Regarding the PRANG watercolors, after I said they were available as individual pans on Amazon, I can only find them in dozens. amzn.to/333NWpG *
Sorry about that!

I love Whataburger. It was a treat when we were children, and now i am 68 & it still is a treat!!! ♥️♥️♥️
From the go, I totally get it. I connected with you so much. I was talking to my neighbor. She sees me woodworking for the kids school, sewing, making books. These are only a few of the thing. I came to realize, maybe I have too many hobbies. Leaving some unfinished projects. I wasn’t always like this. Now that I’m a stay home mom with my kids. I feel I get less done with more time. When I had no time, I did so much more?? Crazy. I love all kinds of styles, I guess it depends on my moods? My moods control my style? I like that you take class. If my hands are not busy, my mind is and that’s no always good. I ll take what you have to share, as you do inspire me with your style 🥰.
You silly girl, you do have a style. That’s why we all love your channel. Glad you are back.
Louise
Wow!
Fellow artist here and always seeking out inspiration. I have really hit a road block in my creativity….ever since the pandemic.
I just found your you tube channel and have been binge watching them! I journal daily and have used Hobonichi since 2017. Can’t seem to break away from my hobos…..however, because of you, I have just purchased composition notebooks and the binding tape! I need something to excite me again and your company videos have done just that! Thank YOU!
Now I am hoping to see more videos from you, please!!!
"I do have a style, I just don't like it." That made me chuckle. We are never happy with our own work. You need to step back.
I made an Egyptian wood carving of a scribe with a fellow class mate for an Art History class in high school. I wasn't happy with it, but my friend who worked on it with me wanted to keep it, I was fine with that. She has it hanging over her bed today. I asked to see it, 40 years later... It wasn't that bad, it fact it was kind of cool...Then I realized that we are too hard on ourselves.
I'm getting caught up on videos I missed. It was so sweet to see your daughter's journal. Really enjoyed that.
Your quote about not giving up because you don't know who is inspired is so good. Back when I just started to get over being too shy to leave a comment, there was a small channel I loved that shut down. And the creator said it would have been nice if people would have commented more. That taught me to comment on channels I like. This ties back to your channel because I found you right when it sounded like you were going to give up (to me, it sounded that way and it scared me). I really didn't want to see you go, so yes, that is a true quote.
Hi! Melanie. I missed you very much. I'm happy to see this video and all the things you 've doing these crazy montns. I love your dress and all the clothes you have made. You 're a very talented lady and love all your art and sewing journals, truly an inspiration!! I live in Mexico and I'm happy you visited years ago. Yours daughter journal is beautiful. Thank you for all you teach and share. Please take care and many blessing to all your family. Sorry for my english. Hugs! Betty
So happy to see a video from you.
I *love* your journaling style so much! Can’t wait for your next video! 😁
So nice to hear from you again!!! 🌿🎈 And...you have a Style. Sorry to hear you don’t like it. But I think I can relate. It’s definitely easier to think well of others (styles) then of one’s own... 🌳 All the best to you!
Yes your a awesome inspiration, I found you on UA-cam yesterday and I’ve been hooked. I’m going through a lot of your videos and tomorrow I’ll share it with my mom and sister .
I've missed you. I'm looking forward to whatever you share, whenever. But sooner would be really swell! Thank you for the peek into your May Journal.
I can’t even tell you how excited I was to see your notification. I am still watching as I am commenting here. You’re showing your watercolors. Find YARKA watercolors. Those are the best I’ve ever used with my students, they have the most pigment ever.
👋🏻 so glad to see you even just for now! Miss your videos!
I have to say. I have MISSED your videos more than I can say. I have wanted to reach out to check on you but I'm not really sure how. Your videos inspire me so much. I'm sorry to hear about your father in law. Prayers being sent. I'm having the same issue with clothes I think it's the stress and the lack of being able to go places.
Just catching up with you. Your daughter's journal is amazing! I'd love to see more flip thrus from her! So cute!! I just LOVE when you give us a glimpse into your journals
Melanie it was so good to see you post a video. These are wicked times were going thru.i love your journals and all the updates on your life. I'll wait to see how it goes with your father in law. Your stories are so heartwarming and it's so odd how you can get so involved with someone you don't know.....youre right someone is watching you and you are inspiring them. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to your next video.❤❤❤❤🤞
So happy to have you back! You ARE inspiring!
I’ve been wondering about you...good to have you back!
Greetings! I'm a new subscriber and I love your chatty videos. Thank you for sharing your work with us. Blessings 🙏❤️
Like so many here, I love your style! I love how honest and brave you are., and also you are witty. It has been a rough year.
Nice to see you back. Sorry you've had a difficult few months. It's been so hard hasn't it. Crafting keeps us going xxx Catherine
I think we have all been feeling the same way you mentioned in the beginning of this video. But then like you I decided to make the best of it and start working on my projects. Love the dress you made yourself. I too have had a waistline issue (my friend calls it the COVID 10 LOL) and as a result I have found myself wearing more dresses as they are cooler and more freeing. Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to try making my own. Can't wait to see your next video.
Oh Melanie, I like you more with each video. I'm an active video gamer myself. I think our generation was the first to really have video games and we've grown with them, so they became a big part of our lives. And, BTW, you have a magnificent style! :) Haters gonna hate, please try not to let them get to you, but I know that's hard to ignore. Your subbies love you and your art. :)
Edit: (I should really learn to watch full videos before commenting! ) WTG Shaye - thank you for sharing your journal - it was awesome! )
I told myself this morning I should find your email and check on you....and then your notification popped up. Another super video Melanie.
Im in love with your works😭🥺🧡
I have afib so I totally understand. I’ve had my heart shocked 2 times and it didn’t last long. So I have to live with it and take meds.
I was soooooo over the moon excited when I saw that you had posted a video! I was actually about to head to bed and said NOPE! I’m watching. Then I saw another one posted and I’m thinking I struck paydirt! I stayed up too late but it was soooooo worth it!
oh my gosh. I Love your style!!! I'm a fairly new subbie and most definetly going to do a binge sesh of all your vids. I noticed you do hand embroidery too. I do too:) You are awesome at putting bright beautiful colors together!! luvv! I totally understand. I havent been wanting to talk much either. Been fighting off coronavirus. It's awful! Some (not all) people just do not care to wear masks down here South. Anyway, just want you to know that I'm so grateful to have found your channel. Im excited and grateful to see that you combine hand stitches and gorgeous color combinations into beautiful art. I love it!! I'm so sorry for your loss. I know the feeling all too well :( We will get through this. stay well. stay trucking. ty for sharing with us!

Omg!!!! I’m so excited to see a video from you! Yay!! I was just about to go to bed and I was like hold up...... lol I’ll be going to bed a little later tonight.
I love animal crossing :) would love to see your island 🏝 I’m constantly terraforming so I’m never done lol
In 1985 my family and I left Romania and came to United States. I mark it as my freedom year, it was our 1776 and our Independence Day was September 16.
This is amazing
Hi Melanie! I've been thinking of you :-) Thanks for sharing, hugs!
I saw that your next video was up this morning but now I can’t find it ?
My daughter Bekkah has a history with Pier One too.......
I so love seeing your journals and hearing you share. It’s nice to know I’m not the only composition lover out there. I want to get more creative in mine. I’m curious if you paint pages before you journal on them or you work page by page?
Do you have a video showing how you mapped your journals out of the composition books? This video shows 3 journals and the inside oh one but I wonder how you made the journals, covered the front and back and painted the pages etc? Thank you
Hi Lindy, see if this video helps. It's how I prep my comp books to use for journals - including how I make the covers. Enjoy! ua-cam.com/video/AjN_osbsaYs/v-deo.html
oops Forgot......My sister-in-law was a Manager of a Pier 1. South Philly across from a ginormous Ikea. She was there a long time!
Sorry you had to go through that.
I had a good may and June
Do you use watercolors to paint your pages or bottled paint?
If I'm covering the entire page, I usually use acrylic. I have a variety of little bottles of craft acrylic, but I also use tube acrylics sometimes. The craft acrylics have a tendency to be chalky. Hope that helps!
@@MelanieSullivan Thank you! I'm going to be binging on your videos. Love your style!
Miss u girl
What does your husband think of all your creative endeavors? Does he do art too?
The key to having your husband support every creative endeavor you take on is that HIS creative endeavor be bigger and more expensive than yours. In my case, my husband builds and flies airplanes. Not the remote control kind, but actual airplanes. 🛩✈ He's a private pilot and currently we have two airplanes, one is a vintage Piper 4-seater and the other is a small, one-seat aerobatic plane he built himself.
I met my husband in high school; we went on our first date when I was 15. We've been together for 32 years and have been married for 27. He's my soulmate in every sense.
Don't tell me you had a bad May 2020 i had a good May 2020
