The itty bitty bag looks like it is the perfect size for an inhaler (for asthma). Having a bag for it to keep it easy to find and lint free inside your purse is so important. Perhaps you could market them that way? I love your videos and find them so helpful and encouraging. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
That's a great idea Dena. I'm going to try this. Thank you 😀
I just left that comment on the pattern video. I actually look for small bags like these because I keep my rescue inhaler clipped to the outside of my bag.
The dog poo bags also make great dirty diaper bags. If you use fabric diapers or disposable ones when on the go. Also, for hiking as carry in-carry out trash bags.
That's a great idea for hiking. 😀
Well I looked at your "bridal" bag and thought it looked uninspiring!! The you mentioned about doing more marketing and and nearly pmsl when I realized it was a bag for bridles!!! Its almost 2am here in England so I forgive myself 😂😂
Haha, most people think they were for brides as well. I even misspelled it the first time. That really confused everyone! 😀
I love your videos. Keep up the good work. Lots of love! 🍍
Thank you so much Anne 😀
I always enjoy your videos! Thanks!
Thank you. I'm glad you like them! 😀

Hi Christine, I love your videos and especially the sales updates. Everything you make is so professional looking, I’m not surprised that you manage to sell so much. Looking forward to the next video. Huggles from Wales UK x
Oh thank you! 😀
I love your channel and I love how positive you are. Greetings from Murgon in Queensland.
Thank you so much!😀
Thank you for your detailed pricing information.
You're very welcome Susan 😀
I think you can improve the itty bitty bag by adding a swivel lobster claw finding. By doing That it could be added to a backpack or purse.
That's a great idea Gloria 😀
Thank you SO much for explaining your hourly compared to minimum wage! Never considered differences in different country moneys. You’re helpful in so many ways. I love your videos.
You are so welcome Nana 😀
Thank you!
You're welcome Maggie 😀
Hi Christine. I have been anxiously waiting for your sales update and love that you share it with us. It was great to wake up in the morning and there it was, lol. Some surprises some not as usual but that is what keeps it interesting, right. I am thinking about doing the spanner rolls for crafters (needles and hooks, etc.) and artists for paint brushes. I was also going to do the itty bitty bags as a add on to the totes that could be clipped to the handles for putting in keys, cards, baby pacifiers, etc. Just some thoughts, they are too cute. Thanks again.
Thanks Judi. I was surprised my itty bitty bags did so poorly 😀
Wow, those larger cosmetic bags are classy! The metallic name badge really steps it up. Great work!
Thanks so much Paul 😀
That was very interesting, glad your shopping bags came top again, they are brilliant.I made a lot of those card holders for friends and they loved them. You did well with all your lovely items, they all look so professional, thanks for sharing
Thanks Eve. I'm keen to see how the vinyl bags go before Christmas. I've had lots of great feedback from those. 😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs yes they are beautiful you should do well with them
Thank you
You're welcome Cynthia 😊
I can't wait to see how to make the bigger cosmetic bags! They are really nice looking! Great Job Christine!
Thanks Georgy. Coming soon. Just waiting for my hands to heal up 😀
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs Praying for a quick recovery for you! Blessings to you for all that you do!
Hi Christine, thanks for the update. I recently made a few bucket hats. At a conservative $15 materials and $30 per hour time. I would have to sell at $75. It takes a lot of time to do them with a professional finish. Definitely just for gifts and family.
I agree Sue. They're great to make for family and friends, but as a business, it's very hard to get a return for your time 😀
Thank you for putting your sales numbers out there. I convert everything to US dollars to get a better perspective. I'm debating on whether or not I should open up an online shop to sell some of my sewing and craft items. I want to do it to purge the supplies/fabric that I've been hoarding but not sure if the time, effort, and cost of the website would be worth it.
I question this myself all the time Mary. I pay for three platorms, but try to use as many free FB pages as possible. But they're a great landing place if you can get people to your sites 😀
Thank you for being so honest with how much you sell. Do you earn enough to make a living from your sewing? I’m in UK so I’m not sure how it equates to the cost of living. I think it works out at about £1500 per quarter, which would definitely not be enough to live on here in UK?
That's a great question Lynden. It is only part of what I do for a living, but it's all under the one banner. I'll mention this in my next video 😀
Oh my days Christine as a born and bread Uk gal hearing your say we going into spring and it’s almost Christmas in the same sentence is so discombobulating lol 😂
Haha, now try imagining Christmas Day at 39deg C (102 f) 😁
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs I seriously can't imagine it lol I have always thought I'd love to have a winter bolt hole to go to, to get away from the dark and cold but I'd always come home for Christmas. Have you ever experienced a cold Christmas? I find it really bizarre that AUS and NZ in particular could go their whole lives with hot Christmases but when that's all you know does it seem weird? I guess all the Chrsimtas movies are the only things showing what a 'Tradition Christmas' looks like. But for you guys, hot weather and beach BBQs are 'normal' at Christmas it's so mind-boggling lol
Australia dollar approx. speaking is 1.50 to $1 US dollar.
Yes, that's about right GK😀
Hello, can you pls provide me with the metal labels you use for your handbags. Who you get them thru. I really like them. Thanks
Lee, I've put the link in description box for both my label suppliers 😀
Could you show some ideas and patterns for a little book style sewing kit.
I made a matchbook type of book and stapled a square of felt and put 2 safety pins and 2 needles with 12 inches of black and white thread. I used a pretty card stock.
I'll add it to the list Stephanie. You may need to give me a prod though 😀
That sounds great Kathy 😀
Are the vinyl cosmetic bags lined?
Yes they are Lyn. Here's the link to the two tone bag video 😀ua-cam.com/video/9s3dVnZYVpg/v-deo.html
I see you have different tags on your products. Can you talk about them sometime.
I sure will Lori 😀
