This is so helpful! I’ve been wearing wigs for three years, and I’m ready to try a human hair wig. Even if you find a synthetic wig you love, it’s worn out in a couple of months. I think we need to find a colorist for human hair wigs.
I can give you some names for the US, but I'm still searching here in 🇨🇦. Thanks for your kind words. If I can help at all with your human hair hunt, please let me know.
These are incredibly boring. Why are we buying these? Is this for hair loss issues? Even so... add some length! This particular woman promoting them is not ancient. I do not mean to offend but really. Live a little if you're spending this type a bread on good hair.
That last wig looks amazing on you. The first two look really nice too. I could never pay $4K for a wig mainly because my wigs don't last very long. I take very good care of them, use professional products and bottled water (I have well water-not good for human hair), but they don't last very long. I purchased an $80 wig from Belaved on Amazon and love it more than my "premium" wig. Thank you for this video. I hope you do another after you wear these awhile and wash them. I'd like to see them after washing.😊
Totally understand - it's really the premium hand-tied cap that drives uo the price because of labour, but it isn't for everyone. Pretty well all of my pieces are now shown with wash tests, but I could do a video showing all three side by side after prolonged washing and wearing. Stay tuned - they've all been worn in a bit now. 😊
That's a good idea, but I will saybthat their topper prices aren't as competitive as their prices currently. I might suggest uniwigs for a budget topper.
Wow! Thats the most helpful Video I've ever seen about wigs. And I like your attitude towards wearing wigs and thinking about if others could see it. I'm new to the wig business and thats tbh my main issue. Hope in the future I can start to think like you! Also I can identify to you very well. My head is also small, I still got bio hair in the exact same shade as you (ashy level 6) and my skin tone is neutral so not all lace colors look great on me. Its very rare to find someone thats so similar to me. I think I will try the company Wigshe, but the style you got looks a lot darker than our natural level 6 shade. Maybe the style Wig006 could suit you better? It looks a lot ashier and lighter on other reviews than your style right now. That was also a complaint of yours so maybe you can check the other style out :)
I have another 2 pieces from them on the way, so I'll see how they work on me for colour. One is definitely lighter than this, so I'm excited for it. Thank you for writing; it's always nice to meet someone who has similar colouring as me too! Please let me know how your journey goes, and if I can be of help ever, please let me know! Finally, thanks for your kind words. They mean so, so much. 💕
Congrats on your first year as a wig wearer! Synthetics are great for so many reasons - I love having them in my rotation. If you ever have questions about human hair, please don't be shy!
Hi Ashley! I loved the video....I got totally absorbed in it and felt like we were just chatting. You are so good at this. I'd like to get in contact with you again and run some questions past you at some point in the new year. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Xx
I have watched and enjoyed your videos. Love you are also in Canada. I have a question. I still have bangs so I don’t know which kind of topper to get. Lace doesn’t work well I find but mono it says you need to use your bio hair to brush back over it to blend. Do I don’t see being able to do that when I have bangs. 🤷♀️ please help
Thank you for taking the time to write. ❤️ You can cut bangs into any piece, but I definitely suggest a silk top because they have such natural looking scalps. The struggle for many with silk is blending into bio hair and extra hair at the front, but if you will be cutting bangs into it, neither of these issues will apply. Please let me know if this helps!
The color on the first one looks amazing on you. I don't like how the lace looks though. The second one looks the most natural. I think you may be able to get the same effect on the first one from the second one if that makes sense.
Thank you for weighing in! It's neat to get a different opinion. I agree that #2 has natural density, but #1 lace is the best match on my skin. #2 is a bit more pink, but that really works for a lot of people. I appreciate that you took the time to write.
@@lifebeyondlocks@lifebeyondlocks Sometimes it's hard to tell from a monitor, but I'm glad it works for you. You definitely rock them well! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for this video the first wig looked too bulky and thick and not natural the second one for me look the most natural on you but the third one the colour suited you better I didn’t think the third one looked as natural on you as the second one, saying that though if I was rich I would buy from the second company highline but to be honest I wouldn’t purchase any of these wigs as they are way too overpriced and I have seen other wig companies do exactly the same type of wigs for cheaper but this was a great video really appreciated it❤
I love that Mousse color. Do you find that it pulls red in the sunlight? That's my biggest concern with lighter browns, they tend to lean ginger after a while and that is the absolute last thing I want.
Great question! The mousse is an ashier brown for sure, which is why I love it. My natural hair is an extremely ashy medium brown, and the mousse is a perfect match. That said, all brown and blonde wigs that are not virgin hair have been bleached to start and then they're coloured. Over time, colour will fade and will need a touch up. This is inevitable, unless you go with virgin hair or synthetic hair. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you for the kind words! Flox and Bijou are both in Canada. I have one piece from Flox, and I like it a lot. I'll keep you updated about other Canadian companies as I find them. :)
Thanks for these reviews! Question…how do you address the “helmet head” or “dome” look in a topper? I just bought my first topper from Highline, and the helmet or dome shape on top looks so unnatural. It lengthens my whole face/forehead. How do I get it to lay flat, and in a round shape? I already tried wetting the top and blow drying flat, and it didn’t help much. When I push with my finger around the part line of the topper, I can feel a gap between the topper and my head. How do I close this gap and get a more natural head shape? That was my husband’s first comment, “the shape of your head has changed.” 🫣
This is a great question- I should probably do a full video to explain. Firstly, I'm sorry this has been the case for you. Can I ask what your drying and storing it on? Also, what is the cap size, as this is also a factor.
Thanks so much for responding! The cap size is 8x8 inches, and I am drying it on a canvas mannequin head. The topper looks fine (round) on the mannequin head. The head is larger in diameter than my head though, so I wonder if that is an issue at all?
Dimples! WOW 😍🤩
The colour of that one is 👌👌

Ive never seen a more realistic wig than the last one! Beautiful!!
It is pretty great. I'm wearing it right now! 😁

Great video. Can you do a similar video with toppers. Also would love a wigshe topper review.

But I love the idea of doing a topper comparison video!! Thanks for a great idea! 🙌

Yes please do a video on best toppers thank you
Similar to this one? Like a low-medium-and high price point?
Yes please!

The last one is your most perfect color for you!
Thank you. The others match my bio hair better, but lighter colours are definitely more flattering as we age, I find. 😊

Does the 2nd one have metal ear stays in the ear tabs? I love the metal ear stays.
The Highline doesn't come with any, but you could add some!
@@lifebeyondlocks Thank you. I have to have ear tabs / stays
@michele6740 if you like the piece, it's definitely possible to add them yourself!
How do you add stays to a wig? That must be a trick.
Have you checked out Milano collection wigs? I’m very curious how it compares to
I haven't tried them, but their wigs do look nice. I do know another wig wearer who has tried them. I could connect you.
I have Milano. I'm just wondering if these are similar quality.
@@hayleymorris5835 I suspect they are similar to Highline 😊
Thanks for taking the time to respond. So would I just put my own bangs under the topper or have the lace come over it?
Also a great question. You could do either, but I do think it might be more comfortable to push your own bangs back and underneath.
Perfect. Great videos. Enjoying watching all your topper. If you come across any good Canadian companies, please share ❤
Thank you for the kind words! Flox and Bijou are both in Canada. I have one piece from Flox, and I like it a lot. I'll keep you updated about other Canadian companies as I find them. :)
Can you share your Wigshe code?
Absolutely: it's ASHLEY10
If you have any questions prior to ordering, please reach out.
High line wig looks better and silkier
Thanks for weighing in. In person, all 3 feel very similar in terms of softness. 😊
Thanks for these reviews!
