Everyone should have to go back to college at least once a decade to remember how people are supposed to act and treat each other. Working one job every day with other perpetually disappointed so-called "mature" adults is far too often like living in a prison asylum.
How can someone be so pleasnt happy calm and cheered up while doing these extremely difficult assignments -i think it's a subject of research. I barely cleared college and I thank God each day if my life for finally able to pass the course and continue with the life. But these folks I am sure they will top the university.
Fun story: many years ago, a couple of geeky friends of mine got their hands on a high-voltage generator (a cascade multiplier that could generate arcs across almost 3 feet). I had the bright idea of putting a box of styrofoam packing peanuts on top of it and turning on the power. The first outcome was expected: the peanuts went flying everywhere. The second outcome was not: the peanuts acquired a charge and stuck to *everything*. In particular, the ceiling. It took us several hours to clean up!
My Physics teacher did this demonstration with us in junior year, and she showed us a picture of one of her former students with the best hair EVER. The kid had long, straight hair, and it was sticking straight out in all directions like a perfect sphere. It was incredible to see

Good on you all and good luck for your futures.

iamstoopid It isnt even a theory, not much than even a hypothesis. Its not an educated guess with proof, its just out of no where explanations that sound like they make sense, but are made on the fly. By that I mean is everything is on their favor so it sounds like it makes sense.
OneInfiniti MathBoi A theory is a generalized idea that is supported with substantial information AND, most importantly, is *WIDELY accepted* . Once upon a time, when people did not have telescopes and when people did not discover intercontinental sailing, the Earth being flat was a widely accepted theory, suggested by influential philosophers. Just as how people believed there were witches in Salem, the idea of the Earth being flat is one of them. In terms of today's understanding, it is no longer a theory, as it has been thrown out by the scientific community with concrete evidence. The beauty of the difference between theories and laws is that, theories can be proven wrong or evolve, while laws are factual explanations of phenomena with empirical evidence and physical observations.

It happens to me all the time on the treadmill when the air relative humidity is below 30%. Sometimes I accidentally touch the side arms of the machine and get a little shock, if its dark I can even see the spark, about 5 mm.
