forreal! hearing ned & ariel’s story always gives me red flags (just because of my personal experiences with moving too fast, never been married but have definitely got too serious and moved in with partners way too quickly.) BUT their relationship is proof that it always doesn’t end badly. i definitely wouldn’t recommend it to other young people in relationships just because a lot of toxic people are good at hiding their true intentions until they have you hooked, but ned & ariel are obviously sweet, kind, & loving people and i’m so glad they found each other because they easily could’ve moved too fast with somebody else who doesn’t have the same hearts as them.

In my country (Egypt), and most arab countries, we wear the wedding bands mainly in our day to day, not the engagement ring. So in our engagement parties we exchange wedding bands and an engagement ring for the woman. We wear the wedding bands on the right hand, and in the wedding we then change them to the left hand. But I do like that here the guys too get wedding bands to wear at the same time as us, it feels nice to both have rings showing our commitment ❤

@@mangachick27 Both of our rings were family hand me downs, mine is a white gold band with a single large moissanite (like fake diamond) rock in it from my great-grandmother, my fiancé's ring is a gold ring with a large flat top and a small ruby in it (ruby is his birthstone so the ring always meant a lot to him) handed down from his grandpa :) I find mens rings are so gorgeous nowadays and you can definitely find affordable rings with nice meanings (lots of stones and bands to choose from). OKay but Becky is literally the cutest! And Maggie is so adorable and gorgeous, like she genuinely looks like a model. Ariel is so youthful and has this beauty that I think will continue to show even in old age. Rachel (?) is so pretty too! She's gives this very respectable authority feel, but she seems super sweet and down to earth at the same time. All in all, Zach, Keith, and Ned have incredibly gorgeous wives and an amazing producer. And Eugene and Matt just match each other so well! You can see they really love each other, and I feel like they're both very calm and collected, but at the same time very different. Eugene is very spontaneous while I feel like Matt likes to plan ahead. Eugene can act kinda dark and edgy, whereas Matt seems like this ball of sunshine. All in all I think they balance each other out well, and I'm glad each of the Try Guys found someone who balances them out so well! CONGRATULATIONS ZACH AND MAGGIE!!!!
I love this podcast. The Guys are great, but theirs make me feel like I’m watching a performance, which isn’t what I look for in a podcast. This podcast makes me feel like I’m sitting in on the conversation of my older sisters or something. It’s something very comforting about it. I’m glad they’re getting more views.
I'm way older than probably anyone here (I'm 65), but this is a chance for me to get together with my "daughters" and listen to them chat. They bring back so many memories of when I was their age and I love being a vicarious part of their life and their happiness. And I feel like a bit of a mother hen to them all--and NOBODY (and I mean nobody) better hurt one of my little chicks.
I feel like guys personalities are "performers" that's why they do great in videos and maybe not as well as girls in podcasting world. It's just my opinion but podcasts that feel like you tune in for a coffee talk with a friend are the best
I was humoured by hearing how surprised you all were that Zack had the ring for 8 months - Which is a long time! My now fiancé bought the ring - hold on to your hats - TWO YEARS! before proposing! I am amazed with how he could keep it a secret for so long! So yeah, like Maggie, I am also got pandemic proposed - an absolute surprise during a trip to Iceland! One of the few countries Danish citizens could travel to. It was great listening to Maggies emotions which I can so much relate to (standing int he kitchen suddenly jumping in his face screaming "WE'RE ENGAGED!") and reliving the first couple of days of engagement

@@mangachick27 Both of our rings were family hand me downs, mine is a white gold band with a single large moissanite (like fake diamond) rock in it from my great-grandmother, my fiancé's ring is a gold ring with a large flat top and a small ruby in it (ruby is his birthstone so the ring always meant a lot to him) handed down from his grandpa :) I find mens rings are so gorgeous nowadays and you can definitely find affordable rings with nice meanings (lots of stones and bands to choose from). I am so excited for you Eden!

Maggie is so relatable “no no no” “I didn’t know what to do so I just ate bread” when my husband proposed I thought he was joking. I was pretty sure he had bought a ring but he had it in a tuque (beanie winter hat) in his coat pocket (we were hiking in feb in Canada) so I couldn’t feel the box when I hugged him, so he got down on one knee and pulled out the hat and I thought he was faking as a joke like Jim did when he tied his shoe on the office just to keep me guessing so I said “I hate you.” Jokingly and then he pulled out the ring box. He won’t let me forget that I said I hate you the day we got engaged 😂

As someone who got engaged right before everything really hit in March, it did NOT slow down all the questions. People still ask when is the date, have we started planning, how many people do we want, etc. Then there are a *LOT* of people just assuming they will be invited even during this time. It's ridiculous.

OKay but Becky is literally the cutest! And Maggie is so adorable and gorgeous, like she genuinely looks like a model. Ariel is so youthful and has this beauty that I think will continue to show even in old age. Rachel (?) is so pretty too! She's gives this very respectable authority feel, but she seems super sweet and down to earth at the same time. All in all, Zach, Keith, and Ned have incredibly gorgeous wives and an amazing producer. And Eugene and Matt just match each other so well! You can see they really love each other, and I feel like they're both very calm and collected, but at the same time very different. Eugene is very spontaneous while I feel like Matt likes to plan ahead. Eugene can act kinda dark and edgy, whereas Matt seems like this ball of sunshine. All in all I think they balance each other out well, and I'm glad each of the Try Guys found someone who balances them out so well! CONGRATULATIONS ZACH AND MAGGIE!!!!
I love this podcast. The Guys are great, but theirs make me feel like I’m watching a performance, which isn’t what I look for in a podcast. This podcast makes me feel like I’m sitting in on the conversation of my older sisters or something. It’s something very comforting about it. I’m glad they’re getting more views.

The guys are so boring
I'm way older than probably anyone here (I'm 65), but this is a chance for me to get together with my "daughters" and listen to them chat. They bring back so many memories of when I was their age and I love being a vicarious part of their life and their happiness. And I feel like a bit of a mother hen to them all--and NOBODY (and I mean nobody) better hurt one of my little chicks.
I feel like guys personalities are "performers" that's why they do great in videos and maybe not as well as girls in podcasting world. It's just my opinion but podcasts that feel like you tune in for a coffee talk with a friend are the best

I had gotten a ring for my fiancé and proposed to him after we talked and he mentioned how nerve wracking it felt with all the pressure placed on men to propose first and I “jokingly” but seriously proposed to him during Christmas 2019 and now 8 months later during COVID he tricked me and pretended to take me to take pictures of the sunrise early morning and really had set up a video recording of him proposing(!) I was completely blown away and surprised 🥺💖
