customizing Ninjago to fit a LEGO city!

- The Ninjago city theme has some of the best buildings in LEGO - but they're hard to integrate with a regular LEGO city. Most cities we've seen keep Ninjago city sets separate from the main city, off to the side. But we think there's a better way to show off these beautiful buildings. And we build a custom Ninjago City Gardens alternate MOC in less than 8 hours! LEGO city update!!

In this video, we show how to:
- estimate the volume of materials we have, to resize the Ninjago buildings to fit a standard footprint
- change the angle and cantilevering of the buildings, to keep the Ninjago flavor but still make the buildings neat enough to fit well with other city themes
- expand existing mini-builds to fit the larger LEGO city footprint
- add new mini-builds, like a LEGO pay phone, a brick-built barber sign, and a LEGO climbing wall
- integrate pink frogs
- do this all in less than a day! - Навчання та стиль
I like where this channel is headed. Keep it up!
Thanks so much for this - it means a lot coming from you!!

Hi tiago! I love your channel!
4 likes and 3 replies?, Let me change that!
Production value is at 100%. Keep going and you all will be sure to blow up. Awesome vid!
Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. Love your channel!!
Jang bricks has a video titled "The joy of small buildings" which I recommend. To me your approach is very practical and also creative. I figured that, I feel bad to keep sets in their original form(like it is a too adult thing to do), yet still can't break them to their pieces, even though I bought some of them just for color scheme. For example I bought a big truck because I love "dark red" but I couldnt break it for parts yet. Maybe I need more time. Anyways love the sensitivity and depth in this channel❤.
Just want to say I really appreciate your unique take as Lego UA-camrs! I feel like you two have something more wholesome, unique, and maybe a little more budget-friendly! Love the videos please keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this video so much! What a wonderful way to play with an existing set that’s both creatively challenging and fun for the viewer to watch.
You two continue to really impress with your video ideas and presentations in an already crowded Lego UA-cam space. Excited to see the city and the channel’s continued growth!
I hope to see the roles reversed next time!
Thanks so much for the kind words and for sticking with us!
I had such fun watching this video! 😊 I feel like this captures what LEGO is all about 👍🏻
The builds look fantastic and I think this is an interesting take on building lego, but I personally enjoy the lionsbrick-esque videos you’ve made in the past. Keep it up!!
Thanks for the note, that's really good to know! We love LionBricks too. Thanks for sticking with us!
I was so relieved when you used the brick separators to disassemble the apocalypse gym! Excellent video, love your style!
I love how you're always smiling when you talk. When watching I just can't help but smile along with you :D
Finally a new refreshing lego channel to subscribe to!! Love minibuilds!! Keep on going!! Found you because of this video, gonna watch all other vids now!!
Awesome, thanks so much!!
If I did this challenge all of my builds would have been destroyed; props to you for having great building skills with limited pieces and on a timer
Fantastic content. Clear, logical and well-planned buildings to fit into the city. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment!!
I love how enthusiastically you spoke about the tea time space and the circle piece 😁
Very cool, subscribed (4:19 Ig it could be what you want but its actually anancondrai snakes)
I've absolutely fallen in love with this channel, I've binged all your videos and cannot wait for the next one! You are both really talented :)
You both make a cool Lego couple, plus I like how you always pay attention to bring out amazing content :)
We must maintain as aesthetic - LEGO spaceman skateboarding down the street...
That's the only aesthetic anyone would want
Was looking forward to you posting again!
Thanks for sticking with us!! Hope you enjoyed it!
@@eggybricks I sure did.
Was so worried when you nearly destroyed that building 🤣
Eight hours would just be me looking for that one missing black 1x2 piece in a pile of 1x4s.
Great premise! I love the way your videos are presented and the organized structure of your design flow.
This was such a cool Chantelle you did pretty awesome
I really like this style. I often get decision paralysis when it comes to building MOCs, i just don't know what to do and end up barely making any progress. I'll have to force myself to just build anything for a few hours, then my wife can decide if it goes into the city or thrown to the floor lol
Glad to see it's not just us that needs a time limit or an ultimate judge! Thanks for watching!
Im watching this having just seen the news that LEGO have revealed the Ninjago City Market set, and fear i may have to buy two and have a go at this with the second!
The gardens is my favorite set
such an entertainment! i hope y'all had lots of fun too.
Please upload more! Your content is great.
I like how you kept some of the building techniques from the original set
Super cool. Thank you. Keep going.
This is amazing, I love you two

Thanks so much, we're trying hard to get better!
Love the channel!
Thank you!!
Thank you for the content you do, it is incredible and inspiring.
Thanks so much!
I genuinely don’t know why you guys don’t have more supporters, or even just more likes. You both are awesome, keep it up.
Good on you girls! I honestly can't stand "Destroying" Bricks the way some channels do. Often if I have a set fall of a shelf (like my poor poor Guardians of the Galaxy Benatar starship has twice!), sometimes pieces can warp and even snap or break, and I hate when that happens. Although thanks to Bricklink, I am able to replace parts inexpensively, but who wants to do that if you don't have too? I personally like to take care of my things, each and every Lego brick included! So I personally am not a fan of "Destroying" lego builds at all, except for how you girls have done it here, properly and with a brick separator!
BTW, I really loved how you reimagined some of the best parts from the Ninjago City Gardens into Mini-Modular, and city ready builds! I've always felt like the Ninjago City, Docks, and Gardens, and the coming Markets, would be really great sets to build once each, but then to take apart vendor by vendor and then placing them into a modular arrangement to create my very own Chinatown in my Lego city! I love it when different parts of a Lego city has their own feel to the areas, much like a real life city.
For example, all the official LEGO Modulars line create an "Old Town" section of my Lego city, as all the Lego Modular official designs have that pre-1950's building style to them. Ninjago theme become my city's Chinatown, and then I have the Modern area of my city that includes sets like the Daily Bugle, the Sanctum Santorum, and rebuiilds of Assembly Square and the Boutique Hotel in order to service a more modern approach to that section of my city!
Thank you for creating wonderful contents for us to view! Loving your videos girls. Keep up the good work!

Finally someone who can't do a drop test. Don't do it people, lego is rare and expensive in many parts of the world. I recently grinded some second hand pieces while drying them with vegetable drier, still hurts.
oh no!
Such a nice style to your videos. And the production value and editing is over the top.
Thanks for watching, and thanks so much!!
I really want to rebuild Assembly Square into a lot of single shops on 2x 8x16 plates with hinges so my son can play with them like a dollhouse. It is so beautiful but really not playable.
That sounds like a great idea!
This is what Lego is about building and creatively rebuilding … or use to be about.
I like what I see!
This Channel is growing very fast , keep it up
Thanks Greg!!
Fun to see the building challenge!
Thanks!!
great video again!
Thank you!
Nice challenge. End results were really good.
Thanks!
