I really miss Kevin. No one could set a realistic tone with black women better than him.
I agree. As he said in this and other pod cast /shows, he loves women as i do and not want to hurt them emotionally or physically but men live in a different reality that women think and now it must be world. Men have quirks, high and lows but modern women look in the mirror and see things that are not real but her mind can convince very well quickly "her world" on many different levels of reality. And it is almost a crime to tell a woman otherwise. This good man tried to help/teach them how men live and see with our eyes or freely speak our opinion on a street or you may need or end up in a court room and i am not even going to touch signing a contract with one and risk anything i worked for or brought to the table of "sign your life away" and now share with her + the 20 year payment plan for only one child to be taught by mom how to hate you while a man tries to be a man and pay for HIS children, if it even is HIS or not or just because she said so in her reality world. Pass ! Chad, Poking Poowky or Ray Ray you can have them to make the next generation of single mom's and that is still my life to date to teach all young or old men with hopes and dreams of finding a unicorn without lots of money involved on a mans losing side of the dragged out till said man is in deep dept and homeless divorce Kangaroo court. Still woman's world does not understand. Line up Fools , players and simp's ,,,it's your turn at it. P.S. Good luck , real or not , will not be on your side. I still enjoy listening to Mr. Samuels shows and if i may feel pretentious and say i think that would make him feel good about his mark on humanity of both genders.

My husband battled cancer for 5 years. It's, among other things, expensive. We sold 2 of our 3 homes to pay for his treatments. I spent hours cooking special food for him. Sometimes he couldn't eat it. Sometimes he would lash out at me. Never, did I consider him "abusive". He was afraid and in pain, though he tried not to show it.
He lost the battle 😢. I lost my one and only ❤
When did we lose the commitment to our vows?

While I imagine it is a lot easier if you have two houses to sell, I do not disparage your familial agony and your ability to see it through with him to the end. Lots of women in your position, with such options, would not have stuck with him as you seem to have done. You prove that honor can be respected no matter the socio-economic status of the relationship. You could've ditched him with his blessing, kept an extra house or two, and you did not. You're a good woman.

My previous point was that I typically operated in good faith across the board, as it pertains to dating and expected women to do the same. However, Mr. Samuels has revealed that is a foolish approach considering there are women (some, not all) who are completely incapable of being honest and/or rooting their preferences in reality.

My uncle was old school: total masculine man who worked hard with what skills he had to support his family. He cut lawns and did menial work. His wife had a higher paying job in the military (support); yet she respected his character. They as a team were able to raise two successful daughters and settle into a nice home in Texas back in the 50’s - 70’s. He was the head of the house. And you knew when he was serious.

I once worked as a Cable Installer. During training, they showed a video about a man that fell off a ladder and was paralyzed to illustrate how important it was to practice ladder safety. Before the accident, his wife loved him and his kids looked up to him. But after the accident, they no longer seen him as the same and left him in a nursing home. He died not long after that.
I can totally see your point. I was like you said. I was the do it all for the kids father. I was able to enjoy the ride of my daughter's softball career. She played a little under 2000 games during her playing time. But, I got hurt during my son's freshman year of high school. I wasn't able to put forth the effort with my son involving baseball, due to my back injury. Ever since my relationship with my son has been harmed. 7 years ago is when it started. Things are no better today, than 5 years ago.

@shawnmendrek3544 it is disturbing. I'm soon to be 58 years old. In all my years I've been in the presence or spoken with my own father 4 times. My mom and him separated when I was 3 years old. The fall of '69 my mom and uncle drove me from Michigan to the Tennessee/ Alabama state line to see my father. Just like she did the year before. When she arrived at his home with me. She was told "I don't want to see him and don't bring him back". His new soon to be wife didn't and still don't want a thing to do with me. Therefore I grew up without a father. But, for the next 20+ years my grandmother (father's mom). I always got a birthday card and $5 dollars from her. When I hit my twenties I finally went south to see the man who abandoned me. It was like I thought would be, Meaningless. Even though my father don't want a thing to do with me. The rest of my family have always loved me and made sure that I knew that just because Frank (father)didn't give a rip about me. The rest of the family don't feel the same. Because of them I take serious pride in my name. Up until I met everyone, my name didn't mean anything.
After all that, I can't tell you how shitty it is having a not so good relationship with my son. After the way I grew up. I really didn't see this happening. It's not like I quit loving him. I try every day to no avail.

I had an accident at work and broke my back on 2 places. Had to retire early on disability. Also I got a massive blood infection that almost ended me! When I collapsed on the floor she came home and didn't want to call 911 claiming she didn't know what to do! She finally did telling me she was tired of "saving my life"!??? When I was in the hospital and rehab, she moved her boyfriend in to our home.
It went downhill from there. Lol!
