2024 Individual Quarterfinal Workout #3 Crossfit 2nd Attempt

  • I wasn't sure how 24 hours of recovery would feel in this workout. I didn't feel particularly sore after this one. More so legs from the other 3 workouts. I figured if I did everything the exact same and eliminate my 90 seconds of mistakes that it would yield 3-4 reps more. My calculations were correct. I did have 1 failed rep unfortunately which would have put me at 17 rings. Either or, I feel this was a better attempt even if it wasn't a perfect execution. For Time, 3 rounds of 10 Handstand Push Ups, 20 Toes to Bar, 2 rounds of 10 Strict Handstand Push Ups, 5 rope Climbs 15ft, 1 round of 10 chest facing Handstand Push Ups, 20 ring muscle ups. Time Cap 15 minutes, finished Cap+4(3 more reps from yesterday) RX.

    good job. im trying to get one ring lol. my shoulders can be questionable. the first round will be fine. the second round of strict, 2nd set worries me a little bit. when i hit a wall i hit a wall and end up doing singles every 20 seconds or so. if that happens early ill be screwed. in all likelihood ill have to do that for my last 2 or 3 strict hs, but hopefully not earlier. the wall facing i can do unbroken. i dont understand why these are always tiered as though they are harder..... and then the rope climbs. they will take me a good 90 to 120 seconds each. im short and not a great rope climber. so if i hold up, ill have a couple minutes to get rings or i literally could get stuck on strict hs for a while and take long on rope climbs and never even make it

      I'm not really sure how that works actually. Maybe? I don't really think of it in terms of that. If me posting videos to help out and give back provides monetary gain, cool, if not, also cool.

      All sets I pull my self up to then get a full swing of momentum. That's completely fine since that isn't the start of my actual rep, but rather a set.

    Handstands are an absolute joke for you haha needless to say you don’t need to work on them 😂
