When I built mine it had the same problem so I went on the revell web page and ordered the parts that were damaged after 2 weeks i had a new sprue with the engine fan blades compleat a very good service 😊
Great model of the Lufthansa 747-800, well done. I seem to remember a product of clear that would fill in the window frames. Are you familiar with it? Thank you
How do you use the masking tape so well? When I use mine the paint goes under it where it shouldn't go. (I use normal masking tape, not revells' and I handpaint my models)
Hi! Yes I know what the problem is, look, that happens a lot when you use brush, because sometimes the tip of the brush is to wet or heavy with paint and it’s easy for the paint to go with any panel line right next to the masking tape, I suggest using much less of paint with the brush and some good quality masking tape, Vallejo tape is awesome! By the way if may I suggest, try to use an airbrush, painting with brush requieres a lot of technique and sometimes it’s a headache with the thinning of the paint to avoid visible traces 🙂👍
@@theairplaneguy4250 thank you very much, I just have the problem that I'm a complete beginner and I'm making my very first model (harrier gr.3 from Italeri) so I don't have an airbrush🥲
@@Viper.Maverick nice! Don’t worry it’s fine! The learning curve is a must on scale modeling, you will get better and better with each kit you make! 🙂👍
@@notmacabelymml hi! Sure! Look use a good gray primer, or if you must white primer, Tamiya X-2 White for the base color, for the engines nozzles metallic gray, and don’t remember what else, but if you have any questions along the way please feel free to reach out 🙂👍
Hi! Usually I don’t use the cabin windows, they are very difficult to work with mostly on the painting stage, and honestly the finish doesn’t seem to vary a lot if you use them or not, just try to use a very good set of decals some brands dona very good job on the windows decals, 👍
@@theairplaneguy4250 thanks for the quick response! So does painting the interior black like I’ve seen others do actually help at all? I’m guessing the primer coat and base coats would prevent a “see through” effect with the cabin windows? Getting ready to build this model but in the old LH livery!
@@ironchef0000 correct! They are little tricks you can do, wish you a good building process! If you have any other questions or doubts please let me know 👍

@theairplaneguy4250 Thanks! This is my first attempt at an airplane, and I want it to come out clean. Keep on modeling ✨️
Question: What type of putty are you using the seal and level out the fuselage, you know, connecting the two halves?
@@seasoda3319 hello! Just Tamiya gray putty, always works nice for those types of areas
@@theairplaneguy4250 sweet! I already have some in my supplies. Thank you!

How did you keep from painting over the passenger windows?

Very good job! Nice 👍
Thanks 🙏🙏👍
Quick question, where do you get the decals for kits that don’t come with them?
Usually from brands like draw decals, joy decals, 8adecs , nazca decals, each one of them have websites, you can check it out
E-bay might help you out.
Great. Just GREAT!!
Thank you so much 🙂🙏
