@@dtharmo The levelling is automatic. You only have to adjust the first layer once. The build volume is 18x18x18cm, which is a bit small - but it's a small printer... I have a Prusa i3Mk3 at work that I use if I need to print bigger things. But for the price, the MINI is a great machine.
I’m gonna buy that complete set of service notes on hard copy someday, I think it’ll cost about 600$, with a lot of German to translate. My great grandmother Stoltz would be proud since my Lutheran family hasn’t preserved any German heritage since the Reformation days. It’s more than electronics theory to learn there, it’s a Language learning course for Rammstein fans too!…. Someday.
Hey! Just discovered your channel! Thank you for sharing your amazing work. I was wondering if I could ask, where do you typically source your jacks and pots? I have a lot of trouble finding vertical through hole versions, so I mostly stick to just wiring them to the PCB after mounting them to the panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you again greatly for all your work!
The jacks are called Thonkiconns (or PJ398SM) and you buy them from Thonk in the UK. They also have the Alpha pots RD901F (but they can be found on Aliexpress and a lot of other places as well)
Yogourt printing, love it !
I laughed when I saw your printer speed, what you call "slow" is lightspeed compared to mine 😂
Nice episode as usual !
I'm waiting for the Shaper Input version of the software to be released - the beta is out but I'll wait for official release. Need for Speed 😉
Yeah that prusa mini is tempting me a lot, I'm only a little afraid of the maybe too small surface.
Is the leveling auto or easy ?

Thank you for this most educational videos. This rimshot series is awesome! Helps me tons to make use of academic theory into reality 😊
Thank you very much for your comment - that is exactly why I'm doing this series. I'm delighted that you find it useful.
Doepfer A100 specs page is my #1 open tab on my laptop. Even after doing so many panels, I still always double check.
I visit that page a lot too - here's so much useful information
