forreal! hearing ned & ariel’s story always gives me red flags (just because of my personal experiences with moving too fast, never been married but have definitely got too serious and moved in with partners way too quickly.) BUT their relationship is proof that it always doesn’t end badly. i definitely wouldn’t recommend it to other young people in relationships just because a lot of toxic people are good at hiding their true intentions until they have you hooked, but ned & ariel are obviously sweet, kind, & loving people and i’m so glad they found each other because they easily could’ve moved too fast with somebody else who doesn’t have the same hearts as them.
I think they got engaged after dating for three years...

In my country (Egypt), and most arab countries, we wear the wedding bands mainly in our day to day, not the engagement ring. So in our engagement parties we exchange wedding bands and an engagement ring for the woman. We wear the wedding bands on the right hand, and in the wedding we then change them to the left hand.
But I do like that here the guys too get wedding bands to wear at the same time as us, it feels nice to both have rings showing our commitment ❤
My husband and I both had engagement rings because he also wanted one. He's Dutch, and it's apparently pretty common there as well.

My fiancé asked calm and casually while we were in the shower... just “hey we should get married.” And we had had that kind of conversation before so I didn’t think much of it, until he got out, got on his computer and asked what kind of ring I wanted. Ariel genuinely looks so excited and amazed when listening about Zach's proposal. Her childlike expression just tells me that she's a good a listener and someone everyone's wanna be friends with.
Maggie is so relatable “no no no” “I didn’t know what to do so I just ate bread” when my husband proposed I thought he was joking. I was pretty sure he had bought a ring but he had it in a tuque (beanie winter hat) in his coat pocket (we were hiking in feb in Canada) so I couldn’t feel the box when I hugged him, so he got down on one knee and pulled out the hat and I thought he was faking as a joke like Jim did when he tied his shoe on the office just to keep me guessing so I said “I hate you.” Jokingly and then he pulled out the ring box. He won’t let me forget that I said I hate you the day we got engaged 😂

As someone who got engaged right before everything really hit in March, it did NOT slow down all the questions. People still ask when is the date, have we started planning, how many people do we want, etc. Then there are a *LOT* of people just assuming they will be invited even during this time. It's ridiculous.

When my husband and I were still dating, he bought me a “promise ring” type thing after a year. The ring was a unisex silver band with a beautiful Celtic design. When he proposed, I wanted to give him a ring too, so I thought it would be cute to give him the promise ring he had given me. We got married two years later, and now we have the ring with a bunch of sentimental things we’ve saved in a shadow box for our future children. ❤️

OKay but Becky is literally the cutest! And Maggie is so adorable and gorgeous, like she genuinely looks like a model. Ariel is so youthful and has this beauty that I think will continue to show even in old age. Rachel (?) is so pretty too! She's gives this very respectable authority feel, but she seems super sweet and down to earth at the same time. All in all, Zach, Keith, and Ned have incredibly gorgeous wives and an amazing producer. And Eugene and Matt just match each other so well! You can see they really love each other, and I feel like they're both very calm and collected, but at the same time very different. Eugene is very spontaneous while I feel like Matt likes to plan ahead. Eugene can act kinda dark and edgy, whereas Matt seems like this ball of sunshine. All in all I think they balance each other out well, and I'm glad each of the Try Guys found someone who balances them out so well! CONGRATULATIONS ZACH AND MAGGIE!!!!

YESS!!! I'm a woman and proposed to my fiancé (male), and we both have engagement rings. It honestly was such a lovely thing, and it felt so equal :) We're getting married next month in a courthouse and I can't wait! Although neither of us are party people. I can definitely relate to Maggie!

@@mangachick27 Both of our rings were family hand me downs, mine is a white gold band with a single large moissanite (like fake diamond) rock in it from my great-grandmother, my fiancé's ring is a gold ring with a large flat top and a small ruby in it (ruby is his birthstone so the ring always meant a lot to him) handed down from his grandpa :) I find mens rings are so gorgeous nowadays and you can definitely find affordable rings with nice meanings (lots of stones and bands to choose from). I am so excited for you Eden!

As someone who works in jewelry, engagement rings specifically, “man-gagement” rings are totally a thing! Congratulations Zach and Maggie!!
Yeah, the fact they were so hesitant about that was really puzzling to me? Like, in this day & age, still...?? 🤔 Especially given they're hanging out with the guys, who seem to be super open to pretty much anything? 🤷🏻♀️

When my friends got engaged, she doesn’t like rings so he proposed with a necklace and she got him a ring because they both wanted something. Then when they got married they tattooed the wedding rings on.

When my husband proposed, my response wasn't much better. He said "Will you marry me" I replied "I never thought of that". I think it was because I didn't think he could love me enough to want to marry me. I definitely married "up".

My now fiancé bought the ring - hold on to your hats - TWO YEARS! before proposing! I am amazed with how he could keep it a secret for so long!
So yeah, like Maggie, I am also got pandemic proposed - an absolute surprise during a trip to Iceland! One of the few countries Danish citizens could travel to.
It was great listening to Maggies emotions which I can so much relate to (standing int he kitchen suddenly jumping in his face screaming "WE'RE ENGAGED!") and reliving the first couple of days of engagement
I'm sad to see Ariel got left out when Becky said she became super close with Maggie. I love Ariel because she has a heart of gold
They asked her but she was busy she said she texted it to the group chat but they were all busy except Keith and Becky they have lunch at Maggie and Zachs home
Well Becky meet Meggie first and was close with her before ariel even meet her I think that's why they are more close
Also, I believe Ariel was pregnant here so that means she was probably being cautious about going out so often
