This was a brilliant programmed for a council estate kid in the 80s. You could watch posh tw@s skiing into trees and falling over and getting airlifted off the mountain, brilliant theme tune and it was even better if you were watching it eating an arctic roll, vienetta or angel delight (pink). No one ever gave a f**k who won because it was always the Austrians.
Насколько диапазон технических приемов Марка шире, чем у других спортсменов на тот момент. Многое он делает просто по-другому и намного эффективнее! Браво Марк и спасибо создателям ролика!
One of the cameramen Sturt Fitzimmons was amazing, he nearly had a good olympic career but ended up carrying a massively heavy camera following them down. he was actually a bit fast for some and i think collided with Tomba? but he was an edinburgh schoolboy who learned and practiced at hillend in Edinburgh like I did. i think i was once in the same Boyd Anderson trphy race as him. he was super cool, tight levis when levis made real jeans and a brilliant skier.
They showed the whole thing with a helicopter and a man with a huge camera. It's also a 40 minute show so they can't show every single run in full. It was just highlights.
Still get goosebumps when that Human League track comes in behind David Vine's reading of the racers. Beautiful stuff.
I loved Sunday nights watching Ski Sunday then getting ready for school back in the 80's!!!!!!!!Happy times!!
fantastic to see,Tomba was my hero, not taking away from the rest of the guys, thankyou so much for uploading the footages said already,GREAT MEMORIES

Man I wish they didn't show so little of the track back in the 80's.
