- Have you ever put a candle in your freezer? - Here I show you why that's a good idea!
✅ Is HERE something for you? ➡️ amzn.to/3Hi7tEy *
Putting a candle in the freezer sounds strange at first, but it has a decisive advantage! Because by the cold you ensure that the candle burns much slower and thus you increase the life of your candle. All you have to do is put your candle in the freezer.
It does not matter whether it is a pillar candle or tea lights. Just put the candles in the freezer for 1 hour before lighting and you can benefit from it. You can then light them normally, but they will burn slower.
Try this ingenious trick with your candles once. With a few candles it happens that the wick burns down slowly afterwards. If this is the case, the candle is not suitable for the freezer.

I was expecting a comparison to be shown of one frozen and one unfrozen next to each other, but a tip I’ll use in the future, thanks.
Don't do it. It is a lie.
No it's not. 4th grade science should tell you the principle works
@@mrequi1 No 4 grade science tells you it is true that the gas of the wax is what burns. But there is no differenct gas if the wax was frozen before.
It might take slightly longer to get it burning but once it burns the heat of the flame is enough to keep it going as always.
@@mrequi1 Daniela is absolutely correct. I suggest you revisit 4th Grade science. A previously-chilled candle rapidly returns to the same burn temperature as an ambient candle - 70ºC (160ºF if you live in the Dark Ages) because it *has a flame in its midst* - the perimeter of which can easily reach 1000ºC.
If you soak them in salt water overnight, they won't drip, even the cheap ones.
I want to see the difference in burn time, so I'm going to try a little experiment with tealights. I'm going to freeze one and then burn it at the same time with a non frozen candle.
put salt round wick of tealight to make it burn 2 times as longer
And what was the result? 🕯
If you put it in with the flame alight you have to wait for it to defrost before you can blow it out.
I've been putting my candles in the freezer since ..1984. But I'm older, so I already knew about this. Because I used a lot of taper candles, on my dining room table.
This is probably why so many Swedish people use lots of candles. Good info.
Since then we discovered electricity and invented lightbulbs 😂
@@m1k3again Rude!
@@greeneyedlady5580 I'm probably older than you, lol
@@m1k3again Well I'm a senior citizen, so...
If you have highly scented candles I would place them in a Ziploc bag so your food in there won't taste like the candles 😊
If you put your candle in the freezer while it's lit, they'll last forever.
Put them in the freezer close the door it makes them cold! Lol this guy is so funny amazing!
When I don't light my candles, they seem to last forever and I don't have to put them in the freezer.
🤔😂🤔
Woow 👌👌👍👍💕
*Thank you very much, as usual!* 🥰
*Merry Christmas to you and to everybody on this Channel!* 🤶🏻🌲🎅🏻
Thank you! :)
Interesting! I will try that
excellent 💖
You should do a comparison of a candle in freezer and room temperature candle side by side.
Ann Reardon has. It does not make a difference at all
He won't because it doesn't work. Still, ad revenue, eh? What a time to be alive... 🙄
Scented candles make food taste like perfume 😋
By mistake, I ate half a candle while wondering why my Flintstone push-up pop wouldn’t light! Gotta stop the late night snacking! 😂😂😂.
***great video…I will try it! 🙂✅👍🏻
Are you blind by chance?
You gotta buy the Betty Rubble ones. They burn good 🤣
Thanks again for your great tips. I find them extremely smart and useful.
Thank you :)
It would thaw out so fast it wouldn’t make that much difference.
Have you tried it?
@@louisevanderlinde8590 Yes, I didn't burn it long enough to find out but I did notice the flame was smaller. Maybe it was just the candle, idk.
Emeğinize sağlık çok güzel
That’s amazing! Thank you for sharing this good idea.
Your Welcome :)
@@smartfoxofficial *You're
Genius man 👨 🙏
Should you have trimmed the wick before lighting?
And even the ones that are unscented if un bagged will make your freezer smell of wax therefore taint your food
I would place candles in a plastic bag before putting it in the freezer
Some candles have toxic chemicals in them you wouldn't want the vapors of getting into your food anyway. If you live in a northern climate, why not just store them in your unheater garage or porch instead?
so, theres no food in the freezer, but he's got a bunch of candles. I think I'll save my freezer space for food thank you
He emptied it for this video.
@@Thatsmisteroldguytou oh I see, he was pretending. he could of saved himself the trouble, and just said "hey You Tuber's stick you're candles in the freezer, and they'll last longer" end of story
@@leiag201 *could have saved...
Add a teaspoon of salt to candles they also last longer.
Add a bottle or two of vodka to your glass and. You won't care how long a freaking candle burns.

So basic, and yet I never thought of it.
Candles in the freezer seems like a Feng Shui conflict. 😝 Anybody out there who can interpret that?
Sucking up powdered detergent creates a nice smell when vaccuming.
Nice canits
Don’t the candles. Have to pool to release the scent. Don’t think I want to risk ruining my expensive candles
My B&BW collection is quite excessive. I'd have to buy a freezer dedicated to candles.🤣 🕯
Would thi ps affect pooling of the candles and release of scent?
How long should the candles be left in the freezer? I didn’t see this information
He said to keep them in the freezer until you are ready to use them.
I store them in there until I use them. It does work. I've been doing this since the 80's! Lol!

C'est possible de traduire en français ?! Merci ✨🌟✨
Not only that but have you ever noticed that it burns evenly?
Who has room in their freezer ? That's crazy talk
Who has a freezer?
Ok. Now tell me where to put the food it was in freezer 😳
In a candle holder in the living room of course.
@@mrequi1
Here you go ! Gee… I could not think of that at all.. ✌️😉😂🤣
Does is works with Yankee Candle? Is the smell the same after this? 😊
It doesn't work with _any_ candle. It's been debunked countless times, sorry.
That might work well for longer burn time, but I like to leave mine out for decor.
So we go out and purchase a freezer just to put our candles in to save money on candles?
My freezer is full of food….can I borrow yours since your not using it??
This is perhaps a good idea in hot temperatures… I am burning them outside where the temperatures are quite much under the zero….
I like your tips, but not this time. The wax candle will be at room temperature in no time and that stops any long burn.
Prière traduire en français. Merci
Where are the shared pics of the burned candles. Huh?!
You say it works with all kinds of candles, but didn't specify not to try it with jar candles. Are you assuming people know better?
😁
What about jar candles?
Should also work ;)
It does work! It's how I clean wax from holders. Put them in the freezer for a couple of hours & the wax pops right out or peels of easily.

Candles won't burn at all in temperatures under 35 below F.
Well, good thing I'm almost never out in 35 below temps. And if I was, I sure as hell wouldn't be trying to light a candle
The energy cost to lower the temp of the candles creates a break-even in energy and cost.
Waste. of. time.
And what the smell? Is the same after this hack? ☺😌

Where's the frozen food?
In the candle holder

It is bullshit.
Try it, THEN post your opinion
@@mrequi1 I did. As a child when I did not know about chemistry and stuff. It is old bullshit.
It does not work and it can not work.
If the wax melts slower you would get a smaller flame. But the candle gets warm so that effect would not last. And the flame is so hot that it does not make a difference anyhow.
Bulshit
