No I think people are complaining because the actual figures are far from the manufacturer claimed ones. Autotopnl got 4.62 for the gt on the 0-100 with draggy and Ford claim 3.7!!! And the 100-200 was 50 seconds because it just dies after 100mph! Which if you had just bought the gt version would be very disappointing considering you will have bought it for performance. It was being driven on the autobahn and a 2.0 tdi skoda out accelerated it after 100mph!!
@@robertowen8281 That's the biggest problem with electric cars for me,incredibly fast acceleration but a terrible top speed,I have yet to see any electric car going over 160 mph,Tesla fans like to brag about 1/4 mile times but in a longer road even a Model S Plaid would get destroyed by any ICE sports car.
@@wendellnovais that’s not true actually, the model S plaid has incredible top speed and high end acceleration. its real fun. We have a gt Performance since over a year now and drove 44.000 km in that time (1 year + 1 month) I love the sound and the car and the screams of passengers when they feel the acceleration for the first time xD

it looks to be c.5 seconds using the UA-cam time stamp. With less room for driver skill/error to make much of a difference (I would have thought), this is a really disappointing real world time, isn't it?
Driver error in a car like this is near 0 because of the electric power train and all wheel drive setup. The Mach E GT has performed differently every time I drive it. Sadly.
Probably "Generous" range, parked it at 130mi left cold weather, and in hot weather it probably warmed the batteries up just a bit and brought up the range a few miles. Seeing as he's not too far from a middle class suburban neighborhood and he's driving a mach-e, i'd assume he's not too far from home so the mileage may not have dropped.
Other videos have this version in the mid to low 4's at a maximum on unprepared pavement so do not use this video as a judge. Motorweek did a 0-60 on a prepared drag strip and professional drivers and got the claimed 3.5: ua-cam.com/video/FqtWLoxASlA/v-deo.html
