Everyone immediately things "balls and wieners" when Blink-182 comes up. But when they choose to pull that curtain back and let that inner pain show they go super deep and it hits hard.
To me, it always seems like the people who everyone considers goofballs and weirdos hide the most pain. I could be totally off here but thats what i have always felt.
Tom to me is the great Musician of MY time. I didnt say of ALL time. But for ME. For my childhood. For my youth. And Long after my Youth. Between Blink and AVA, he is GOATED as far as I see it. And I dont give a damn who agrees or doesnt agree.
For me (a 31 year old man) It is their best song. From my childhood, to see them become old men and follow their story all these years gas been awesome. The lyrics are so good. Feels like blink 182. I loved it.
This song makes me so nostalgic and made me cry a few times, especially when they started showing the old video clips. I'm seeing them for the first time in a few months and I can't wait!
The backdrops were old music videos and major shows in their career. This song references Mark getting diagnosed with cancer and Travis’ plane crash and their break ups in the passed. It’s a love letter to each other. Good shit.
Gen X here. This is an amazing song - Blink 182 has always been a great band - and what an amazing point of reflection that this song forces upon us - as I get older - the more songs like this make me want to right so many wrongs - and makes me thankful for the small things - like opportunity - and the breath in my lungs. If I just had one more chance ... one more chance... I would take it.
I grew up with these guys, from my late teens until today, damn near 25 years later, they've been huge in my music life. When Tom left, I lost touch with their music, but when they announced he was coming back I got tickets to the first gig I possibly could and managed to see them live for the first time just a couple of weeks ago. It was incredible, so many memories, so much nostalgia, such good vibes. And I live this song and video, it chokes me up but in a good way, and I'm so happy it feels like all three of them see life for what it is now and have moved past any differences they had.
Same, Im 32 yrs old an listened to them my whole life. Finally got to see them when Tom came back. I legit cried when they came on stage and started playing lol.
I feel like the “it shouldn’t take a sickness or airplanes falling from the sky” line is flying over everyone’s heads lol. That part hit me the most. Travis was in a plane crash ,DJ AM and Travis were the only survivors. And mark had cancer.
Great reaction dude! I always felt blink really captured the feeling of being 17 and having your whole life ahead of you but being in that magical time where you are hanging out with your friends everyday, laughing, having fun, going through breakups with a girl, struggling with problems at home, and making memories you look back on later in life. 🥹

@@Norminator87 It's a defensive mechanism for many for sure.
I mean, they’ve been pretty serious for the past 20 years. Self titled in 2003 wan’t exactly a bunch of dick jokes.

Mark is 51.
Tom is 48
Trav is 47
Went to highschool with Tom
So going to high school with tom did you think back then tom would be a music legend?
@@crowleybobtreestuff No because I didn't know him personally. I was a senior when he was a freshman
@@kathleenclark815 Didn't he get kicked out of a high school? was that yours?
@@viresproductions Yes. He got kicked out of Poway High (my highschool) in his JR year..but I had already graduated by then
@@kathleenclark815 haha that’s awesome

This is my 24th video reaction. Forever blink❤
I’m old. 51. I loved blink. This song made me cry. So good.

That`s such a tear squeezer... man, usually I am hard as steel, but this one broke me. I loved this band since I was a teenager...
What a great react dude. Cheers from Maryland.
I love watching reactions to this awesome Blink song! 👍
Blink-182 ❤❤❤
I feel the same way about this song. Incredibly haunting. Love it so much.
This video was awesome. I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I did Elliot. Take care my friend

YEESSS, Blink-182!!!!
🔥💯🎶🎸🎵
they are in their 50s because I was listening to them in high school and they were already older than me so like 20s... and I'm 40 now...
Blink182 solid ❤❤❤❤
They also released a more upbeat track, More Than You Know. There's the official lyric video on their channel. Definitely also worth listening to!
The one reason why Tom came back was hearing that Mark had cancer
Love the Cole Caufield jersey! Wisconsin homeboy, he gonna be a superstar! (Avs all the way tho)
Awesome review!!!

Haha exact same reaction. Like my clone. Biased but incredible song. Haha I can't get over how similar my reaction was to yours.
Peep the Goal Caufield jersey. Good stuff
Travis=alien... Tom =I'm back
Tom set up a business to prove of aliens, and never realised his drummer was one
Jack & Sally just kill all of us now..😢😢😢
@elliot Quinn the only one who is 50 in the band is Mark
Blink is the shit. Caufield is the shit. Nice work man.
I've watched a bunch of reactions already and no one is fucking around that it starts at the Adams song location, what the fuck?
Don’t forget about the most important side project (that ultimately became a whole successful band)
Angels & Airwaves! 🚀🌙
Travis looks older..wdym.?
Only Mark is 50…..
Plastic surgery. That's Travis' secret lmao. You don't spend that much time with the Kardashians without getting some work done
Wow. Talk about being off base ..

That is the only good song from that album.
self aware pretentious reaction
