Randomly saw this video in my feed. Was watching with it in the background as I was doing something else, and hearing proxies not only be mentioned, in a Kickstarter pitch of all things, but SUPPORTED is absolutely wild. I hope you are successful and I will share this around!
The QR code part isn't exactly new technology. The Chaotic TCG did it with letter/number codes over a decade ago to connect real life collections to the online TCG app. But I've been hoping a card game would copy that system since Chaotic died. And adding the print to order system makes this really cool and unique. I do wonder how the logistics will work out from a business and manufacturing side of things if this game becomes really popular.
Dunno if you will see this since it was posted a while back, but the guy who the Chaotic IP said in an interview a couple of weeks ago that they are going to have a product announcement by October 1st this year. Everyone is assuming it will be for a card game relaunch because he separatly mentioned being in talks with animators "as well" for a show reboot.
Wait. Did I just hear print on demand? What is this heresy? Seriously!? Well played magic man well played. *edit* Wait wait wait. And I get to choose what cards I want foiled?
Elle est somptueuse cette présentation ! Elle va certainement rajouter beaucoup de cachet au projet et encourager les non connaisseurs à rejoindre l'aventure ! Pour ma part la master est prise :) (et plus... ^^) 300000€ en 15 minutes
Critic: I dont like that there are different rarities on the same artwork :/ get players confused. Nobody reads the text on a card if you remember the picture. Why not do a different artwork for each rarity if they do different things? I get that its more expensive but in a competitive game, you save resources on the wrong end.
at face value, the PoD availability sounds great buuuuuuut... like, how can any company possibly support something like that? that sounds like a financial and logistical nightmare at a minimum. especially with an realtime digital marketplace attached to the game i mean, suppose the valuation of a card happens to spike on the market. isn't that likely to spark a mad rush to PoD those cards for their resale value? how would you deal with something like that? what about the externalities attached to likely behaviors like that?
Can I purchase proxies from other people with the uniques I might need at a good price? The card production looks fantastic and being able to just buy cards for best of uniques proxy decks would be great.
Yes, you won't be able to bring them to sanctioned play, there you deck can only contains the cards you own digitally. But for casual play, you can absolutely do that
This should really be the video that is linked at the top of your website instead of the trailer. I felt like I had to jump through hoops to find what this game even is.
the rules are interesting and the game looks quite unique but the art is so generic to me, that bright league of legends/hearthstone/Disney style is not for me.

Same name/card, but different rarity, and more rare variant has a better ability? Yeaaaaaaah that is pay-to-win format, especially more when you offer "print on demand" for any rich kid. Skipping this game unfortunately. Shame because it seemed interesting and the art was beautiful, but THAT ONE THING makes the game not fun to play.
First Impression: Looks like AI generated generic artwork I can make with a click of a button. Gameplay where the goal is "exploration" and not battle seems to target little kids but at the same time looks complex and boring. Not sure who they think their market audience is but good luck to whoever backed this, you are going to need it.
I heavily disagree but I respect your take on it... I like the artstyle and I think the passive competetive exploration is quite refrshing alongside all of those battle focused Tcgs out there
Needing a phone to play instantly killed my interest. And I play games for fun, not to manage mana or resources. Good luck with this, but sadly not for me!

The QR-Code is a great idea but how its shown looks not good. Change shape and color of it so it fits with the rest of the card.
they needed to make a custom scannable code format like spotify, the way it looks here is so ugly doesn't fit at all

The Czech card game Scratch Wars has had this QR code unique card technology since 2017. So nothing too new

Print, proxy, foils, print on demand? I feel this is all a lie... as a former MTG fanatic turned Commander only person, this is too good to be true. 😭
Wow! Impressed with the quality of your game’s YT channel. Love to see it. I was not following before, but you have my attention now.
The QR code .. I knew that was inevitable... there goes my Card Idea ... I'm still implementing it

The French accent makes it so much better
Oui oui.
Incroyable !!!! La display est prise
So stoked for this game! Gonna be doing a ton of UA-cam content for this game once the KickStarter boxes ship out!

Given the theme of exploration and the location mechanism, this might scratch some of my old 7th Sea itch.

Which is usually a huge red flag...
Road to 5M!
Can't wait for the KS product to arrive in July 🔥
Seems a cool idea, lets see where it goes
I'm a simple man... I see Régis Bonnessée, I buy the game!!
This video is just perfect.
I cant wait to get my hands on this game! Im sad I was too late to kickstarter :(
So when will it be release in tcg?
What does proxy mean? can I order cards I do not own?
wait what is a foiler? do you trade it in for a foil card? I dont get it
@@silvarknite7 you unlock the possibility to print the foil version :)
Would be cool if you had a tutorial mobile game like Bandai's cards.
Super lancement.
La livraison est-elle assurée pour les départements d'outre-mer de la France?
Light Seekers did the QR thing years ago and sadly it wasn't enough to help the game survive 😢
I thought they did a kickstarter already
Any plans for digital game

So excited for Altered! Really love the mechanics, and it’s sooo approachable!
Its gimmicky. Wont do well as a tcg.
It would have been really interesting as a lcg or boardgame tho.
People will do online pack openings and viewers can immediately "steal" the card by scanning the QR code on screen lmao gl with that

League of Legends has a dark imaginary as well, for example Singed used its chemicals to kill kids during a war

This game seems interesting. But it’s WAY under cooked. The game is convoluted in many ways. It has potential.
