Wait. There is a mod that lets you “ride” the coasters! It is called CoasterCam! You can see the ride through the eyes of the guests. I like that mod a lot.
My first theme park game was "Theme park world" I really loved that game as a kid. It was made by bullfrog so of course it was great.
This has a lot of similarities, though of course its most obvious inspiration is Rollercoaster Tycoon
@@evilmiera Looks very close to the original "Theme Park" to me. "Theme Park" even had the banking system, they even tied in a real UK "midlands" bank which does not exist anymore. You just don't see that anymore.

I love this game. Brings all the fun of RCT with the options of Planet Coaster and yet without setting my laptop on fire. It's funny you used the Western scenario because that's the only one I totally flunked in career mode. You bring it up in the video, but these "backstage" buildings (staff breakrooms, supply buildings, underground transport network) and areas where you have to hide them from sightlines the guests, is definitely a big part of the experience of successfully playing the game. I mean at 12:45 you're basically doing Disney utilidoors!
I absolutely love this game and I am happy that Pravus is playing it. Might have to bust it back out again.
So glad you picked this up! I played this game a few years ago and utterly adored it. Still like to pick it up on occasion for a chill evening.
A little tip if you want to make a little series of this game (which I would love to watch). There’s a formula for calculating “optimal” prices for each attraction, it’s excitement * 2 / 10.
