  • Did you know that there are things that almost everyone always does wrong? Here I show you what they are!
    ✅ Is HERE something for you? ➡️ amzn.to/3Hi7tEy *
Many things we do simply out of habit without ever questioning them. But for a whole lot of things, this gives us features that we don't even know about or that we've always done wrong. Here I show you 9 of them.
    1. when you use a cutter knife, you should never break the blade at the bottom. Instead, there's a cap on the back of it that you can remove. There's a slot in here. Put the blade in there and break it off to the side.
If you can't get a canning jar open, fold your hands on the edge of the lid so that you pinch it in your palms. Then squeeze the lid. This will make it much easier to open the jar. 3.
    3. you can use your peeler in both directions. This is because most peelers have a blade in the front and in the back. So you don't always have to set it down and then start again, but can pull it directly back and forth and thus peel much faster.
    4) Instead of opening the envelope at the top of the glue and tearing it completely, you can open it from the side with a handle. This is faster and looks much better.
When you blow out a candle, there is usually smoke. Instead of blowing it out, you should drown the wick in the wax with a small wooden skewer. This way it won't smoke and you can light the candle easier next time because of the wax layer around the wick.
    6. instead of shaking the garbage bag and stuffing it into the garbage can, pull it over the edge of the garbage can and fold it into the garbage can.
    7. the Post-Its you use don't stick very well and bulge quickly? Then you should tear them off sideways instead of from the bottom up. This way it is much easier and faster and the notes stick much better and longer.
    8. instead of dumping the noodles or rice into the colander, you should place it in the pot and then dump the water. That way you don't have to tip your pasta or rice back and forth.
If you use an oil bottle, don't throw away the lid! Instead, put it in the bottle upside down. This will leave only a small opening at the end, which you can use to portion the oil perfectly.
And how many of these things have you always done wrong? Feel free to write it in the comments below!

The bin liner tip is horrible. It makes it difficult to put the bag in as air cannot escape the bin.

For opening jars you can also "spank" it on the bottom with your hand causing the bubble to pop.

I never realized there was a better way to extinguish candles without all that smoke, or that I've been peeling Post-Its incorrectly. The detailed explanations and demonstrations in this video were incredibly helpful. Thank you for sharing these life hacks!

I'm gonna try just swishing the wax in the candle around if the glass isn't too hot. I don't want to maintain an extra tool to put out a candle. I've been just putting the lid on it.

Without being critical some of it feels a bit OCD but I really liked the tip about the jar lid, thankyou. ❤

As for jar lids, I just slide a butter knife under the edge, hear the air release, and it's ready to open. Not everyone has the strength to push in on the jar hard enough to break the seal....

Letter openers were invented for a reason and work the best of all.

I never realised that a simply alternative way of doing things is defined as ‘wrong’.

Well if there is even a better way to do things AND the manufacturers obviously designed their products to offer an option that no one is aware of ....

    Hoi smart fox,
TIP 1) I show it to my husband, maybe he already knows that one.
    2) I have a very good opener or, my husband haha.
    4) I have a special letteropener sweetie! No, not my husband haha, but a kind of 'knife'.

I knew about the cutter. I knew about the peeler. I hit the bottom of a jar with the heel of my hand and the lid pops. I knew about the envelope.

I have tried both ways and the way you say is the wrong way Is actually easier for me. I do still try both methods but when I do it your way the bottom always stays up even if I push it down it comes back up I am going to continue the other way thanks though

I asked my granddaughters the other day why do we do crafts with these, save them for teachers to do things with at school. Countless projects are made with them... THEM, toilet paper rolls. Why not use the paper towel rolls instead? You can get 3 out of the one roll...but the MUCH more important reason I question this.... the paper towel rolls usually come out of the kitchen. The toilet paper roll..... uhm, errr, UGH... yes Sir/Ma'am!!! Out of the bathroom right next to and being used because of using the toilet. Please tell me I'm not alone in wondering about this. (Oh yeah, I've used the little ones, saved them for my children, put them aside for my grandchildren. while the long ones are not only big swords for their imagination but also der-derts. You put them up to your mouths, take a deep breath and yell ..DER DER DER DERT! a SELF MADE digeridoo!) As long as you stay a part of your childrens' lives and teach them that smiling is great, playing is fun.) Have a wonderful life.

Actually, the best way to open a envelope is with a pair of scissors. Get very close to the edge so you don't cut the letter.

I did not know them. As someone that does not watch that kind of video often, I appreciate that they are actually useful. Nothing really important but if the candle does not smoke all the better. And only the jar opening - if it works - was worth watching it. And the potato peeler trick (the unused blade is likely still sharper).
