This was quite interesting. One thing I noticed about the divorce papers was that it doesn't just indicate something negative about Einstein's private life but it also suggests something negative about the law in Germany and also most other countries at that time, where the only way to get a divorce was for one of the parties to be 'at fault', through having cheated or the like. This led to the perverse outcome where if no one was at fault and the reason for the divorce was nothing more than unspecified 'irreconcilable differences', the couple in question would basically have to LIE to the court (thus committing the crime of perjury) just to get their divorce finalized. That's one of the reasons why legal systems started to remove the requirement for 'fault' for divorces to be granted. Such legal changes mostly took place in the 1970s, with the change in Germany's law taking place in 1976. These days, divorcing couples would not be forced 'air their dirty laundry' of affairs and scandals in official court documents. They could instead keep their private business private, with the opportunity for such things to be forgotten by history!
People aren't really interested in personal life of Einstein But I think It will help them to understand the motivation behind his actions... Thank you soo much💕

THESE VIDEOS ARE GOLD! Please make more like them. 🙏
A scientific community gossip/private lives of scientists playlist would be great. :))
Thank you for this. We can pray for spirit of Mileva.
Great research!
I believe you are the kind of lady no real man would think to divorce or treat badly when truly appreciating a really smart lady who loves to do her own thinking!
I know it’s off the topic, but your English accent is so delightful. As a Ukrainian, who has been studying English for roughly 10 years and who has heard much a terrible English mistakes and accents from my classmates and also English teachers (that part was really disappointing) I just want to applaud to you for being such a miraculous person.
...that is a Kiwi accent, my man - but it is delightful, I agree!
I can’t imagine how it would be when people reviewing my private massage after I become legendary scientist and die! It would be horrific 🤣🤣!
I guess if you cheat on your wife, the smart thing to do is to treat her like a maid.
this is just part of the divorce process .. he would be happier if she didn't accept
@@tomservo5007 what do you mean?
Yeah, it was really demeaning considering his first wife Mileva was his intellectual equal, they were class mates at Uni. both being Physicists and she gave it all up to be a stay at home mom raising the kids.
Albert Einstein was all about the money.
@@MuantanamoMobile Also she was not credited for the part she played in "his work"
The last part of the video is what people need to understand, you have a good intellect and we meed more people like you . Really love your work.
I never comment or like any videos as i feel most of them dont think things through ,rather just say it bcz they feel its sounds intellectual or nice , they are unknowingly being kind of hypocrite , good to know some people are way above all this.
Judging by the title, I thought you will be showing his incomplete paper which could explain all of physics
@@bengrizzlyadams6187 he was writing a paper explaining all of physics but he passed away before completing it
The letters are not only driped in coffe, but also tea.
Wow, how times have changed! I love the timeline, it really helps understand. Great work as always Toby.
After watching the video Einstein be like :
*Don't make me come down there you punk!!*
Terrific video and thank you for the link to the original references

Again another big reveal... 😍😍Lots of love for Tibees... 💖
Your like makes my day💐
Hmm good 👍
Einstein to his wife: Nothing is absolute .everything is relative.
Her wife: Hold my divorce files .
@2:36 after hearing all that, sounds to me like he wants a maid more than he wants a wife.
My surprise is renewed each time, at how you make the things you find fascinating, fascinating to me also.
People aren't really interested in personal life of Einstein But I think It will help them to understand the motivation behind his actions... Thank you soo much💕
I reject the statement "people aren't really interested in .........."
++? That' he's a disgusting human being???
Best quote: Idolize ideas, not the individuals.
When i was this early to click a video, einstein was still married!!!
Impressive documentary. Thanks!
Okay I'm second because everyone is FIRST here! 🤷

This is absurd and meaningless
Your voice is so lovely and soothing
You are the best. Thank you for this.
:)
Toby, your voice is so ASMR. It's so soothing!
It might have been the only thing that got me through how vomit-inducing I thought the contents of some of the letters were.
Tibees, could you make a review of Mileva's life? She also was a physicist, one of the first women in science.
I love your videos, Tib
Love from kenya .Super content tibees🙏🙏
Toby I like your voice it is very vocal and soothing....
Love from India 😃😃.......
I'm always early when Tibees uploads a new video ;)
mileva deserved better
Greatings Tibees, are you going to review the Born-Einstein Letters?
This video gave us great insight into the social mind of Einstein, not much different than many famous people in Hollywood and elsewhere, all human beings with respective frailties. I''m sure that similar papers are possibly available for many other genius types who have so "impressed us" over the years. Thank you for the video.
As Mileva became more well-known, Einstein's circle panicked and are trying to belittle Mileva in her research.
The crucial point to be noted here is that rather than Einstein being a bad husband and a man, it is possible that Mileva, not Einstein, made the discovery that changed the history of physics. To ignore this point these days and present his as a bad husband and a man rather than someone who stole Mileva's work is to distort the point.
We often see people reading Mileva and Einstein's letters these days, but I think what they're doing is just trying to hide the truth.
Maybe, Einstein's insistence on divorce is to prevent Mileva from receiving any honors in his soon-to-be Nobel Prize and erase her name from history.
and it looks like he's done it for more than 80 years.
but the truth has a habit of coming out sooner or later.
Your voice is so soothing.
In the TV series Genius, he was portrayed as a bit if a jerk in his personal relationships. Apparently the writers read these letters too. Still a smart man. Many people we respect for what they do would not be so respected for the person they are. Look in the mirror before we judge.
Great content Tibees !! 😍
8:23 "That's her maiden name". Yeah... soon her legal name too
You're absolutely awesome, Toby!
"Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves."
― Albert Einstein
It's always a pleasure watching your videos toby
In Ireland we call a guy like that a bollocks.
You've got such a wonderful handwriting, Toby.
2 minutes in I’m pretty shook 😂
Even his handwriting is geometric perfection...
Did anyone else already asked yourself: "where the hell she gets this things?", or it's just my madness imagination? It not can be true. 😂
I wondered that immediately ! How did she got hold of such personal documents
I just thought the same. Like where tf she got that from? Museum?
@@excusemequeencomingthrough7684
Probably his house.
@@a.mo7a No way, no offense in your opinion. But how could they made his house for public? I mean cmon, are there any privacy for a genius scientist on the world like him? Think about it, lol my head gonna explode.
@@excusemequeencomingthrough7684
I'm not sure if it's real or not... but lots of deceased public figures' houses are open for public... It depends on their relatives' consent.
I love your channel
