First of all the horses are different then when he puts the horses back to back when he solves the puzzle the horses look as if they were running..
Thank you for the answer. I have had this puzzle on plastic pieces I got for Christmas MANY years ago and never solved it.(I don't believe I tried hard enough!)

My grandma once gave me a paper version of this puzzle. It's pretty cool and I love letting people try and solve it

@@fyriamthorks8104 in minecraft, naming any mob "dinnerbone" makes the upside-down. Hence, horses can be ridden upside-down if you named it "dinnerbone" using a name tag

Yeahhhh. This ones better than a lot of 'outside the box' solutions Ill give it that, but it still feels more like playing a game with your annoying cousin who just makes the rules up as he goes along than an actual puzzle. And actually the more I think about it the less I like it lol.
Everything new is well-forgotten old! I had such a puzzle in my childhood and I was born in 1978)))
There's something so special about antique things like this. Just reminds you how humans have always enjoyed puzzle solving and brain games. No matter the gap in time, our ancestors are so close and connected to us no matter how much changes around us. I know 150 years isn't that long ago, but the world has changed so much even in that amount of time, and yet we're still so delighted by something as simple as this! I just love it!
They were far more curious and had everything to learn.
We make some cool stuff now, but it says something that things like this still have a similar effect after all this time
But look at us now all our entertainment nowadays is starting at our screens..it's a fastfood for the brain
