It’s interesting viewing this in hindsight of WWII, given how it reflects the anti-war sentiment in the USA at the time - before the camel’s back was broken by the straw that was Pearl Harbor.

This is first Columbia cartoon to use ricochet sound effect that also used in Chuck Jones Tom & Jerry cartoons, Famous Studios cartoons and others.

I thought doves were suppose to be peaceful.
This was one of the cartoons that it was shown on “Totally Tooned In”, but I’m not sure that the series is on UA-cam.
