The odds of winning the jackpot in the Mega Millions lottery are about 1 in 302.5 million. For Powerball, the odds are slightly better at 1 in 292.2 million. Comparatively, the odds of successfully mining Bitcoin with a tiny miner are about 1 in 34,000 per year. So, while both are long shots, the lottery odds are even more daunting.
I just used your link to buy a BitAxe Gamma! I plan on getting four more after I test the first one! Your video was very informative and gave me a lot of ideas! We’ll let you know when I hit my first block! 😂 I’ll give you a 10% finders fee if I do!!
In the fever of gold, who made more money were those who sold shovels than the miners itself. This is just a lucky miner ya'll, you can make your own with a 20$ chip programed with arduino 😂
Why get a Bitaxe when I can buy a Avalon Nano 3 for $250 on Amazon and get 4 T/h and the best Bitaxe is $289 and only does 1.1 T/h . I will just keep buying Nanos.
I have the nano 3 it's first miner since I don't have the budget for a bigger miner yet, would love those dogecoin 120v , but in the meantime those bitaxe look decent for a cheap solar setup that I have, that's probably my next project, go green go solar.
Oh wow, that's nice information. As an electrical engineer, I'll definitely take a look at the DIY, I have everything here to build them. I've calculated for 10 units, there's around 35$ of digikey parts per unit, 13$ for 10 pcb, 7$ for a stencil, 5$ for the heatsink + fan (+12$ for Noctua fan), 2$ for the screen, 14$ for the s19xp chip . So 580$ for 10 diy bitaxe, hmmmm could be a nice project!
Hi. Not sure if this is a mistake, but at 12:54 you show the chances of winning a block when talking about the 1TH Bitaxe Gamma, but the screen that shows the chances is set to GH/s.
Definitely a lottery ticket. The Bit Axe Gamma the "Best" model: Chance per block: 1 in 763,236,364, Chance per day: 1 in 5,300,253, Time estimate: 14,521 years
100% Love these lotto tickets. Got my 6 axes cranking. You forgot the fun of tinkering and overclocking these babies. Super fun. my gamma is running 1.35ghs rock solid on 20w
Thanks for keeping us informed! I will always be grateful to you for helping me and my family in our financial guidance. Your lessons are inspiring and helpful to us. Imagine I invested $18k and received $142k profit in 14 days.
Dude my ex-girl friend lied to me and was evading police and the IRS no joke anyways she stole the cables to some of my miners. We were together for like 4 years and everything was great now I'm bummed out man.
Currently I’d say yeah, volcminer could change that in a few months. I’d check asic marketplace and coin mining central with our code VOSKCOIN and try VOSKDOGE - Elphapex sells directly now too but idk if they cover duties/tariffs, they’re also out of stock atm
Looks like e-waste to me. If it's too small to hit a block yourself without relying on lottery odds and too small to get any reasonable payoff time period mining in a pool, then it's useless.
@@VoskCoin Because it's 1/200th the power of something that can actually do something. You said in the video that it would take a long time to get a payout from a mining pool that's worth anything. You also said you need lottery levels of luck to get a solo block. So by those metrics then it looks like something that just burns electricity but doesn't actually do anything. Would you be willing to sell your existing equipment and instead wire a shed full of these things to mine for you instead? Hell no, cause it's not worth it.
I love the idea of this but just sent my BitAxe back for a refund. It took 3 rounds of production before I finally got one before they sold out and when it came it wouldn’t connect with any pools. At first it did nothing but run the fan, then it finally said it was hashing but it didn’t show on either of the pools I had it connected to. Then, after about a week it just started overheating. After the first overheat it wouldn’t hash or stay on for more than 30 seconds before overheating again. I really hope to get another one if they produce more. I am sure I was just unlucky to get a defective unit.
What's up, man, this is my first time viewing a video of yours, though, i have seen the name many times on YT. Of any and all other mining channels I've watched the mining videos they've produced, you are the first of them that I am reaching out to and asking a question, or a few questions. At one point, about the 14:25 mark, you state that dollar for dollar you should get a full size BTC miner. What do you suggest should be the full size miner one would purchase? Mind you, i have never mined before other than phone mining. I put $600 into a BlockDAG miner, and i believe that is a pretty much ready out of the box miner. What would be the most efficient way for me to better understand mining, i dont have anyone near or around my area that I can visually see on a personal level out here in Florida... but I am truly interested in starting a tiny, TINY mining lot. Something that can bring a few hundred a week to a few hundred/1k a month... supplement some other spending. The BDAG miner can pull $30/day at $900/month and looking for something to push me up over the $1k mark. A bit of advice would be appreciated... thank you, man.

How does the Nerd Miner compare, if you know?
Someone did find a block with a bitaxe back in July over at ckpool. So it can and does happen.

I have both and the Bitaxe is more efficient in terms of J/TH than the Nano 3

What do you make a day or do you just get chances of winning a bitcoin ?
Posibilidad por eso solo miner No pool
Wow.. been waiting for an affordable unit.
I have been using my laptops. Made 189 usd on them over 12 months
If you want affordable and bitcoin, bitaxe is absolutely the ticket
On how many laptops?
did you calculate the electricity cost? because its way more than 189 in 1year
Is that using MinerGate or Cudo Miner? Or were you directly mining Bitcoin?
