I love making candles, but the wax melts are so much easier to make and the hot throw are always on point for me. I have always used GW 494, but I do have the coconut tart wax which I haven’t tested yet.
I totally agree it’s so much quicker and less of a hassle! I seen a lot of people wanting to test out coconut waxes let me know how you like it. You maybe can even mix the two.
I used TW30, but sometimes I have to use 18% FO load, depending on the FO I use. I'm testing C-55. It's a very beautiful wax, however, it doesn't have much of a CT. I will let the melts cure for 2 weeks and hopefully there is a CT and HT. Have you used C-55 before? If so, did you like it?
As a new candle and wax melt maker myself, I would like to share a smart tip I learned for clean up. Wipe your pouring pitcher with a paper towel as soon as you are done pouring to get the excess wax out. It will make clean up (use Dawn) way easier and help to clear the fragrance oil scent out. Great job on your way melts by the way!!
I make wax melts !!
Nice glad that you explain the steps and how much wax and do thank you God bless your business
