With some diviner stat gear for about +50% boon uptime your DPS scrappers and other classes with channeling or slow casting skills will love you. Not only you'll prebuff your whole party with ALL boons, but you will also be a source of party-wide quickness + fury. With last 12 months of nerfs to quickness skills Harbinger remains one of the last reliable sources of good quickness uptime for the party. It won't replace SCOURGE or REAPER, as they have different ROLES.
Big CC, big hits (especially for a hybrid) and as long as you know when to stop spamming projectiles you will be a great asset to your party / squad. Projectile reflects are your enemy, so build requires some getting used to, or it will be actually harming the team.
*I never mentioned we were saving the Veteran wurm xD
CC is a Polish speaking guild that recently moved to Ruins of Surmia, PM me if you want to join. Or in-game message Zizi.1629
Decent understanding of Polish language is required.

this could be a very interesting substitute for Scourge after the 27th. i like it
Yeah, they completely screwed the Scourge.
@@PanPonury I wouldnt say screwed, surely it has a purpose. Dont know which one but I have to find out
Can we see the build? Would love to be able to take Harbringer into zergs.
@WiscoHooser - I've added the build to the video description.
Gameplay is similar to other DPS necro, but more glassy. Few things to keep in mind: life force for this class does not grant you any bonus hit points. When using elite, in 9/10 cases - throw it on your party's feet when not inside any reflect bubbles. You should enter shroud for 9-12 seconds before the engage to pre-stack quickness and fury and blight for extra damage. Your heal potion is also decent AoE damage, you can use it if other skills are on cooldown. Potions and Shroud skills 1 and 2 are projectiles, so be very careful that they won't get reflected! Target players slacking behind the main blob, periodically test the main group for projectile reflects and if you see DPS numbers - keep spamming! Shroud 3-4 are great sources of damage, 4 is also a dodge, 5 is amazing for CC. When skills 3-5 are in shroud are on cooldowns and there are many projectile blocks, exit shroud and use weapon skills / Wells. Harbinger is much harder than Reaper and Scourge in big fights. Some commanders may put you in shit subgroup with no stability or support because they are close minded and blindly believe in stale meta. I used to play Reaper and Scourge and I originally proposed this to our raid leader after a chain of nerfs to boons on other classes, especially quickness. He was very skeptical at first, now he doesn't want me to play anything else :D
@@PanPonury Awesome. Thank you for adding the build!
Maybe for havoc party, but for zergs boon strip necro seems to still be best.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Amazing ❤🔥🔥🔥
Thanks 😄
Good Fun Build to play! Greetings [ODIN]

Ok, j'ai trouvé le build, continue comme ça, j'adore
Why did the Scourge in your group have so much more damage than you? Shouldn't aoe damage at least be similar between Necromancer elite specs?
Which fight are you referring to? Generally the video is now few balance patches old, but even so the combination of stats in your gear also plays a big role. The more you are supporting the less DPS you tend to do. Elite specs are also different in terms of DPS. In the newest meta Scourge is 100% support no DPS, Reaper is mostly melee DPS, Harbinger is uncommon in large fights. It's still OK in 15vs15.
Heya, Thief main here. I usually just roam around picking 1v1s and disrupting. I must admit, I just can't seem to beat Harbingers. Can anyone here tell me some weaknesses and stuff. Burst combos and so on and so on. So I could improve?
Condi cleanse is about it save it for there burst windows so it mitigates
Thief? Thiefs should just die, not improve :>
Lmao, the three damage windows on arcdps made me laugh xD
wdym? most wvw players use these 3 windows
@@Akimbolappen it was 3 times the same thing. It was probably supposed to be damage, strips and cleanses instead. Look at 8:40
3x the damage windows open 3x the damage, am I right?
@Boogie Schmerzbold Haha you are right, I had to remove Arc after one of updates and just re-installed it before having time to re-configure it :D Good spot
Build pls

@@PanPonury Thank you very much! :)
🚀🚀🚀🚀 graty!
dzięki :) kiedy wracasz do gildii ? :>
Meta? Doing half the dps of Scrappers & Revs. Fun maybe, but that’s kitchen sink not meta
Idk tho, giving your subgroup alot of quickness uptime? Like not any builds in wvw have that great of group quickness uptime which is a incredibly boon
@@JordanKamoidrai agree in smaller havoc groups it could be really useful - boonballs with sustain & dps work well. In zergs its a waste of a dps spot, just go scourge = the boon strip is soo much more powerful than any harb boons not already supplied by Fb or tempest
@@dixieflatline1189 @Jordan Cregger Exactly, Firebrands no longer do nearly as much quickness as they used to, other classes too. It's a hybrid char, not 100% DPS, it's not meant to be top1 on Arc, it's meant to boost Scrappers and DPS classes which highly benefit from the quickness, boost overall party DPS and survivability, while keeping very decent DPS itself.
Like I think you are ignoring the extra dps the harbinger is giving it herald and scourge in it subgroup. Quickness is a hell of a boon that anet has kinda said you not allowed to easily have in wvw
there is an opportunity to build you group subscribers is you go over gear and build. but without it you vids are just of another player playing. good luck
