The additional problem comes when they smash the window which causes having to replace it. I had to pay $480 out of pocket, insurance deductible was $500. And btw, there was nothing in my car for the scumbag to steal.
Manufacturers alarms don’t work. After market alarms with perimeter and shock sensor. Security tint prevents glass breakage. There’s been 3 unsuccessful attempts to break into my car so far. You can take your manufacturer alarm to an alarm shop and they can add options to it.
Lmao, my old ford would randomly set off the alarm if you opened an unlocked door. It’s supposed to only do that once you’ve locked the doors then unlocked them without the key and opened it. But it was a crap shoot as to whether or not you’d set off the alarm anytime you opened a door that was unlocked. Scared the crap out of my cat during me moving residences, he tried to jump out the passenger window when I went to open the drivers door and it sat the alarm off, the window was up, legs were flying everywhere 😂 no he wasn’t hurt, just didn’t understand what just happened. Btw, there was a passenger holding him, he wasn’t just running around the car as I was driving. His moving crate broke and that was our last trip, so the passenger just held him on the drive. I had opened that door and every other door half a dozen times before they got inside and no alarm got set off, but it just so happened then.
So why did the question never get answered?? No one said why your alarm did not go off when the window was broke. A window busting should be part of the security. Basically, you need to get an aftermarket sensitive alarm system that will go off at the slightest touch. There is your answer!!
Someone is getting into my Infiniti q50 through the side of the door.. there are scratches on the inside/outside of door between the seam and its been more than once.. I don't know if they robbed my signal once and then turned off or messed with my wiring but there are consistent new scratches inside and out of where the door meets the latch to close, on the same side, in different areas around the latch. My alarm should be set but it NEVER goes off. It has glitched out once when I opened door with key. I have turned off intelligent sensors to open by touch and remote engine start. I also now put my key in an rfid bag.. although once i did find the key half hanging out of the bag The key itself seemed to have been opened as you would do for a battery change.. it was not fitting back into the fob and thats how i noticed.. but that was inside my house, and i shudder at the thought of this person being in there.. but i wouldn't doubt it) They're not doing it to rob me.. it's someone stalking me. Im currently meeting with different people about this, but I would love to hear what other people hear think.. it's possible the person doing this might be auto savvy i.e. mechanic or autoglass person. This may be unrelated, but i recently had a tire change after a flat.. warning light was still on after the change showing the tire full but tire was still red. Warning light was on for three days but then went off as if it had reset, but now the brakepads for that tire seem gone completely, and they were fine before then.. this could be regular wear and tear, but I should still be getting a warning light for it, and I'm not.. the day the warning light went off for that tire was one of the days someone had entered the vehicle. The fusebox has been very obviously entered before because there was mud and tape from when the car was new scrunched to the side. I have never been inside that area of the car. They have scralled "fu" with a paperclip above my glove box and an X by where the lock iz; another by where they guessed the latch for that met. They also did some damage to underneath (I keep it locked with nothing in it just to mess with whoever it is but its obviously been at my expense.) They leave sunvisors down with the mirror open etc in an attempt to drain battery etc I need to know how they're getting in.. people are gonna say get a camera.. I don't think it would even work.
Maris (sp?), the next to the last thing you mentioned was the best thing, bar a car jacking... Aftermarket alarm systems! These guys no longer even think about having to defeat the higher level auto alarms.. OR, for you cheap skates.. A simple radio shack starter relay switch... Super cheap.. Like a blown starter fuse you can flip when you step out..
2005 gmc sierra Mine was stolen the other night thank god On star located it But i watched the security footage you can see the guy go to my driver side for about a minute then back to the front of the car then back to my driver door and he opens it and never saw or herd the alarm go off. He popped out my door lock. He couldnt of copied the signal from my key fob since i never use it. Anyone know how he did it? Because even when i use a wedge to slide thru my door and pump it open to get a bar to push my unlock lever. As soon as i open the doory alarm goes off
Ya see I have a beater car “93 Toyota Camry” and a fun car “2012 mustang gt”. I drive the pos car to do groceries and other needs, and the mustang for weekends. I could care less if the Camry got broken into because it’s a 300k mile 400$ car 😂
If you think an old beater car is less protected, you're wrong, as new technology of keyless ignition type system are easy to exploit by crooks, and same principle applies to garage remote openers with set codes or scramble codes. It's like Joaquin Phoenix with a tin foil hat, build one for your car key 😄
This didn't really help
Didn't show how they bypass the alarm or get in without setting it off. 👎🏼

Clearly they smash the window
To be fair, then they would be teaching everyone else how to do it.
fr wtf im tryna learn
Expert: “I’d just hop over the window to grab the valuable and boom no car alarm”

Yeah something else to worry about.
Sorry what happened to you.
Well this didn’t answer the question they said they were gonna answer
that last name oh my god

Hi do you recommend any particular alarm system or business that can add those features? Thanks
Rather have them open door than pay a window price. Just buy bar for breaks and steering so they won’t steal it and take all valuables
U need shock sensors factory alarms don’t fire off when u break the window if u open the door from the inside it will go off
Add a shock sensor on factory alarm not too bad

I need to change my surname pronto. This is gold.
This didn't answer a single question they asked in the video. Was the guy they interviewed that incompetent? Gave the same answer anyone would know
the news just taught me how to steal
You won’t get any money off
This stuff lmao

Buy sensor for the each window that will detect even light taps
You talking bout the red things that flash in car at night time

Install alarm but have the installer to bypass the auto door look switch to leave doors unlocked ... When they open the door, the alarm will go off
This told me nothing
Get an eu import. They normally come with motion sensors so then a hand is in the car through the window, alarm goes off
I have my car set to explode in a ball of flame 2000 ° F if you break the window
B#*** We KNOW HOW TF TO LOCK THE CAR!!!! That’s not what we was talkin about…🤬😡🤦🏾♂️
Install some Alcatraz steel mats inside for each car windows, front and rear windshields too. Criminals get even smarter by the day haha.
My car doesnt even have a way to to unlock or lock the door with on the door... i have to use a key fob lmao... this was useless

factory alarm's are sh*t aftermarket one's are what you
Get a Volvo , then Lock your car pushing the button OUTSIDE the door handle ,No codes to be read off key fob
Soooooo. Don't leave stuff in your car and lock it. What would I do without Merris Badcock?
Click BAIT news video...worst than car thieves
i don’t feel safe nomo
Lol so what if the rear door was unlocked and the electrical wasn't working then
