I have the discontinued OM-150 no cutaway, wouldn't trade it for the world, its one of the most beautiful sounding guitars I've ever played or owned, its sits right here next to me on a stand and I play it hours a day, don't know why you cant get a non cutaway version anymore

...me too , I used to hate cut-aways , pick guards , shaded tops , and dreads ; forty years later I've owned them all , except dreads ☻️🙃😋

My first decent acoustic guitar was a Guild D-25 that I bought new back in 1974. It had a pressed arched back of solid Mahogany and a really tight grained spruce top stained a Cherry color. I still have that guitar, and still feel as I did back when I bought my first Martin D-35 that it sounds better than the Martin and plays better too. And although I now have a fleet of Taylors that I now play mostly, I still have that Guild. And every now and then I pull it out, and it never disappoints me and reminds me why I have kept that guitar all these years, and why maybe I stuck with picking acoustic guitars all these years. Great guitars.

My M-sized Guild is the guitar I play most often, largely because the 24.9" scale and 1 3/4" nut are both so comfortable for me. I keep hoping that Guild will put out an OM-sized guitar with the same scale length and nut width, but it hasn't happened yet.

Me too! An American version of the OM-120 would be awesome, with 24.9 scale & a cutaway I would OWN it!

Nice sounding guitar especially with Quinton's playing. Thanks Paul and Quinton And Chad for the demo

FWIW, I prefer acoustics unplugged. My ears find that once plugged in, the tonal differences between models become less pronounced. In other words, they all tend to sound more alike, and in my experience a good sound man make a world of difference. By all means do an occasional pickup comparison, or even include a short plugged in demo, but please keep the bulk of your demo content unplugged as God intended.
The Guild sounds good and for its price I am sure it will bring years of joy to its owner. I also have a soft spot for 60s and 70s Guilds.

Gotta keep the pickup tone and volume mid to low....and the PA master higher for projection. People max those levels.

My first nice acoustic guitar was a guild. It also came with a mandolin and my dad took it. Before that they were all basically toy level guitars or a classical that sucked.

I totally agree with an acoustic amp and checking the pickups. I'm of the opinion that some really expensive guitars are sailing on with old pickups. My first love was a Guild D-55. I luckily have kept it since buying it in 1981. So I'm a total Guild loony but only for their USA-made models. I had this one for a while but struggled with some really stiff tuners and no sales support backup (in Australia). I also have a 2019 D-55 and and 2012 F-50. I've moved on with Martin mania!!

I can't stand the sight of this one, hate cutaways, so I'll pass on the video. Would love a new Guild dread or jumbo.

They do not unfortunately, i was lucky enough to find one new in the box a few years back without the cutaway, its a shame to discontinue it, I love this guitar.

Im trying to find something not as thick as a dreadnought. Where does this stand relative to a dreadnoughts width? Im looking for a Grand Auditorium CE under 500$ that plays better then the bulky guitar I have. Thanks
