How to Tighten & Fix a Sagging RV Awning (Topper)

- If your awning is sagging, flapping in the wind, or pooling water and debris, it could be a combination of a stretched out awning fabric and fatigued spring. In which case, you can tighten the spring inside the roller tube for your awning topper. In this video I'm working with a Lippert Solera, but it should be applicable to Dometic and other brands as well. It would have been nice if you showed how you made the ends where it slides into the roller and onto the side of the trailer.
