So far I have seen many youtube channels and their creators, you do not fall into the fake enthousiasm trap like most of them. Everything seems and feels real. Even if you show only the parts that you want, it makes for a great snippet of a life with all its beautiful highs and lows.
I was afraid you were overwhelmed and done with the channel. I had a similar experience.😬 glad you’re back. Perfect isn’t expected here, thankful for you! You have spoken to my soul in a way no other minimal influencer has. Thanks for your effort to put this stuff out there for us!

This was truly beautiful and touching, the last few words you shared made me cry a little. As a small UA-camr I am learning that it is more than a video I am creating, and my heart is for at least one person to experience what I feel at the moment I'm filming. Thank you for such a creative and raw video but yet so deep.

Absolutely love this! My husband & kids have been telling me since 2020 that I should start a UA-cam channel. Yet, my perfectionist definitely holds me back.... I told them once this or that renovation is done because our home isn't as pintrest worthy as other channels.. or when I lose more weight and feel more confident in myself because what if someone who knows me gets on.... or what if that internet troll gets on and bashes me or what if noone likes it at all.... the struggle to take the leap gets me. Ontop of comparison it's why I stopped doing my photography business for a couple years because I'm self taught and felt like I was fake behind the camera because I didn't have a degree in it. So maybe like you said it's time to push aside the perfectionism and let the artist in me create freely.

I recently lost my sweet kitty in a horrific way. I was so devastated and it's been mentally hard to keep everything together. I quickly started drowning these feelings out with a lot of tv then letting my toddler do the same because...idk..it's like I was in a rut. Here I am rewatching your whole channel again because it's getting exhausting...these habits. And I miss my slow life and I know it's stressing out my toddler too. Its only been about a month but its felt like so much. Thank you for sharing. It means more than you know. You always inspire.
The whale jumping at the end-it made me tear up. I cannot explain it, but creation…may we always be interrupted by it and be in awe.

as a somewhat newbie youtuber, this video really resonated with me! Filming and creating content can be so cringe sometimes but only you can see the final product in your head. No one around me does it so I always feel like I'm kind of alone in this creative space but seeing videos like this of people being transparent really helps me know that I am not alone and that we all look a little silly until it all comes together in the final product!😊

This video resonated SO much with me. It was exactly what I needed today- THANK YOU! I recently started my channel and kept wondering if it's supposed to feel this difficult? 😂 People (including you!) make youtube look so easy & seamless! Talking in front of a camera is difficult though lol. I find dog training easy, and I want to spread my message and teach kind, effective techniques, but man is it difficult on camera! Once that camera light went on, my brain went blank. I genuinely appreciated it so much hearing that you struggled too, that it gets easier, and that you just need to keep showing up. Thanks Madisun!

I listen to a lot of UA-cam videos on decluttering and slow living as I work around the house or as I’m driving. With your channel I can’t multitask because I end up stopping my chores to look at the video or I end up driving and trying to watch the video (recipe for a potential accident). Your videos are a whole sensory experience; a true work of art that I need to watch before bed so I can see and appreciate all the creative and beautiful details you’ve tirelessly put together. Thanks for sharing all the bloopers, outtakes, etc. I also struggle with the thumbnails lol, and I've had so many times that I had to reshoot footage because it was out of focus, or something else made it unusable. This was so encouraging!! As a very small channel I struggle with trying to make the perfect video, and I realized I'm not there yet. I don't have a fancy camera and my editing skills are not the greatest. But I love the community I've built already and I enjoy making videos, even if they aren't that good. Lol So this makes me feel better and reminds me I don't have to be perfect and to enjoy the process.

Loved this video!! Came back to edit my comment as I didn’t have time earlier to include that first, the thumbnail edits made me laugh. I never thought about how hard that must be. Second, the clip of everyone cheering in awe of the whale jumping was so soothing to my soul. To hear people yell in joy and awe- it was a small captured moment of what humanity at its best can be. And thank you for including the Ina content- I had no idea she took a risk to go into cooking and her down to earth reflections on it. I love your channel. This video really spoke to my spirit even though I’m not a UA-camr. Just the inspiration to find meaning in one’s life was very inspiring. I watched it twice now. Thank you for making it!

Thank you for this video. It was a true inspiration for me. I am an artist who laid down my paintbrush two years ago because for some reason I felt my paintings weren’t perfect enough by MY standards. No one judged me or ridiculed me or my paintings but for some reason I was my own worse critic. For two years now I’ve been trying to figure out why I lost my urge to paint.
You have given me a spark to want to be creative again and not be so hard on myself for perfection. This video I will certainly watch over and over again.

I loved the honesty of this! I must admit when I initially found your channel I thought you were another one of those people who present a perfectly presented, filtered, colour graded Instagram life so I stopped watching the first video. But I subscribed and your videos have come up again today and I've watched two and find them genuinely honest and helpful. There is SO much dishonesty and fakeness absolutely everywhere and it sometimes makes me despair. I love it when people are honest and authentic instead, it's so reassuring and gives me hope for my life rather than making me feel worse.

Also, I was curious, I notice you and some other youtubers I follow delete their old videos after a while? Is it because the content is somehow not relevant anymore?
Hey Barbora, Thanks! I get all my music on musicbed. It's just royalty free music, but I do have a spotify account. If I can find it I'll make a youtube mix on there since people ask a lot about the music. My account is "MangoMadi" over there. lol
Oh and about the old videos- haha yes they just aren't at all about slow living... I started out as a cooking channel. haha
