil fix by watching these. Thank u !×
Glad you enjoy them Mary. All the best.
