***** Nash put on pretty good numbers even in his last season with the suns. Clearly out of his prime but he was still good. I think team chemistry would have been good if Nash was at PG. Then Howard would get the ball in better spots and he would have been happy with his touches.
I still to this day believe that Mike Brown was fired WAY TOO EARLY. yeah we were 1-4 but we started slow the previous year and got the 3rd seed. D'Antoni fucked EVERYTHING UP. VERY GLAD HE'S GONE!!!
Nash was close to 40, Dwight was coming back from a serious back injury, kobe, Pau and MWP were already out of their primes 🤷♂️ (2002-2010 KOBE, 2008 Gasol, 2005 Nash,Artest & 2009 Dwight would have looked way different! Oh well 🤷♂️)
I wouldn’t say pau was out of his prime yet because he made the all star team in 2015 and was the starting center for east all star team in 2016 for the bulls. He was just terribly misused by d’antoni who benched him and tried to make him a stretch 4 which at the time wasn’t the trend that it is now for pau’s size
So many ifs for this team if Nash would’ve just decided it was time to try something new 3-4 years earlier and Dwight just didn’t have all the back issues he had at this time who knows
This team looked so good on paper. But the chemistry was just awful. Kobe’s ego, mixed with Dwight Howard’s sensitivities, along with an aging Nash & Gasol and just injuries one after another. Bedsides all the drama, they just couldn’t stay healthy. A complete failure. This Lakers team has been at the very bottom now for sometime. Even with Lebron here. Smh
A roster like this was missing one key piece. Phil Jackson. Y'all can say that Phil wouldn't have made a difference but you don't know that. D'Antoni's system put far too much pressure on the older of LAL's Big Four. Phil's system would have focused a bit more on the younger of LAL's Big Four. If you don't know who I'm referring to as LAL's Big 4, it's Kobe, Nash, Gasol & Dwight.
dwight needs to nock down those free throws the lakers depended on him to knock down the easy inside post shots put the fouls shots he needed to knock them down - this is how the lakers should play not the way their playing now we need nash
I don't remember hearing people complaining/criticizing Dwight for signing with the Lakers like when Durant joined the Warriors. I think the Lakers with Kobe, Dwight, Pau, and Steve was way more of a "super team" than the Warriors with Kevin and Stephen. Who agrees?
n40798 this team had so much potential going in but I still think the warriors our a more superteam built around great shooters all in their prime .. I jus feel like if this was a young Kobe or Nash then this would have been a great team
I know this is old but this is one dumb take lol. This man really compared a 38 year old steve nash and a post back surgery howard joining the lakers to prime kevin durant joining the 73-9 warriors smfh.
this team had so much potential... if dwight wasn't injured the previous summer, if nash was 3 years younger...if phil was on the team.
+datxiecray if they had me celebrating from the bench...
on paper this team was so legit! beast.. too bad it didnt work out. It might have been Chris Paul and Kobe too if it wasnt nixed
This was a super team man... They just played so bad man.
They struggled but it was fun to watch them play
***** exactly
injuries and players not playing at their top level(aka dwight coward) and crap coach
Nestility
They original starters were only together for 27 games and they won 19 of those games
That was an old team but not a super team....nash was like 39, Gasol 35, World Peace 34, jamison 35 and Kobe 34...
Never lost a game on 2k12 with the lakers
BaccEnd Aski the year this team was made would have been 2k13
Yes sir 😂
If this team stayed freaking healthy they could have gone far.
This team could've been the best laker team ever tbh
Zayd Siddiqui If Howard played like his Orlando days and Nash like the PHX days they would have been great.

LakersDodgersChargersKingsTrojans I wish we were in that situation again, and not this one we are in right now
Lakers could have won if Dwight made some free-throws. They looked good in the beginning though
for some reason that first dunk that dwight missed gave me a bad feeling about my team afterwards
and the way he fouled out..
5 yearas ago

Whos here watchin in 2019
I'm just here to watch Nash. Oh it's 2020
So many ifs for this team if Nash would’ve just decided it was time to try something new 3-4 years earlier and Dwight just didn’t have all the back issues he had at this time who knows
from nash- bryant- world peace- gasol- howard to d-angelo- young- ingram- randle- black. lmao
Bronx B lonzo pg ingram kuzma capela
Now Lebron and Rondo
We back
To bradley green lebron Davis McGee
i remember those times were i thought La gonna win 3 or 5 rings because of Dwight 😂😂😂
If he played like he did when he was in Orlando, it would've been a done deal.
4:09 Nash set Gasol up PERFECTLY. He takes that shot if this play happens today. That's just how much the game has changed in just a few years.
Pau took a good amount of 3s back then and stretched the floor
Shout out to Miami, but these guys were the most OP team on 2k13. The 2k devs made it difficult 😂
They really gave this fool a high chair at the end....lmao!
MAN LOOK AT THAT LINEUP
At least he got a double double that year but is 2016 he sign with his home team Atlanta
Lol should have known how’d it go after Howard immediately missed the “wide open dunk” immediately to start lol
Man if they got together in 2011 would hve won the chip
This is depressing to watch...
The Lakers are gonna be really dangerous next season real talk.

i like mike brown's princeton offense rather than the pick and roll of mike d antoni.
Forget dwight if nash was healthy this team would've been amazing
One game they said, it would be fine they said..
Julian and here we are 5 years later still asking each other wtf is going on. I see no hope.
3-14 FT shots imagine if he was making all of those they would have won the game
Dwight looks so much better w/o the headband

I still don’t know how this team failed.
did this lineup reached playoffs?
@@alexilaiho8534Yes. but they sweep by SPURS 4-0 in first round
3:35
this is how they should use howard if they want him to stay
We miss Nash
dwight needs to nock down those free throws the lakers depended on him to knock down the easy inside post shots put the fouls shots he needed to knock them down - this is how the lakers should play not the way their playing now we need nash
put this team on 2k

dwight was traded

@gemitt22 the title says Nash and Dwight debut...so the focus is on them. Obviously.
Man Dwight is really a Dirty Player
howard non mette un tiro libero neanche in una vasca da bagno
give lebron, durant this team sure finals
SPORTS FAN Give Prime Kobe this team. This team would go to the finals year after year
RC248 Ikr
But can they beat 03-04 Lakers?
If both teams were in their prime then maybe.
Nash > Payton(barely)
Kobe = Kobe
Artest > George/Fox
Gasol < Malone
Dwight < Shaq
Kobe’s last finals run but did not work lol
Lalas ng lineup ng lakers dito
優勝できるチームだった
I thought this Lakers was exciting
fuck howard missed so many free throws
and those stupid arm sleeves he's playing dress up instead of basketball
Dwight Howard is not good at free throw
dh lsoe his athletesme
