Don Brown wrote a fiction book named, "The Da Vinci Code." I first heard about Opus Dei in the 2000's. Frank Shaeffer, who use to be a big name in the Evangelical Church because of his father, brought this to light. It was on MeidasTouch. The Scaeffers were the ones who started that whole, "Abortion is murder," "Feminists are bad," has left the Evangelical church and has apologized for spreading these lies. He's a good Republican who is voting Harris/ Walz because he knows that we are dangling into fascism. There is correlation between Franco's Dictatorship in Spain 1930's and the rise of Hitler and Nazism. Both are far to the right.

I became well acquainted with Opus Dei. It’s a long story how it happened, but at one time in my life, I was drawn into them, having been their organist and choir director for their masses at the cathedral. This was over 30 years ago. At first, I only saw the beauty of their ceremonies, the reverence and respect that they showed, the intelligence and affluence they had. I was invited to formal dinners given at the Cardinals residence, which happened because of the generous amount of money they gave to the Archdiocese of Boston. They appreciated my work and were very generous to me ., being invited to do more and more for them, but had to keep my sexual orientation,absolutely secret. When they had arranged for me to marry one of their single members, it’s made me extremely uneasy. As I did more research on them, I found out that they founder, Monsignor José Echevaria, Was a pedophile. That was very securely suppressed. They had enough sway with the hierarchy at the Vatican, that they were able to push through his beatification and canonization. I realized it was a cult and Coincidentally, I had severe health problems and could no longer participate in their activities. When I finally broke free, even though I was very sick, I felt liberated.

Opus Dei is all over the world. As a child growing up in South America, in a catholic country, the name ‘opus Dei’ was whispered by the adults in the room. Years later, whilst living in Perú I was told by Nuns about that organization. Mostly what was said was told fearfully. I was told of the many top educators women, men Doctors, Lawyers etc., who were members. In the USA, around catholic clerics again the phrase was whispered…all very secretive. I left the c church years ago… still, I have run the other way when that name is mentioned. All I know is that it’s dangerous.

Opus Dei is very powerful and very scary. A friend of mine ran afoul of them in Europe 20 years ago. I will never forget how terrified he was. He was literally afraid for his life.
I’ve ordered it! I’ve had contact with Opus Dei as a child in the 60s in Ireland. My father was invited to have coffee after mass one Sunday. He was medical and I reckon they thought he would be a useful member. My father was critical of the church however so he wasn’t invited back. Dodged the proverbial bullet there! What I remember was that the Opus Dei house was in a up market area and I came away with a feeling that this was a bit scary. It reeked of power and money.
People forget that Catholic Church and Protestant Church were mortal enemies for many years. There’s a reason for that. It seems that the Catholic Church has absorbed many Protestant denominations.

I haven't watched the reading yet, just the preamble, but I'm already so excited. I have commented on two or three videos I have watched in the past week saying this. I truly believe Vance is the one they want. He has been groomed for this, and I believe they are just praying at this point that Trump can stay upright until the election and bring in the votes. If, God forbid, he does, he will not be around for long. I believe they are doing their best to keep trump from doing maximum harm until the election. It's truly a "Weekend at Bernie's" scenario. Our DIL recently told us about her Opes Dei experience, when she was in grade 7 went to a church camp with a friend, turned out it was an entire weekend of not being able to talk. In grade 8 she served at a weird diner then her Mom thankfully said never again.

It was from that book that I first became aware of Opus Dei, and a very dark thread concealed within the vatican banking system and its political tentacles. During the VP debate, Vance (to me) came across with an insidious aura. There's deception coming from him. Aside from the fact he's changed his name 3 times, aside from the fact 7-8 years ago, he told Megyn Kelly he had no plans to go into government (Kelly interviewed Vance and Usha when she was still in the Today Show and his book came out), he tells half truths knowing he's deceiving people. He goes from no political background to VP candidate in 7-8 years. He's a willing, active participant in Thiel's overall plan.
He supports a national abortion ban. That is unconstitutional. It treats ♀️ different from ♂️ because only the ♀️ reproductive rights are restricted and they face criminalization. ♂️ reproductive rights are not restricted and they don't face the fear of criminalization. Also, it breaks international law because it's denies that person's rights to healthcare, especially in the life and death situation of the biological mother.
That's why it is important to separate church (beliefs) and state (laws). There are religions that don't eat pork, but you don't see their believers trying to ban pork to stop someone else from eating it. The vocal Christians, in America, say if they don't like something then no one else can have access to it and that's wrong and Vance knowingly supports that. Their beliefs shouldn't supercede another person's rights.
I'd argue that Vance is more nefarious because he's more intelligent than Trump. His tone may be calm but his words are deceptive, just like Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. They give off major ick vibes.
The architects of Project 2025 and the dark money have access to Vance and I'd argue he's doing their bidding willingly.
Vance disrespects the people by not answering the question, "Did Trump lose the 2020 election?" Respect people enough to tell the truth. He supports a national abortion ban, but never answers the direct question.
Vance's ties connect to Peter Thiel and Leonard Leo who have connections to Josh Hawley and Harrison Butker. Their goal is to have America led only by a ⚪️♂️✝️🇺🇸.
Their plans are doomed to fail because they never owned the land. The ancestors of the original custodians and the ingenuity of the African people helped create America. Left to their own devices this ⚪️♂️ utopia they have planned won't work. It's alarming that Trump was even allowed to be on the ballot because 6 SC justices gave him his own personal version of "affirmative action" to keep him on the ballot in Colorado.
Some of the words Vance has used to talk about his wife, her mother and his kids... let's just say if he doesn't act like he respects them, he won't ACT like he respects the general public. He's shown he doesn't respect the general public when he failed to answer a direct question.
Also, as VP, he has no Constitutional or legal right to return slate electors back to the states. He's admitted he will NOT uphold the law, the Constitution in deference to Trump (Thiel, Leo). That is scary power to have over people. We know what happened in Germany in the 1930s/1940s. It's unimaginable that the US could allow history to repeat itself.
I didn't allow it. The general public didn't allow it. We The People have been lied to and deceived for decades. I have voted and lived an honest life. I have prayed and stayed true to what is good. And I will become part of the collateral damage if this darkness comes to fruition.

I have been seriously wondering when or if Bill Barr's shenanigans will ever be publicly investigated. "Shenanigans" is a nicer word than I would prefer to use regarding Barr's dodgy behavior. 🕸

After DJT was shockingly elected in 2016, I asked Spirit who else I needed to watch that is also underestimated. I was given two names - Netanyahu and Erik Prince. He gives a comprehensive history of Opus Dei, starting with Spain's Franco in the 1920's. It has become thoroughly embedded with the Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation. Its tentacles reach into all levels of government in the US and elsewhere.
Truly scary.
