#StarTopic, I think the spider is a statue. Right under it, there’s something that looks like a cement structure that could be what the spider is sitting on. The spider is probably attached to it so the body is being held up.
That spider did exist millions of years ago (Paleozoic era). If you closely look at the picture you can tell it's fake as you can see there is a stand in the middle of the spider to help support it. They make alot of giant spiders for tourist to take pictures with. As said in one comment there was a higher content of O2(Oxygen) in the atmosphere which allowed insect to grow at an enlarge rate. The largest Spider currently on record is the Goliath BirdEating spider which has a record of a leg span of 11in(28cm). Basically making it an 12inch spider.
Look at the overlap of the spiders leg over her face, look at the spiders fangs, compare to real spider fangs. "Pfft, Photoshopped!!" Would be terrifying if a real spider could get half that size though. They'd still be eating us...
