Can I use it for gauge monitor only,, my truck is already tuned, but I don’t have a monitor,, I just want to see boost, temps, speeds times ect? So can I use it as a monitor only
I have cs2 evolution and my question is can I delete this evolution program and switch to insight?? or I need buy new cs2 insight? I don't need programming stuff🙂please help and sorry for my English still learning
I just got the Evolution CTS3 but which is the serial number? I see numbers near the HDMI port and on the box but there is no S/N letters. I don't want to log the wrong ones. Update after one year: This monitor saved me from a very expensive repair. There is a bulletin out on the 2016 Duramax #2 oxygen sensor failure. This happened to me and the truck will not regen and the DPF will clog up bad. I was able to see the soot building up abnormally and I used my Insight to do a forced manual regen on it that worked perfectly. Now I go to the dealer for a free O2 sensor under warranty. Saved me a ton of money and hassle.
Love the EDGE Monitors- quick question: I know the Edge website says that the 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 6.2 is not “officially “ supported by the 84130-3 monitor yet. But why wouldn’t it work since it is just a monitor that plugs into the OBD2? I’m sure some parameters wouldn’t work yet, but couldn’t I update the unit over the Internet when they are?
unfortunately we don't have a video on the duramax options but give our team a call for more information, they should be able to answer your questions 623-434-5277
That's incorrect. The Insight CTS3 that we showcased in the video does not tune the vehicle and does not include any tunes. The Evolution CTS3 is the version that includes pre-loaded tunes.
Yes, but not in the way you think. The unit can display a PID for "C speed" which is calibrated speed. If you select to display this PID, you will have to input the factory tire size, then the current tire size. Once this is done, presumably the speed indicated by the PID "C Speed" will be your calibrated speed. This however will not change the factory speedo readout.
While the CTS2 had mpg display, I don’t believe the CTS3 does. This should have been covered in this review. Regardless this will prevent me from buying the CTS3. No point in paying more for less.
The CTS3 is actually cheaper than the CTS2 "*Some features may vary by make/model/year. What I regret about the CTS3 is *NOT* compatible with ANY Toyota vehicles. This is despite Edge advertising the CTS3 is "Compatible with most domestic gas and diesel vehicles 1996 and newer". Someone might like to inform people about that that's a pretty big con in my book.
I've called into the company and I'm not impressed with the offering for my 06 Dodge. If it was a Ford they would add Trans tunes. Not that they couldn't add tunes for the Dodge, They just don't offer them. WTF! You guys need to get on the stick, don't just offer the bare minimum. Make yourself a Great Name in the Community. Fat and lazy is how I would describe this attitude ( can you see the picture in your head). My truck works the upgrade, but really it could be so much more. with just upgrading the operating system. You could offer it for more money, but not to even try. why don't you come back to this with a offering. What about the old mileage pro program? And it doesn't work with the modern Windows format, really? does it cost that much that you won't upgrade? come on Your worth it!
LOVE my CTS2 for my Raptor!!! And I really luke the revision of the CTS3...But, for price,I'll keep my 2 for now...
Also, the CTS3 doesn’t have MPG display like the CTS2. So another reason to keep your CTS2.
Thanks grat video where could I find a list of paremeters for my 2024 550 Powerstroke
Can I use it for gauge monitor only,, my truck is already tuned, but I don’t have a monitor,, I just want to see boost, temps, speeds times ect? So can I use it as a monitor only
you can
Just bought this tuner. How do i tune my ls swapped obs chevy to gain more HP and torque
No oil pressure on the main screen?
Just bought the CTS3 Evolution tuner. How do i tune my truck for HP and torque? I tried all the tunes it came with, but my 5.3 feels the same

Does this read oil pressure? And do I have to have vehicle equipped with can?

I'm looking into buying CTS3 kit for my 2022 F250 6.7. Can someone tell me if you can increase the speed limiter with it? Ty

Mine seems very laggy. I also installed the backup cam today from edge and it isn't full screen. Am I doing something wrong?
Yall have all those temp readings and nothing for transmission?
U can change the pids to read all types of stuff. I have my trans temp on mine
Does it read pil pressure 2020 scat pack
Can you add your own custom Backgrounds to the CTS3?
yes, quite simple. there’s a couple videos of it on here.
Is this only for trucks and not for cars?
Does this work on a 2013 Buick Verano
Is this plug and play on factory no tune engine? This would be great for an efi engine swap on an older car like I'm doing.
So I just bought this setup it Doesnet come with tunes already on it? Pretty sure it said Economy, towing, and performance
No
Will it work on my 2011 Camaro ?
dose anyone know who makes a digital Gauge Monitor for VW's?
Does it have the injector balance rate for diesel trucks?
since this clown is "too busy" to respond to your comment, I will. It does show balance rates but only for the duramax.. as far as I know.
Is it compatible with modern car with OBD2?
So which one would I need to be able to adjust tires size, better my mpg and more?
Cts3 evolution

I have a 2019 ram 3500 and a 2007 ram 2500. Can I use this on both vehicles on a day to day basis?
Yes
that screen looks horrendously unresponsive. What is the rated refresh rate? 30hz?
Does it tune ?
Great review, do you have any info on the cts3 evolution for gmc duramax. There is nothing out there right now
unfortunately we don't have a video on the duramax options but give our team a call for more information, they should be able to answer your questions 623-434-5277
@@stage3motorsports thanks ill do that
Thoughts on using this on a seadoo 300
Does this show fuel level?
Its work ford mustang 5.0 2019?
Does it void the warranty on the ranger
It shouldn’t as long as you don’t put a tune on your vehicle
Would it work on a 2004 F-150 5.4
Yes it works !
Can you connect a backup cámera on this One?
Yes.
can i run this on my vw jetta
Can you read oil pressure with this ?
We’re you able to get an answer on this?
Can you see how much gas you have ?
It comes with 5 pre loaded tunes idk why you said it doesn't
That's incorrect. The Insight CTS3 that we showcased in the video does not tune the vehicle and does not include any tunes. The Evolution CTS3 is the version that includes pre-loaded tunes.
Do you have to unplug an aftermarket radio to use it?
Can i add a % increase for mph since I’m running larger tires? My Speedo vs gps speed difference is 11%.
Yes, but not in the way you think. The unit can display a PID for "C speed" which is calibrated speed. Once this is done, presumably the speed indicated by the PID "C Speed" will be your calibrated speed.
This however will not change the factory speedo readout.
Do you have to leave it plugged in the whole time to keep the tune? Or can you unplug after installing the tune?
2:10
It is just a monitor
Would it be compatible with a bully dog sensor station?

2:27 in the top left, it says speed.

Next time just take the gas cap off or air out a tire to see how the diagnostic feature works on that device
Yeah I'm not sold on this product.... Not a bad product tho
