@Urshonesty Or, you know, stop trying to police people's personal lives? People have the right to keep themselves safe no matter what they choose to do.
@Urshonesty wow..... it's almost like 39.9 million people who carry the infliction are still in fact people who have the right to live a life with privacy, pride and safe practices with their partners, if they chose to have one. Also 15% of those individuals don't even know they have it, including people who got it as children, from sharing used medical products, and more. Your ignorance would be funny, if it wasn't so disgusting you use it as an excuse to push puritan culture in the comments of a UA-cam video about Tiktok drama! Educate yourself, thanks.
@Urshonestypeople can get STDs from their partners and spouses. even if they weren’t cheating. sometimes it goes unnoticed for a long time. you have to be a real idiot to think this way in 2024. i hate the current year argument but it’s true. you literally have all the information you could have right at your fingertips and here you are not using it. look into the topic, sexual diseases can be transmitted through all kinds of things and from all kinds of people. but even IF they were sleeping around (which most people with HIV don’t), as someone else already stated, that’s none of your business and not a reason to not normalize safe sex and communication. your argument is part of the reason it IS on the rise, because people refuse to educate themselves and think it’s never going to be them because they’re better people somehow. and other unlucky victims get shamed by people like you . go do something positive with your life
I don’t really care about the quote. I care that she said she’s a “normal person” while living in a $17k/month high rise in manhattan lol. And her “satire” about DV. She’s living in the clouds (literally) and afforded so much by pretty much stealing other people’s content. I just don’t get the hype. She’s not “dumb” either. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with biochemistry degree. That’s HARD to do. She can’t feign airheadedness now. I just wish the rich and famous would stop trying to relate to us. It’s insulting to OUR intelligence.
@@MaryYYY_15tbf why does she need to talk about it? I think those whole “every creator should say something about Gaza” is dumb. I get getting support for them, but not everyone needs to talk about on their platform.
Correct. But not really relevant. It has been misattributed to her for so long that it ended up in the movie that Hayley was actually trying to cosplay with the same intention of the statement. So it’s still rather tone deaf
She seems to be a prime example of "pretty privilege." She's particularly enabled in that she seems to readily not face the same consequences for her statements/actions as others would.
Having an STI and sleeping with someone (thereby exposing them to an STI by deception by not disclosing it to them) is absolutely criminal. In some cases, I think that can be considered battery or assault. So fucking sick. Glossing over that fact is kinda weird.
dont quote me on this but im 99% sure in canada, if you sleep with someone while knowingly having an STI/STD and not informing the other person its considered assault in 100% of cases
It depends on the state. Cuz in California its only criminal if you intended to purposely infect them. Even if the infecter is charged its only a misdemeanor. The same with AIDS, they dont even have to tell Doctors or Nurses about their HIV status. They only serve 6months if they knowingly infect a partner. It used to be a felony with 8yrs in prison. Its cra,y

Marie Antoinette NEVER said that. It was actually attributed to a bunch of women during that point in time, it just stuck with her. She was actually trying to get potatoes to be accepted as a food in France to fight the famine there. Please don't parrot this nonsense about the cake.
I wouldn’t call it nonsense. There are tons of miss attributed quotes. I usually just don’t even clarify most of the time because it doesn’t matter. In the first few pages. I almost yelled in class HE NEVER SAID THAT!! lol
This is completely unrelated to your point lol but I worked with a girl over a decade ago, and she had a tattoo with “let them eat cake” and below it a portrait of a woman from that era. When I asked her what it meant (because I didn’t know back then) SHE SAID SHE DIDN’T KNOW🫠 I was like what? Why’d you get it then? She ALSO SAID SHE DIDN’T KNOW. I can’t read everyone’s comments because I just don’t have the stomach for that now… but I corroborate this and support every survivor here and everywhere, seriously. FWIW, the recent response to the Cody Ko situation a la DeAngelo Wallace (thank Gods for them!) is taking a really positive turn, and I’m so happy to see that one of TMG’s podcasts leave them, CUT delete all Cody-related content, and Brittany Broski (finally) deleted her podcast episode (Royal Court) with Ko. These things came the past couple days after the Sad Boyz (most signficantly, Jarvis Johnson, but also Jordan Adika) came out with a clear statement of disgust and total clarity against Cody (even calling his silence “loser behavior,” which really stuck with me, and encouraging people to send challenge to people like them, cishet men, instead of sending any challenge to women and nb people and especially not to people with similar experiences - even describing those confrontations as ‘explosive to PTSD’ and harmful in an unforgivable and totally irresponsible way). I know it’s not the same as this and I know it’s not overcoming the degree of punching down that we personally feel or experience yet, but I want you all to know that these things have happened because I’ve been extremely pleasantly surprised and I am genuinely so grateful to DeAngelo for their continuing streak of the right moral take on things, but even more for their breaking the barrier for bigger creators speaking out. This Jamie Stone is in New York. She is correct in regards to illegality. Health laws make it a misdemeanor for a person who knows they have an STD to to have sex with another person. Transmission isn't required for this law. The person can also be charged with Reckless endangerment for unprotected sex while knowingly having an STD. However in the case of lack of knowledge of having one on the part of the person with the STD, or informed consent on the part of the partner, the law likely can't be constitutionally enforced according to the courts.
The NYSDOH went further and stated that the Department “interprets the law as only applying to individuals who knowingly expose another individual to an acute, bacterial venereal disease such as syphilis or gonorrhea.”7 This definition of disease does not encompass HIV. Source: HIV CRIMINALIZATION IN THE UNITED STATES: A SOURCEBOOK ON STATE AND FEDERAL HIV CRIMINAL LAW AND PRACTICE
Unless she has proof of him admitting or apologizing for it after she confronted him. There is also a statute of limitations meaning this girl needs to go file immediately so she can at least try. That would help more than the video even. Also, I know she didn't say his name but I'd be worried he would sue for defamation of character. If she doesn't have hard evidence then he could possibly win that case AND that would be truly sad but again is a major reason why she needs to immediately attempt to pursue whatever legal avenues she can.

@@AlwaysM0ndayy so what? It should be. Do you think angry comments about the situation are gonna do anything? At least that comment informs people of something they might not already know. Don’t spread misinformation if you don’t want corrections in your comment section. The next like 5 top comments aren’t about the quote being a lie.
@epmcgee Wtaf are you talking about? The record of the quote is from 1765 written by Rousseau attributed to a princess. This is when she was 11 before she even went to France. We know this is the origin of the rumor because the story happens the same exact way (someone tells the princess the people don’t have enough bread and she responds that way). There’s technically no evidence that anyone said it at all that story could be completely made up. It’s from a semi-fictional work. No reputable historian believes the quote wasn’t apocryphal. And the idea that you shouldn’t correct something apocryphal in the historic record or accept words attributed without evidence because it might not paint the picture you want is gross. What are Antoinette’s actions that embody that quote? That she was a rich queen spending too much on clothes? She was married off at 14 at the worst possible time in French history then as a woman was easily scapegoated for the financial crisis with her spending. Because it was politically much easier to blame the whole thing on a woman doing too much shopping than actually asses the entire nobility’s much larger role, the role of climatic factors affecting the harvest, and the role of spending on the American revolution.
More people have experiences with money problems and detest elitism than there are people who have any chance of sleeping with this Kyle dude. There's also misogny and possibly victim blaming wrapped up in the latter statement, unfortunately.
This is disappointing, I was able to get past the met gala thing because it just seemed like a poor choice with horrible timing, nothing truly malicious on her part, just a celebrity being out of touch. However, this man is a danger to women and should NOT be given a platform. Yes he is the root of the problem, but if haley knew the allegations then she is also partly at fault for ignoring them and putting him in a position to have access to even more women. I hope his victims' stories get enough traction that no one else falls for this man's lies in the future.
For me, the Met Gala actually has something good going for it. And it's something we can actually enjoy as normal people. But it was a major chip against her and the beginning of the end.

@enochianbard9411 personally, I will ALWAYS believe a woman until proven otherwise in a society where no one believes women when they are victims of assault. If this man really did knowingly put her at risk for an STD, then that certainly qualifies as something I would, as a woman, be holding him accountable for until proven otherwise. Especially if he is trying to "get with" haley. I'm not saying she should come out and condemn him without proof, but her actions are the exact opposite of female solidarity.

French here, a bit off topic but I thought I would share. Marie Antoinette never said “qu’ils mangent de la brioche » (let them eat cake). A famous writer and philosopher, Jean Jacques Rousseau, invented it to tarnish her reputation and make her a symbol of the out of touch elite who deserved to be kill. Marie Antoinette was actually a very young, isolated and sweet woman. She was brought in France and left there with no one’s and no knowledge on anything. She actually apologised to her executor when she step on his foot right before he beheaded her. For me Marie Antoinette is a way more complicated and likeable figure then we think. I also think her fake legacy is rooted in some sort of sexism. Rousseau is known for his sexism and his poor views on women. Not trying to defending royals or anything, just trying to share some knowledge ! Merciiii
Thanks for your appreciation ! Seeing all the comments being mad at the Marie antoinette thing I was sure I would be crucified ahaha ! Just though it was important for an informative channel to be correct on these stuffs !
This is beyond the point and issue at hand. Marie Antoinette wasnt a good persona at all. So defending her reputation is crazy and wild to me. Shes dead, NOBODY CARES.
Well, I think that when you present yourself as an informative UA-camr you have to be careful with your informations. He could have just said « which she never said but that not the point, look it up ». Also, I’m French and I studied history at a bachelor level and literature and philosophy at a master one so I’m not choosing anything. Saying there is no report she didn’t say it is insane. You can’t prove something that doesn’t exist. And WE KNOW Rousseau invented it. The exécuteur thing is also on record. Also, I care because this quote is rooted in sexism and xenophobia. She is dead alright but she a historical figure. I never said she was a good person, just that she isn’t this evil monster she is painted to be and a way more complex figure, a famous and interesting example of the treatment of women through out history. Do you know how the REAL symbol of royal oppression was painted ? Like a poor guy in power at the wrong time with a brillant ingeniere mind. See the difference ? He was in power, she is the disgrace. This is sexism. You don’t care, fine, I do, many people here seem too. Getting mad at me doesn’t change anything and commenting on people about how « this is not the point » is just meta. Do you think policing comments and what people remember is any closer to the topic at hand ? Hope not. Lastly I don’t think misrepresentating a women right at the beginning of a report on the mistreatment of women and the taboo around it is very tasteful. I never said I don’t care about the issue, I’m just not writing an essay about the video here, just voicing my opinion on one thing. Guess I had to write one anyway. Bises !

Yep, they want to make a case against her, so they're pretending she's "lying" about an ex, when that series is clearly satirical. I also thought the Met Gala bit was nonsense - if you're upset about an elitist costume party, take it to Anna Wintour, not some random celebrity influencer who wasn't even invited. At least that's a reasonable thing to call her out for.

I keep seeing those 'stay at home gf' on tiktok like a year ago and I think making a satire content about it is how her internet presence blew up. Those videos are literally the only thing I knew her from. Her billionaire bf videos are always on my YT shorts everytime I'm doom scrolling, kinda surprised other people didn't know about her since YT is force feeding me her shorts.
mad respect to jamie for standing up for herself, and for also respecting her ex's privacy in regards to an STI. sexually active people need to get tested regularly! to be sure of our own safety and those around us & it's incredibly cruel to knowingly pass on an STI without telling your partner. what a POS.
The MET Gala thing was actually really intelligent because “The Garden of Time” is actually a short story about a rich couple who enjoy their time in luxury while everybody else suffers and there’s magic involved that keeps the revolution at bay until one night it runs out and they know they’ll be lynched the next day. So to allude to Marie Antoinette, whose quote is actually misunderstoodand was beheaded for it, was actually really fitting and also fitting with whats going on in the world. I’m not defending everything what’s been going on, but that at least was on brand.
Marie wasn't just sent to the guillotine for supposedly saying that, it was a culmination of prolonged public outrage at the continuing detached excesses of the nobility and royalty in general while the rest of the country was struggling and starving like in the story
@@stephe1506 she actually never said that. The real reason for her execution was that she was blamed for France's economic issues (which were mostly caused by war-borrowing), as well as being accused of treason, and of being a threat to the security of the state. She was from Austria, which was at war with France at the time of her execution, and she had planned to escape to Germany. It wasn't about food, most of the people in government were middle-class, not from the economic class which rioted about food insecurity in the years leading to the revolution.
I thankfully haven’t seen that yet, just a sea of people still getting hung up on the Marie Antoinette thing like her ghost is haunting them personally and she’s going to start breaking stuff if you don’t mention how she never actually said “Let Them Eat Cake”
@@tatiana4050 How do you know? Jamie never specified. She could've led people to think it's herpes when it's really HIV. One is a crime, one isn't. She has cause to lie.
the “she never said that” argument about “let them eat cake” ok but it still represents what it represents. Watching all these celebrities flaunt wealth beside of anti war protests looks dystopian no matter how you frame it.
The comments are kinda odd ngl. I understand the man here is the main issue but I don’t think it’s crazy to ALSO get mad at Hailey for platforming him. Both people are gross here.
I'm gonna be blunt, while the second controversy is obviously very serious, the first one is just a big nothingburger. Yes, I am aware the obvious problem with the Gala, but I personally don't think "content creators/influencers need to talk about ____" will change things. Imo that and the lady and her "digitine" is all just performitive activism. If someone isn't putting their part in, don't make a tiktok about them not doing it and actually contribute. Seriously, the digitine person annoys me since it's not doing anything productive imo.
Like compared to how she kept platforming that other guy, the Marie Antoinette bit was more like nicking yourself shaving than getting your head chopped off
It might be performative activism to you but at the end of the day these people earn money through your engament. We all live in constant performance... so yeah
Thank you. Just because a person doesn't make 100 tweets a day about an issue I think most of the world can agree is horrible, doesn't mean they don't use their means to support the people of palestine.
I get the point, and Jamie was right for trying to share about a potential abuser, but the way that people discuss HIV is so stigmatized. Like. I really do not fuck with the way that non-queer people (and some queer folx too) discuss HIV.
They’re talking about herpes, not HIV. Regardless, I don’t understand why no one is just saying the word, HERPES, and why everyone suddenly seems to be bowing down to this invisible force, acting like they’re facing a guillotine, for saying WORDS. It’s everywhere, suddenly rape is “grape” Pedophile is “pdf” Murder is “unaliving” It’s like we’re living in the 1950’s, Jesus it’s madding
She’s definitely referencing herpes, but you’re right about HIV. It’s just not specific to this conversation, and I think the reasoning for her censorship is just the rules of social media and how platforms will oust or limit content that contains words associated with sexuality. You even see it with some ads - like if you get the queer-directed PrEP ads on UA-cam, they clearly are limiting the content to be ‘palatable’ to the public, even tho they’re literally targeted to mostly gay men/AMAB or other queer people with specific wording like “it’s for us too.” It’s the homophobic larger picture that forces hands a lot on social media, as much because queer content is supressed in general as anything, and I think Jamie wanted to be VERY careful as to what she included that could be auto-moderated because she wanted the largest possible audience to know about Kyle specifically and that men around Hayley may have dangerous histories and questionable character. Not knowing anything else about her, my impression is that Jamie is no more homophobic than any other straight person (which is to say, I have no reason to suspect more homophobia than I automatically assume is normalized by her prior exposure to it and with it). Hope this helps clear up that she was alluding to Herpes and glad you’re spreading awareness where you see the 🚩homophobia associated with the AIDS/HIV conversations ❤🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
People are also speculating that she’s talking about herpes and if that’s the case then the stigma she’s perpetuating is even worse! It’s literally a rash. Nobody is going to jail for a rash. Sure it sucks sometimes but it’s not life threatening like HIV/AIDS can be. I agree the way she’s talking about it, no matter what sti it is, is incredibly dehumanizing.
as someone who was gr00med at 15, i did a ton in my power to tell people what the person did and to not hang out with him, etc for their own safety and well being. seeing people ignore other people for similar manipulative behavior really sucks
I’m really sorry you experienced that and I hope you’ve been able to get the support and healing you need. I’ve been in similar circumstances of trying to “warn” others of a person who abused me and people are determined to remain ignorant and that’s the unfortunate reality in a lot of these cases. I really do hope you’re doing better.
The let them eat cake situation is so stupid. It’s just a funny TikTok. Can nobody make a video quoting someone who was out of touch without be accused.
i never liked haley (or however her name is spelled), i genuinely always got the impression that she was fake and trying way too hard to come off as relatable. she basically always pulled the "i'm so quirky" bit to try and be funny but she was just corny and annoying. i remember commenting on one of her videos where she was trying to fish for relatability points by saying "omg i see all these skinny girls where are their organs" (not a direct quote, more of a paraphrasis)... as if she doesn't look exactly like that herself. she always tried SO HARD to seem like a commoner, but she's simply not, and the met gala cake incident just proved it. i'd blocked her long before the digitine just because i found her so genuinely annoying and fake. i'm honestly not surprised to see that she's hiding a leaky underbelly under her quirky relatable façade. she's rich and spoiled and hasn't realised just how much things have gotten to her head. this is my opinion ofc but i genuinely never liked her 🤷♀
She did all those things for online engagement. They were skits & parodies. She never claimed (at the time at least) that it was who she really was in real life. That's like accusing Tom Cruise of trying to convince folks that he is a strong fighter in real life simply because you watched the action scenes in his movies.
What’s crazy is like people are mad at her for the glamorization of the met gala when things are so horrible in the world all the while they’re spending all this time and wasting effort talking about how bad the met gala is and the displaced state of the world but not actually addressing or vocalizing or advocating for/spreading awareness to the real problems…….
My mom went back to college to become a nurse when I was like 11-12 and she showed me and all my siblings full on real pictures in her book of STD’s and so on. Let me tell you I was beyond traumatized forever after that lol. When you see pictures of both men and women’s privates with blistering, oozing, unreal things, and an array of colors down there, you are like omg please delete from my memory. I was scared sh*tless of STD’s after that. I’m 31 now and also went into nursing and that’s stuck with me to this day. Definitely one way to scare your kids to be as safe as they can. If you have an STD don’t be heartless and affect someone’s life forever if you know about it.
Even though the let them eat cake thing was not so bad, it was distasteful. Her apology, on the other hand, was awful and made her seem awful and fake.
Honestly, if you warn a girl about a guy and she continues to talk to him it’s kind of pointless to get mad at her about it unless you are friends if you don’t even really know her it’s not bothering you, it’s gonna affect her and she’ll find out.
talking to him isn't the problem, if she doesn't feel like ending contact with that guy there's nothing anyone can do. the problem comes with the platform she's giving that guy, showing him off to millions of people who don't know this guy's history
Women and any person defending abusers and manipulators is so heartbreaking. You can't confront a manipulator and ask for an explanation from them. Hailey should've believed Jamie or at least try to seek for manipulative patterns and then decide on her own. Like imagine meeting someone and then get a warning about MANIPULATION, like the basis of a manipulator is that they WILL manipulate their way out ?? It's the same as asking someone if they commited a crime, you think they'd ever recognize it if they know they're gonna lose everything ?
I don't mean to say I understand this specific situation, but antivirals like valacyclovir are not JUST used for genital herpes, they can also be used for cold sores. So don't immediately assume a person has genital herpes if you see them taking this drug.
I have a hard time believing that she didn't know what that sound was all about because she executed it way too perfectly in her video. It's too spot on to be a coincidence. She is playing dumb
The woman is 100% right about needing to discuss STIs, STDs, and HIVs with your partner. Its wrong to not. I have no issues against people with herpes. My partner got them from a young age from a family member that kissed him as a child and didnt know they had it. He let me know, and I'm marrying him. I want to live my life with him. So it doesnt bother me if I get it. But I love him so much for telling me and giving me the CHOICE, ya know? Never take that choice away from someone. Its not right.
Marie Antoinette was 9yrs old & being abused when this quote circulated..i wonder who really said it. The cake quote has NOTHING on this 😮! Actually, i never thought it made sense to talk about. & all the while, nobody talks about this! Wtf,priorities are OFF.
How people are having sex with others without seeing thenmost recent sti testing isnwild. As someone in healthcare, yes, yes, you should both get teated for everything before you get together. This will save you a lot of trouble and heartache in the future
Just gonna say people are stupid and hypocritical. Where is this energy for the people with money that actually have power? Keep watching Disney, buying from Amazon, getting Apple products, and buying over priced items made in sweat shops. But Hailey is the issue. Yeah ok. So delulu, smh
I honestly think the let them eat cake controversy was so stupid, very few people would think that the costume would be a stab against those suffering around the world, I would just think of fun dress and this sound matches, WHO CARES, what people should care about it EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE VIDEO it’s insane
@Idkwhat2puttt The thing is,when the drama was ongoing,no one was talking about her apology or how dumb it was, they ere all talking about the cake video. Then after the apology, the comments I kept seeing were also talking about the cake video so I didn't even know there was an apology until I searched
Haley is truly a bad person. No defending her though i would like to point out that "let them eat cake" was never said by Marie Antoinette. It was created way before she came into frace and even though her contribution in making the French economy brutal is undeniable she was in fact a woman who had little to no power in the decision the king made (not to mention she was 19...still a teen.) She's hated because it was easier to target her. Honestly people need to know the treatment she went through because that's a whole another issue. Again I'd like to point out that this is in no way related Haley and her behaviour, i just wanted to point out a part of history that most people aren't aware of
Those videos with Kyle seemed super weird to me before I even knew who he was or heard this behind the scenes story about it all. The whole thing has just been very very weird. I don't care about the quote, but between Kyle and her videos with JoJo Siwa, I'm starting to think she just doesn't care if people are abusive or problematic. It's becoming a pattern.
I used to follow Haylee, then unfollowed 3 days later as her videos give negative vibes for me. Trust me it feels good deleting and unfollowing people who give bad vibes to you!
She now stopped posting him and he private his account and if u search then up the internet is literally practically completely wiped of it probably because this poor girl finally came forward online
As someone who works in public health (specifically infectious diseases like HIV), this is a very upsetting story but not for the reason people think. Someone having an STD and taking treatment for it does not make them a bad person at all, and all this is doing is increasing the stigma around having an STD and receiving treatment. Also, having an STD does not automatically mean you can pass it on to another person (for example: U=U for HIV, Undetectable = Untransmittable). If they reside in a state that has it as a mandatory requirement to disclose your status, then you should do so. But if you are having safe sex and do not need to disclose, then you have every right to that privacy. Upsetting that this man's sexual health has been blasted for the world to see when it sounds like this woman's main issue is that he is an asshole. Unless she adds additional information, it does not appear that she was at risk of acquiring said STD.
Sorry, but I heavily disagree. I used to sleep with a guy casually who had a disease that could only be transmitted when he was having an outbreak. He was always upfront and honest with me. Had he made excuses for when he couldn't have sex and had lied, I would have been absolutely livid and would not have been able to trust him a moment longer. It should *ALWAYS* be disclosed regardless.
@@taylorbug9 that's a completely different situation from an STI that is virologically suppressed through medication. and FYI that's not true at all, if you're talking about HSV/herpes, it can be transmitted at any time--not just during a symptom flare. if you had unprotected sex with him, you were at risk of acquiring the same STI, period. same goes for hepatitis. most people infected with HSV don't know they have it, or don't show symptoms [lesions etc] until years after first being infected.
@cd842 agreed. this is atrocious behaviour on her part TBH. there is an incredible amount of stigma & misinformation surrounding STI/Ds and things like this just absolutely exacerbate it. reminds me of the old "watch out for VD" propaganda you saw back in the 40s-50s [ETA: nevermind the horrible implication she made around it being potentially HIV until flashing a statistic....that most people won't recognise...or a common STI. that's just insane to me. mindbogglingly gross]
This is very interesting. Although i believe you should disclose your status if you are sleeping with someone (afterall, they should have a choice), im more understanding.
My understanding of New York department of health standards are that providers must report new cases to the department and can offer contact information for any previous partners or anyone they have shared a needle with. I think it’s important to be honest and disclose this to someone before sleeping with them but blasting someone’s health history online and basically shaming them out of the public eye is a pretty scary precedent to set. Especially if they are being treated and U=U.
10:24 Now that’s another level of despicable and disgusting behaviour. And I’m not talking about the medical condition, that should not be a concern or a source of shame, but the fact he didn’t care about protecting the people around him (he was supposed to care about or love), WOW.
It’s shows how mediocrity shines. I remember when Haily (Haile?) had 100,000 subscribers. She was funny, but her climb to 1 million was incredibly fast for someone offering a few skits here and there. There are some UA-camrs who work hard AF for years AND have great content, and are sitting on 200,000 subs.
Marie Antoinette never dressed anything like that. The phrase was definitely never spoken by her, it was first used in Jean-Jacques Rousseau's Confessions in 1765, when she was 9.
Little side rant: Marie Antoinette *never said* “let them eat cake” or anything even remotely close. This is one of my absolute biggest historical pet peeves. She was actually by all accounts a loving mother and a caring woman. Her son was taken from her at 7, forced to drink alcohol, abused sexually, and then forced to say his mother did it. When she refused to entertain the accusation in the notoriously absurd and justifies “Revolutionary Tribunals” she said “if I have not replied, it is because Nature itself refuses to respond to such a charge laid against a mother”. Her last words were an apology to the executioner for accidentally stepping on his foot as she walked to the GUILLOTINE. THATS are verifiable, historical facts. That woman was so grossly abused and the lies need to stop.
Anyone who says “im a girls girl” is immediately a red flag to me There was no need for her to say that to her, just saying “thank you for letting me know, i appreciate it” etc is enough you legit don’t need to say “I’m a girls girl” as if to prove something Its not a “girls girl” or “men are trash” kinda issue, its a recognizing someone is taking advantage of others kinda issue and should be taken seriously. She clearly did not care
She didn't attend the Met she was hired to interview/host. So, I'm not sure why people are **upset** she went to the Met? I don't follow her, nor do I have TikTok. I only know about her from videos like this. But she even said in this video that she was a host. She's crazy for paying $17,000 a month!! People in New York City are a different breed of people. The cost of living there is way different than in most of the US. She can do whatever she wants with the money she has earned. People need to butt out of others' money issues and worry about their own!
I personally feel depending on the state laws that charges need to be filed for his man. If he is knowingly possibly spreading an incurable STD without disclosing it to his partners then he needs to be convicted of that as that can cause someones life not only to change, but can cause them deep depressed and ultimately kts over it...

Having an STI and sleeping with someone (thereby exposing them to an STI by deception by not disclosing it to them) is absolutely criminal. In some cases, I think that can be considered battery or assault. So fucking sick. Glossing over that fact is kinda weird.
I believe in New York it's considered attempted murder.
dont quote me on this but im 99% sure in canada, if you sleep with someone while knowingly having an STI/STD and not informing the other person its considered assault in 100% of cases
Not in California, they went out of their way to decriminalize knowingly and intentionally exposing someone to STDs, STIs including HIV/AIDS.
Your correct, just like if you spit on someone that’s also considered assault. And you can be arrested
Its cra,y

Then when he was finally banned from a few places for being an abuser, he threw a crying woe is me fit, had his old roommate accuse me of this happening to him when HA no, it was other people.

The NYSDOH went further and stated that the Department “interprets the law as only applying
to individuals who knowingly expose another individual to an acute, bacterial venereal disease such as
syphilis or gonorrhea.”7 This definition of disease does not encompass HIV.

@@fossilwitch2725 That's just the thing tho, without proof, without receipts, it's JUST an accusation. Are we really tryna hold someone accountable for ignoring LITERAL HEARSAY?

Merciiii
You bet me to this comment. I’m so glad someone has put this here.
Bises !

Good god a lot of people in this comment section don’t understand how HIV works.
I don't think it's hiv...I think it's herpes
I thankfully haven’t seen that yet, just a sea of people still getting hung up on the Marie Antoinette thing like her ghost is haunting them personally and she’s going to start breaking stuff if you don’t mention how she never actually said “Let Them Eat Cake”
This isn't even about HIV.
@@tatiana4050it’s still very relevant.
Its a law here that you HAVE to tell people about your STI or you can literally go to prisom
It’s everywhere, suddenly rape is “grape”
Pedophile is “pdf”
Murder is “unaliving”
It’s like we’re living in the 1950’s, Jesus it’s madding
She’s definitely referencing herpes, but you’re right about HIV. It’s just not specific to this conversation, and I think the reasoning for her censorship is just the rules of social media and how platforms will oust or limit content that contains words associated with sexuality. You even see it with some ads - like if you get the queer-directed PrEP ads on UA-cam, they clearly are limiting the content to be ‘palatable’ to the public, even tho they’re literally targeted to mostly gay men/AMAB or other queer people with specific wording like “it’s for us too.”
It’s the homophobic larger picture that forces hands a lot on social media, as much because queer content is supressed in general as anything, and I think Jamie wanted to be VERY careful as to what she included that could be auto-moderated because she wanted the largest possible audience to know about Kyle specifically and that men around Hayley may have dangerous histories and questionable character.
I think they mean Herpes though...?
Pretty sure they were talking about herpes. Either way, she has a right to afraid and upset about being unknowingly put at risk for an STI
@@BananaGrace thank you
Marie Antoinette never said, “Let them eat cake.” It was all propaganda. As a History teacher, I had to correct that.
My point exactly. However, it just evolved into an expression with negative connotations 😕
I mean she also collabs with Jared Leto who's an alleged abuser as well
The let them eat cake situation is so stupid.
Fun fact I (150 followers) got two channel strikes for commenting on Hailey’s channel about this drama!
respectfully, why did she need to call it 'digitine' 💀💀🙏 it sounds like another franchise of undertale
Wouldn't be the first time. She collabs with many unsavory people.
That would make sense if they were average people. This is about an influencer using her platform to promote a shady guy to thousands
"It is my job as a content creator to apologise..." made me cackle lol
This will save you a lot of trouble and heartache in the future
a lot of people are actually nasty 🤮
Just gonna say people are stupid and hypocritical.
Where is this energy for the people with money that actually have power?
Keep watching Disney, buying from Amazon, getting Apple products, and buying over priced items made in sweat shops.
But Hailey is the issue. Yeah ok. So delulu, smh
I honestly think the let them eat cake controversy was so stupid, very few people would think that the costume would be a stab against those suffering around the world, I would just think of fun dress and this sound matches, WHO CARES, what people should care about it EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE VIDEO it’s insane
why is haylee getting all the hate and attention instead of that literal criminal???
I still find no issue about the cake video and I still think the hate was unnecessary, but her promoting a liar is something to talk about
I don't think the video itself was an issue, but claiming to not be an elite is just ridiculous and out of touch imo
She now stopped posting him and he private his account and if u search then up the internet is literally practically completely wiped of it probably because this poor girl finally came forward online
what was his name or @?
Aaaannnd they deleted everything together
yep i checked her yt shorts
@@plantsnthings9140i also checked her insta and tiktok aswell
As someone who works in public health (specifically infectious diseases like HIV), this is a very upsetting story but not for the reason people think. Someone having an STD and taking treatment for it does not make them a bad person at all, and all this is doing is increasing the stigma around having an STD and receiving treatment. Also, having an STD does not automatically mean you can pass it on to another person (for example: U=U for HIV,
Undetectable = Untransmittable).
@cd842 agreed. this is atrocious behaviour on her part TBH. there is an incredible amount of stigma & misinformation surrounding STI/Ds and things like this just absolutely exacerbate it. reminds me of the old "watch out for VD" propaganda you saw back in the 40s-50s
[ETA: nevermind the horrible implication she made around it being potentially HIV until flashing a statistic....that most people won't recognise...or a common STI. that's just insane to me. mindbogglingly gross]
Especially if they are being treated and U=U.
people being mad over that “let them eat cake” tik tok is one of the most chronically online things I’ve ever seen
fr
Little side rant:
Marie Antoinette *never said* “let them eat cake” or anything even remotely close.
Anyone who says “im a girls girl” is immediately a red flag to me
There was no need for her to say that to her, just saying “thank you for letting me know, i appreciate it” etc is enough
you legit don’t need to say “I’m a girls girl” as if to prove something
Its not a “girls girl” or “men are trash” kinda issue, its a recognizing someone is taking advantage of others kinda issue and should be taken seriously. She clearly did not care
its crazy how we keep making thi people famous
It's the simps
Exactly 💯
She didn't attend the Met she was hired to interview/host. So, I'm not sure why people are **upset** she went to the Met? I don't follow her, nor do I have TikTok. I only know about her from videos like this. But she even said in this video that she was a host. She's crazy for paying $17,000 a month!! People in New York City are a different breed of people. The cost of living there is way different than in most of the US. She can do whatever she wants with the money she has earned. People need to butt out of others' money issues and worry about their own!
I saw Kyle in one of her videos and he immediately creeped me out. I’m not religious, but he radiated demon vibes.
Also just to say, turns out Haley went to some Met Gala after parties so… Not entirely true that she went home after.
I personally feel depending on the state laws that charges need to be filed for his man. If he is knowingly possibly spreading an incurable STD without disclosing it to his partners then he needs to be convicted of that as that can cause someones life not only to change, but can cause them deep depressed and ultimately kts over it...
