When I applied x-2 white tamiya paint with my airbrush, a lot of it comes out but doesn't give a good finish some reason because you can still see a bit of the primer so could you explain how more white paint came out of your airbrush? Before you say, it's not something to do with my airbrush.
Hey! I understand your concern, first of all believe it or not white paint specially Tamiya x-2 or XF-2 are quiet difficult to get done the right way, look first taking into account that your airbrush is fine like you said, be sure to have the psi around 15 to 20 psi on your air compressor and a good polen filter attached to it, be very patient when applying the white color what I do is just apply a very thin coat of white of , wait about 20 minutes and continue with another coat and again 20 more minutes, repeat the process for like 2 mores coats and you should to go, by the way try to use a light gray primer or white primer if you can this will help you a good coverage of the whole paint process using white 🙂👍

Good job. I'm building the same plane.Could you tell me the color codes of the yellow for the engines and the dark gray of the wings? Thank you
Sure!! I mainly use Tamiya paints, here are the codes: X2 , XF-2 , X8 , X7 , XF80 , XF24 , XF16 let me know if you need any help
Ohh almost forgot! The yellow for the engines is a mix of X8 and X7 just don’t put a lot of red just tiny drop
