One great cheap tool is the digital thermometer from harbor freight. Like $5 and accurate. If I forget them in ductwork I won't cry. I have $300 worth of thermometers and I use a $5 one lol

That lowloss adapter is tiny... Usually i use Refco's but they are double the size.
