Cheers Dave .my pleasure to share such an amazing slot car . Memories of my youth in ireland 🙂 couldn't afford one but loved seeing them around 🤗 thanks for commenting mate 👍
Well Harry you've taken the plunge ad bought a Revoslot. You know I love this car as I have the same model. Congratultions buddy on a great purchase, I guarantee after some setting up you will not be disappointed. Revoslots are without doubt the best looking cars on the market so again well done sir, enjoy I know you will 👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Rob , yes I really enjoy running it on the track with the minis as they did back in the day. Revoslot certainly got the model spot on ,I've had this one a while now and it runs very well ,I'm happy to have at least one Revoslot in the collection 🙂appreciate you watching and commenting mate 👍
same shizzle as the 510 Rob, front two screws tight enough so they just start to bind, let the rear two off a bit and should run lovely, don't true the tyres, let them wear in with laps :)
@@robertsale6528 the smaller group 2 ones yes, as a basic tune do that first should get you round a lap fairly briskly, then slacken off the fronts a little at a time until you're happy (will make it so you can drive it harder into the corners) and not so much the rear ones rub. The bigger GT2 and GT1 cars the chassis works differently, most of them all 4 screws are on the body plate and the rattle is adjusted with the brass nuts (the BRMs are the same)
Hi Colin ...yes mate loved those escorts in the real world and this slotcar is a fantastic tribute to the real thing 🙂appreciate you dropping in mate 🤗👍
Nice video Harry! Of my budding Revo collection the Ford MkI is one of my best runners. I did switch of the tires to Quick Slicks silicone tires and add just a hair of weight right in front of the motor to help the back end stick in the corners better on our Carrera track. Very nice unboxing!
Hi Chris and thank you re unboxing 🙂 those Revoslot cars are great fun with a little bit of tuning they run excellent ...the Datsun everyone is wetting themselves about is ok but I wouldn't be joining the peer pressure and buying one 🤭🤣 I've never bought an aftermarket tyre for any of my cars yet .Rekon ile never have too ,only racing against myself 🤣🤣 appreciate you watching and commenting mate 👍...Harry
@@SCALE_SLOTCARS_AND_RC For me the BRE Datsuns got me on the Revo bandwagon. Since getting them I added a Ford, Opel and the Alfa. I am trying to wait until May for the BMW releases.
Beautiful little Ford you got there Harry...looks really fun on your track. I love seeing the graceful glide into corners. Still working on finishing borders on the few bits of my track left so I can enjoy more magless fun.
Hi mate ,yes the Revoslot cars are great fun . A little bit of basic tuning and they are good to go 🤗 racing with borders is soo much better 😁 thank you for watching and commenting....Harry
Hi Steve. I will eventually connect the trigger controller but at the moment I only use the thumb type because my wife doesn't like the trigger ones 🫢🤷 those mk1 Escorts certainly are beautiful cars and Revoslot did a great job 👍 thanks for commenting mate ....Harry
Hey Harry, looks stunning. Best looking Mk1 I have seen, bodies are very high quality and really the best available. Sounds like your gear mesh needs setting up. I found with my other Revo a very light sanding and traction oil made a difference. I have the same chassis with the 510. It took me about an hour to set up. A lot of side play on my back axle. Best thing to do if you want a quick car is strip and check everything. Be very careful with the motor bolts as the heads can strip easy. Enjoy
Very nice car Harry! I have one myself (different livery), just haven't had time to get to it yet lol. As you may know now, you don't have to fully remove the Revo body mount screws, you can just pull on the body side and slide the chassis out. The second guide is deeper for wood tracks.
Hi Dave 👋 yes this was recorded about 5 months ago ,after I bought it I quickly studied the tuning options and it runs great ,I don't like flexing bodies too much with my awkward hands 🤣 which one have you got ? Thanks for watching mate 👍
Thank you mate . Yes one of my favourite 132 scale cars . With a bit of set up they are wonderful. Appreciate you dropping in ,watching and commenting 🤗👍
My first real car was a 1971 MK1 Escort 1300, bought second hand from a dealer in 1979. It was a great car and I ended up having a friend restore a 1600 engine and fit it to the car.
Hi Simon...that was recorded about 4 or 5 months ago just as I started the track build 😁 next will be another BRM when they are realised 🤗 thanks for watching and commenting mate 👍
@@SCALE_SLOTCARS_AND_RC AH I got you. I am redesigning circuit Simonsays. Removing crossovers and making room for borders so I can add some 124 cars to the collection!
Cheers Nico. Yes I'm happy I bought it , great cars by Revoslot and something I always wanted in real life but couldn't afford 😮💨thanks for watching mate 👍
Love the Revo’s! And the Escort is iconic. Thanks for sharing Harry!

@slotr thanks Dave that's about the best advice I've seen, is it the same for all revoslots would you say?

Hello Harry, happy easter weekend! The Revoslots are truly loveley cars - but needs a little work to make them really fast. Greetings, Carsten
Yes, as long as people are prepared to do a little setup, they are great cars , and mine runs great 👍 Happy Easter to you, too, friend 🤗....Harry
Hi Harry, glad you like your Revo. I love mine
Hey Gene ....yes the Revoslot cars are really great and I like their classic saloons especially 🤗appreciate you dropping in mate 👍
Cool! I think you will like the trigger controller they are much better than the stock track push ones. And that car is a BEAUTY!!

What a cool Christmas present!
Thank you ...it took a while to post the review. But I got there eventually lol .Appreciate you watching and commenting 🤗👍...Harry
Nice looking car right Harry! Now you need another group 2 revo. What's next for you? Are you reworking your track?

Try the scalextric MK1 escort with some sticky tyres works so much better.
