I have the Bradley 6 shelf smoker. Used it for the first time last week. You did not mention that the heat element is only 500 watts. This is about half what is required. It tooks 4 hours to get it up to 200F. The air temp was 20 to 25 C while I was waiting for this thing to get hot enough to cook. The smoker worked a treat.

Bought a smokin tex from bbq guys, if you're looking for something reliable and easy to use, can't go wrong. 100% stainless at about $400. Would not trade for another smoker out there.

Myself and some of my smoking meat friends all tried out several brands of electric smokers and bbq pits, none were cheap, all were name branded high end electric smokers and bbq pits. All of the electric smokers and pits didn't have the good smoke taste of an old style offset smoker.The meats were rather plain tasting but tender. All of the electric smokers and pits had uneven heat issues. All of the electric smokers and pits were a pain to clean up after cooking. None of the electric smokers did a good job on smoking homemade sausage. The plus of an electric smoker is it's good at cold smoking cheese and the upright smokers save floor space. Another plus, my wife hates the old style smoker and pit because she is impatient. She likes the ease of plugging it in, filling the pellet bin and setting the temp. But she likes the taste of the old heavy iron offset smoker a lot better.

For anyone who is buying a masterbuilt beware because I received one in a box that was totally destroyed and re-taped and yet I did not get any type of open box or damage discount. Then to top it off there is no telephone number to call and they force you to contact them online. This mean they can take up to a week or more to get back to you or even if you need a replacement part. If I could do it again I would buy a different brand or one that I can get at a store that is easily returnable

A con I see that would prevent me from buying a Bradley is that I don't want to be forced into buying their "biscuits". With all the supply chain issues etc I prefer regular wood chips or wood chunks that will always be available.
I enjoyed your review, except I would have preferred you actually would prefer you mention the sizes of each tray. The reason is that some of the smokers require cutting the full rack of ribs in order to fit on a tray similarly the size of a brisket may need cutting as well. This is a significant amount of work saving. Also the costs of using wood pucks(Bradley) versus chips. Also the temperature range is important for cooking especially the higher temperatures as it relates to the colder temperature areas and winter temperatures of say....-10degC or approx 15deg.F.

I kept the panel away from the smoker, and that seemed to solve the problem, for awhile. Now every time I plug it in, it trips a fuse. Not sure where the short is in the system. It lasted about a year, or 10 smokes.

Top 5 my ass the best residential smoker is the cook shack amerique period! Have mine for seven years now still going strong, only thing wrong is should’ve made the wood box stainless steel like the rest of the smoker mine rotted away but that’s it minor issue. I had a master built once and it only lasted two months.
There are a lot of people smoking vegetables with grill marks I this video. A better size comparison should show a brisket, a rack of ribs or a large pork butt... inside the unit (not being prepared).
Don’t waste your time on a electric smoker. They are built cheaply and break down quickly. How I know you ask, it’s because I have owned several and each one from different brands all broke down. Go ole school and learn how to use a wood fired smoker.
These are bought and paid for commercials for these products thank goodness it’s obvious enough you don’t have to put up with that hillbilly in the backyard pretending like he paid for everything doing his own version of a paid commercial.

As i checked all the model are quiet efficient with high tech but out of that i will go for Char-Broil Deluxe.Its more favourable...

But u have to use their smoker wood or whatever u call them.
I've never heard of a Bradley so u might find it hard to locate those smoker pills.
