Same, I thought that Biden talking about ice cream was a Babylon Bee thing that they did, but I was shocked when it was actually real!
while I feel anger and find it hard to scrape up feelings for anyone who would go into a school and start shooting, I have to believe that anyone that would do such a thing is deeply disturbed and needed emotional help way before this. We need to be able to identify people who are in such a state and try to help them earlier on, rather than start barking about guns, the NRA and republicans after the fact (as my liberal relatives do every time!)
Well we can start with the obiously mentally ill "trans community". Lets also not forget that every mass school shooter is on a big pharma cocktail of psychoactive drugs.but the news brought to you by phizer wont ever investigate this link. And politicians whos campaigns are heavily donated to by pharma arent interested in that either.
Underrated comment
The problem is that our mental health system is mostly pseudoscience and makes people sicker. look up how many shooters were on SSRIs. Most of them aren't untreated mentally ill persons, they're mentally ill persons whose symptoms were medically multiplied.
Republicans refuse to address mental health also, so take your fake outrage and shove it. The problem is guns, every country has mental health issues, we’re the only one with the shootings, pull your head out of your ass

I don't think the lie of "Men can become women" is strictly limited to aesthetic appeal or even Platonic beauty but includes other lies about function, utility, telos, creatureliness, and imago dei. I think I'd be inclined to say that was the greater lie because it has the greater nexus of lies behind it.

I really wish this comment was satire but I live in a fairly conservative town in west Texas and we now have a high school with a litter box in the bathroom for the furry identifying student.
I don't get why parents give their children smartphones before they are driving. There are adults around them that have phones if there's an emergency or contact is necessary. When my daughter got her first job at 16, she got a phone. And honestly, even that wasn't good. I should've waited even longer really.

Thailand is a whole 'nother world. As they say, the most beautiful women in Thailand are men. I lived there a couple of years while shuttling around doing the digital nomad thing. Thailand is as a described: Sexual Disneyland. I abstained. I would like to say it was because I love God and never want to sin. But, the truth is:
1. As a biologist, the idea of having sex with a woman who had sex with a hundred other men is repugnant because of the STD factor,
2. I would have sex with a lady boy without realizing it.
2. With God's sense of humor, that would be when I died and I would end up, naked at the throne of God for judgement. Although I am assured of my salvation, it would be really embarrassing when God looked at me and said, "So, Mike, what have you been doing, lately?"
