When you nuked the piston/ rings. Were they aftermarket’s or oem rods/ pistons?

Forged drop ins from.mmx .was combination of pour 93oct and to much boost on my combo.but I knew I was on the edge for my combo and the limit for 93oct on my set up

I’m doing hellcat supercharger and I have forged pistons I purchased could I get away with 392 rods

depends on the power level and boost its best to just buy the forged rods and pistons 2618 as a set . the forged pistons for stock rods are pacific to be used with stock rods with just forged pistons on a stock 6.4 rod your limited to roughly 700 wheel give or take any more and your risking it . while if you just do the forged rod and piston combo from the start along with arp main and head studs your good to handle 1000 plus wheel
