Thank U Capt Dean ,,, All that Information is So Useful to those Aspiring to Improve their Fishing ( Lures ) Game ,,, As U Truthfully Say : “ It’s a Game & A Sport “ Appreciate U Dean 👍🏻🆙🐟🇺🇸✨
Excellent stuff Dean. I’ve been a fan of the Kwiggler paddle tails on that bay system. I’m going to switch it up to the ball tails and see how it works.
Another excellent video, good interpretation of tactics and tackle details. I fished around Stedman on Friday (Jan 20th) in a howling east wind and Bosco/moca turbid water, no strikes. Tried two other park-and-wade spots and returned to Stedman, nada. Almost dropped by your shop to say howdy, but kept fishing, caught tons of futility, and returned to San Antone, whipped.
@@slowrideguide I did and do, and to check the weather forecast for AP, CC, and Rockport in advance to check the radius of my accessible spots. Or just charter with you.
Those are some good tips at @11:40 about the rigging stuff. 👍 Helped me realize with this saltwater fishing thing, it can easily be a game where the water column is compressed but that's how you grind it out (work it near the top like you said, or maybe slower and let the jighead sink to that 1 foot depth... Great advice.💯

I fish the paddle tails with a more consistent swimming motion… With the ball tails I tend to jig it and bump the bottom more often
This is very informative and captivating. I’ve seen many but you’re on point! Thanks for your time and input! 🎣🔥

Great episode!
Thanks man
We often find a good red or two amongst the 700 dink trout in the lights … we figure gotta make a lot of mouths sore before the reds try it 😂
Good advice. I was judt fishing that exact area last week for my first time. Didnt catch much
Really Enjoyed the Video Dean👍, which green rod are you using? I know they have 3, finesse, Classic and Corky
The Corky is my favorite…however the Classic and the Finesse are both fine rods
Awesome episode really enjoyed it. In redfish Bay what’s is the average depth and how deep are the holes that you’re fishing?
Average depth on normal tide is about three feet….the holes are about one foot deeper than the grass beds

The Shimano spinners are in the 2500 or 3000 series… And I use a variety of models
