People raid and buy everything from GE to max just for the 99 and it’s all bots supplying the items to max out buy able skills so basically mains are just raiding and or doing nex and very few bosses and then only maxing to get the max cape and never use any of the skills again basically. Jagex has removed one of the major things thing from runescape which was a seperate grind to acquire gear without the use of GP. they used to do this in many forms. i.e defender, torso, firecape, fremmy, nezzy helm, legends cape, slayer helm. all these old useful items you didnt need a lot of GP, but it was unlocked from a unique grind.
The problem is that DT2 bosses essentially replaced all content that came before it. Zulrah isn't even worth doing anymore. Vorkath is nearly the same, outside of Hydra, all other slayer bosses are dead content now. Even Hydra isn't nearly as lucrative as it was just 6 months ago. I understand that DT2 is hard but surely a boss that requires level 95 freaking slayer should drop at least on par with DT2 bosses. The time it would take you to grind to 95 slayer, you could finish 3 quest capes on this game WITH DT2. Jagex need to either nerf the DT2 boss drops to be in line with everything else or they need to buff the drops for Hydra and Vorkath, maybe Zulrah too but definitely Hydra and Vorkath.
With the vote for sailing passing I think a good item to watch is the Merfolk trident. I could easily see it gain some use cases with the expansion of the oceans.
Ya you trade the chaos runes in for Tokkul at the Tzhaar rune shop and exchange the Tokkul for onyx in the Tzhaar gem shop. Karamja gloves from the achievement diary lowers the cost of the onyx as well.

Like you're all complaining now, about bosses that actually take a small amount of skill where the wildy bosses can be done almost immediately. You might be able to make an account to kill them in a single day. Even Zulrah drops more per kill and that's from basically the games release.
I think loot tables need to be updated to drop just raw cash instead of loot worth the same amount. Like not just go to cash drops but to help keep so many items out of GE. Like the crazy 6 dragon legs drop, just drop cash. Or maybe go like a totem route like revs that can be traded in for coins.

These items are so incredibly rare and some people are so incredibly rich that if they decide to invest into them, they'll push them to max cash in no time AND multiply their bank value by several hundred percents.
I have around 2.5b cash laying around since I've been playing my Ironman, I think I might invest in a few of the 3rd age items u mentioned I agree they might go up
@@kevinmalone1820how tf do people get that much cash? Reading through the comments I’m starting to get that it’s mostly bossing but holy shit, I don’t think I’ve had more than 7m ever lmfao
@@GizerwizardI don't have a single 99, i can't access or kill any decent boss, but through the GE alone i'm sitting close to 3b too.
Some people just enjoy the osrs market lol.
I think trading on the GE is always going to provide the most daily profit out of any acitivity in the game, if we don't take into account luck factors for drops in pvm.
The best part about it is you don't even have to be actively playing to make huge profit.
I usually just chill on my ironman, and sit my normal account at GE. It's kinda like playing two games
@skylarhandley1115 lucky rng and bossing. Like I hit a 48m drop the other day thats 1/5k I was on kc 19
you can make 7m within a day just from low level bossing. once you get up to Nex with good gear, its not uncommon to be able to make ~150m per day if you're doing 86kc+@@Gizerwizard
I don’t play like I used to. I come back and chip away at my max cape and that’s about it. 5 months ago my bank value was 3b. It’s about 2.5b now. It personally doesn’t bother me, but it’s crazy how a few updates can change the entirety of the market. Kinda cool to see imo but it can affect a lot of peoples experiences while playing. Thanks for the video 👍🏼
its so awesome that there are osrs finance youtubers
Jagex has removed one of the major things thing from runescape which was a seperate grind to acquire gear without the use of GP.
they used to do this in many forms. i.e defender, torso, firecape, fremmy, nezzy helm, legends cape, slayer helm. all these old useful items you didnt need a lot of GP, but it was unlocked from a unique grind.
not true, look at the ancient sceptre and the upgraded rune pouch
Love the music selection bro
With the vote for sailing passing I think a good item to watch is the Merfolk trident. I could easily see it gain some use cases with the expansion of the oceans.
Sounds like a merch lol
because I bought a dragon hunter lance so ofc it's been dropping ever since...
didn't buy ancestral... and ofc it's gone up like 5x lol
Why does the price of chaos runes affect the price of onyx? Are you able to exchange one for the other somewhere outside the GE?
Ya you trade the chaos runes in for Tokkul at the Tzhaar rune shop and exchange the Tokkul for onyx in the Tzhaar gem shop. Karamja gloves from the achievement diary lowers the cost of the onyx as well.
@@MayOrMayNotBeWorthMentioning Good to know. Thanks for the reply.
@RubberChicken10000 its also like a passive 40m a week
@RubberChicken10000 but I didn't tell you that
How has Jagex not figured out that mass resource drops from bosses fucks up the economy? Didn’t they say the DT2 bosses would be more focused on rare unique drops instead of consistent resource drops like GWD?
Anyone else getting massive scam vibes from the sponsor or is it just me? The art world like the image showed is nothing like the S&B 500. If youve ever looked into art an taxes.... well im sure if you google that your world view on art an wealth will be changed 🤣.
I just... yer seems really fishy.
Because it is a scam
Great content 😊 thanks for the info
Cause bond prices are going up and bossing is the only way to really maintain a bond effectively. Bossing makes way too much money compared to skilling.
When are we going to get osrs options trading?
Been waiting for this video for a bit! Good stuff thank you for putting this together 😎
I wonder if the eldrich orb is going to spike again for the colosseum if it's going to work sort of like inferno.
Not too long ago they were 30m ea
@@redrepublic5557 they aren't going back that low again since people found out how good it is in inferno.
why do skillers always get screwed in pvm updates?
Brother if you are skilling trying to make gp you are doing it wrong 😂
Well with updates like these yea. lol No not really but it sucks to get mining up for example and all the ore from doing that dropping more than half in price. I just came back to OSRS so little rusty at pvm and PVP is hardcore now days. Well for me at least.@@Thegodholms
@@ThegodholmsWell considering skilling is a huge part of the game you'd think it would have some use 😂
because slave labor as gameplay isn't appealing to the majority of people who play video games
Slave labor? lol ok. Not saying end pvm I am saying make both useful some people enjoy skilling. Have you not heard of a skiller pure?@@mrburnout
thx for the vid, please tell me how the new account running through with bond will make profit? if you buy and sell a bond you get its worth in GE?
Hey Flipping, do you know why the O fang is at 25.7 mil? Is it going to continue to drop?
Made a iron couple months ago. So much fun. Don’t worry about prices just want the items. Feels good af
Really need to cover the absolute pump of Mole Slippers in the next update
one could almost say... the forgotten brews... are forgotten
Things crashed because I bought bonds and some decent gear (which is now worth about 250m less). Sorry y'all.
I’ve been waiting for this video for weeks.
They are opening the market for the new sailing items!
I sold my 3a axe for 500m a while ago.
RIP
The cheap boss gear is the only thing not spoiling my experience at the moment as bond price is so high i wouldnt have been able to afford a blowpipe or dfs usually
pick a solid 6-7b+ atm. Not many people selling, forums are heavily manipulated
Hope they buff Inquisitor’s someday. I don’t even have it so I’m not personally affected by the slow crash, if anything I could save up to buy it now. But it’s one of, if not _the_ coolest looking set in the game that is only obtainable by the best and dedicated PvMers, and it’s worse than Bandos, a mindless tank n spank, in practically any scenario
i love that i started playing again in the peak of pvm items ive lost so much
jagex has to ban boss bots
Good luck on your fight sir 🖖🖖🖖🇺🇸🇺🇸 I gave up on that battle years ago. Scape on
Seems like they constantly crash everything all the time. Masori body dropped like 8m in a day or 2 for no reason
If everything falls, why do items like Shadow and TBow not crashing? They seem to be standing at a solid 1.4b for quite a while now
Cause they’re outrageously overpowered compared to everything else in the game and they’re actually rare enough
Finally I missed these videos
Can’t believe I only now subbed to this channel. Bruh moment
Y’all better snipe inquisitor while it’s super low shits gona fly back up once valermore comes out
DH Lance in the thumbnail and didn't even mention it....... :(
Love your vids but that sponsor makes me feel a bit uncomfortable..
how do items over the 32 bit int limit work with selling, does it still work through ge, does it need trades, do trades allow more than 2.14... bil? it seems like quite the interesting scenario
You trade platinum instead, which you can buy and sell to the banks directly for 1k gold each.
ahhh interesting, i was wondering what the use case for that was and ig it just slipped out of my memory@@CausticTitan
I just wanna know where you all were when the wildy bosses came out. Imo they have an even worse for the game drop table but it was crickets from most of the community until after months of it when it was revealed there were hundreds/thousands of bots who farmed them til 6k-20k kc. Like you're all complaining now, about bosses that actually take a small amount of skill where the wildy bosses can be done almost immediately. You might be able to make an account to kill them in a single day. It's just shocking to me because the drop tables of DT2 bosses are pretty bad compared to most other bosses but they're getting hate? Even Zulrah drops more per kill and that's from basically the games release.
Someone explain why twisted bow was 800m this year and now 1450m?
the bonds increase was because of the 2 day sale for the 12 month membership last week.
This is reminding of how rs3 market works tbh.
That will ruin the GP worth tho
Still doesnt explain the bofa crash, i was merching them at 115m now they are close to 99m in within 5 days, what would have caused that crash?
Its botted heavily these days, as hard as that is for some people to believe.
Dragonfire ward is like 6mil now.
It should never be faster to get resources from a boss than from skilling, these drop tables are ridiculous.
Unfinished dragon bolts have dropped from just over 1k down to around 700 gp now, and with ancient essence dropping as well muspah has become a lot worse unless you hit venator shards since they went up dues to wisperer, but now those are starting to drop as well.
I bought 37k of them earlier in the year when they were 1.5K. monster L. Still holding on, have to imagine something sometime in the future will drive big demand for them and it'll pop again. Not even worth selling rn with a 60% loss rather turn them into bolts and use them on bosses
@@brandonswift8261 I bought a bunch of bolts a week ago ish since I'm pretty sure they won't go down much further and will go up again eventually and I'll just sell them off then
It’s sad that the majority of items are at shit value until they get blown up in value by updates only to fall back down later. Tbow, shadow, 3rd age and alchables at their floor seem like the only things that stay stable or increase in value in the longterm
My biggest complaint is cheese! You can't buy that on the GE NO MORE! Nobody sells cheese!
1:38 new member, i wish someone told me this. as a new member i have no money, would have benefited alot from 10m
Stuck on 113k uncut diamonds rn, lost 40m in unrealised gp.
U guys think they will recover or just take the loss? It seems as it is recovering a lil bit already😅
I bought 100k at 1469ea sold a lil under 1.9
Duke is so easy to get a perfect +50% loot and drops uncut diamonds so often I can't see them going back up
@@magnoleeus smart man, I will wait another month and then sell them I think. I never expected diamonds to drop that much, because of alch worth of the jewerly
Just keep them. Next big thing is sailing so it might go up........or crash. I'd just keep it. 40m isnt much tbh
Any suggestions on how to recover an account I remember very little details about? My old account got banned when I reported that it got hacked. That was like 10-15 years ago haha. I had multiple santa hats.

If anyone saw that Reddit post of some guy flipping a 3a axe for 450m profit, that was me, I am that guy. I kinda regret selling it for 1.85b cuz I could’ve kept it and made more but the instantaneous 450m profit was too good to pass up.
ok
Who asked?
Weirdo
@@andy.bernard why mad?
Haven't watched the vid yet. But iIm guessing everything is crashing because everyone is swapping their GP to deadman. Hence the panic selling and the mass drop of everything. Prepared to be wrong on this.
That sponsor is sus as hell. Sounds like a crypto scam.
It’s very, very sus. There are several mini documentaries about it.
As I type this, ge-tracker shows the most recent bond having sold for just over 9.8m.... the 10m bond will probably happen tonight, if not within a few days. Sadge.
edit: and August 3rd it was 7.1m, so it's up basically 3m in a month. Geez.
Surprisingly on rs3 there are hardly any bots at all compared to osrs
You forgot to mention Saradomin brew is almost 10k. It used to be 5k
I want a solo offline osrs where bosses don't drop supplies. I want to play an osrs where, if you want arrows, you need to craft them from their base materials
Isn't that ironman mode?
Except the boss drops, obvs, but prices won't matter then which I guess is what you're getting at.
I don't understand how a chaos room is keeping him onyx at its price and dropping price on cast friends would cause a drop in price in onyx's why
Every single month this channel releases two or three videos with clickbait videos like "WHY IS THE OSRS MARKET CRASHING", "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THE OSRS MARKET", "LEARN WHY ALL OSRS SHAREHOLDERS ARE KILLING THEMSELVES".
Then you open the video and it's just going through a few normal price fluctuations.
loronz key?
Wish they would sync inq because phosanis is a fun boss but you basically just lose money
they posted a update on the muddy keys to say they are 100% updating them... not speculating lol
I used a bond like 8 years ago, and recently bought a bond for 8.1m... it was rough grinding for it cause I remember them being 1m
Yep its a insane jump, but bossing nowdays are worth more money too
9.5m now really have to grind for that bond now@@purgepurgebr
Summer is ending
Someone has 100% figured out how to raise ge prices artificially.
I think gems will always have some time of higher floor due to being able to alch them
There’s a point where there are just more to be processed than there are people processing them. Addy ore is dirt cheap rn. Crafting addy plates is now really good profit and afk exp
bonds price could crash a little its a pain to work for as f2p
Imagine how cool the 2h 3rd age axe will look while holding it like an Obby Maul. I’m very glad I noticed it going up and picked one up, I called it going to Max Cash, if not more, I guess I was right, lol.
How much did u get it for? I almost got one around 1.4 but chickened out, idk if I should buy one now idk if it will go past max
@@kevinmalone1820 That’s really funny, I paid 1.4 lol. Pre-Forestry Release crash, though. I had a good feeling, so I held, still am. I would say Yes, it will go up when the 2h come out.
3b+ is possible, if it looks really cool.
They should try to take a long time & work on a major skilling update that adds a bunch of shit to a bunch of different skills containing new items areas & much more. Adding sailing & a bunch of cool items/content around that would be helpful as well
Or add a stable mid game boss like vorkath & Zulrah or two just since they have been losing value in killing
at the end of your video you are using the wiki money maker page to talk about the prices of duke and vard, but theres a note on those pages that their values are taken from the osrs GE prices, which are still wrong for the axe and most of the rings. Thus, rn, long term profit for vard is 10-12m which is also roughly what toa is rated to be for solo 300-400s. 10m for a long term dt2 boss is acceptable in my opinion, not worth for me to do if its not at a minimum of 8m.
So glad I sold the rapier
crashing? That dex prayer scroll which was 14 mil before raids 3, not only never recovered from the 34mil spike, but is now at 40mil. Me waiting thinking that it will eventually drop to 10mil for me to buy because it's a single use item per account now costed me like 25mil
Its probably because people are shifting around, i dont think its crashing crashing, this happens a lot in the real world, things will adjust later on, just take advantage of it, and buy stuff cheap, before people realize what they're doing isndumb😢
I lost everything on the rings. From 500m bank to 150m bank.
